Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde

Dr Jekyll woke up, he looked around him and was surprised to find himself back in his own bed, now wearing ripped clothes, he felt himself lying on his wings and he looked at his hooves and they were grey instead of ebony, he smiled seeing that they had been no permanent changes to him from becoming Hyde. He looked at the tatters of his foal clothes that had been ripped during his re transformation into Dr Jekyll and he carelessly threw them of him and placed them on the floor. He laid in bed smiling, he felt amazing as if the transformation drink had given him a lovely version of a hangover, he felt amazing as if he could do anything, he looked at the clock and was alarmed to find it was 2pm. He smiled however remembering that he had no appointments that day and he sighed with relief. Suddenly he heard a knock on his door with the usual voice of Poole.

“Dr Jekyll sir…Glad you are finally awake sir…Well I hope you are sir…Mam Octavia is here to see you sir.”

Dr Jekyll could not believe his luck.

“Oh of course…her…send her in.”

“Will do Dr Jekyll sir.” As soon as he said this the door was quickly opened and shut by Octavia, she hovered over Jekyll staring at him, he could tell she had had a rough night, her normally perfect hair was resembling tumble weed and her eyes looked red from crying.

“….Octavia... What happened...?”  Octavia quickly responded.

“I thought it was over Jekyll that’s what. Jekyll I know about you and Grima and that bastard trying to split us up but you have to listen to me, don’t be scared of him...The secret he holds is really not that strong, sure some members of the court will be appalled but I’m sure the rest of them do the same if not worst, they will respect you for your honesty.

Jekyll sighed looking down, he felt bad for making Octavia feel this way but there wasn’t much of a solution.

“I can’t risk it Octavia…..I love you but until Grima is dealt with I cannot do anything.” Octavia was taken aback slightly but soon she began to smirk.

“Oh we don’t need to worry about Grima for a while….he is in a coma...he is predicted to be out in a week but that’s a long way a way.” Jekyll sat up in bed quickly.

“How did that happen…how bad is it.” Octavia chuckled a little at the idea of taking pleasure in the describing of the physical wounds of someone she despised.

“Somepony kicked him, so hard in the head it caused some real damage, pony medicine is astonishing though so he should be right as rain in a week, though however did the deed is a real hero.”

Jekyll smirked, remembering his handiwork as Mr Hyde he almost opened his mouth to claim responsibility but looked deep into Octavia’s eyes; he did not want to look a monster.

“Yes…a hero indeed.” Then Octavia blushed a little.

“Well since he’s gone...I thought I could give you a little treat for trying to stand up to Grima at the castle and telling him why you loved me.”

Jekyll blushed; he wandered what this reward might be. Octavia smiled as she carefully left the room, she came back shortly with a gentlepony’s cane Dr Jekyll blushed bright red and Octavia giggled.

“Oh you cheeky little foal…you thought I was going to do some funny stuff.” She shook her head blushing as well. “Not now...you haven’t even had a shower you…Maybe tomorrow yes?”

Jekyll nodded obediently then chuckled, Octavia trotted over to him and gave him a loving nuzzles and a gentle lick on his muzzle, she then bowed quickly.

“I’m sorry honey, I have to go do another orchestral practice, I will try and visit you again…Must be off!” She then quickly galloped out of the room and out of the house, Jekyll grinned feeling a little better due to Octavia’s lovely visit, he looked at the cane smiling, he always felt that he would look cooler with one. Then he remembered suddenly the feelings he had felt as Hyde and considered something. With no appointments and no visit from Octavia that day, why not have another experience as Hyde….It was very tempting. Then he realised, if he wanted to play Hyde, he would need some new clothes, as well as a better base of operations than Canterlot, especially with the hunt for Grima's attacker now commencing.
