Dr. Robotnik and the Death Egg!

From the outside, Eggman's base seems huge. But from the inside, it's even huger. "Holy Cupcakes! This place is HUGE!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed as the last word of her sentence echoed all over the place! "Wow! I could possibly live here! Well you know without the horrible smell and machines and all that!" she added. Twilight was amazed at all the technological beauty that surrounded the walls and ceilings and even the floor had a pattern of wired lights. "Wow! All this scientifical wonder! All this technology could possibly help uncover even more discoveries!" she exclaimed joyfully. "Yeah but right now, these machines are being used for evil!" Tails exclaimed. "Oh right!" Suddenly an alarm sounded followed by a voice over the loud speaker: ATTENTION ROCKET TAKE OFF IN T-MINUS 20 seconds! Spike went outside to see the nose of a rocket pointed straight at….The Death Egg! "If there's a rocket here, we might want to start getting on FAST!" He exclaimed. The others joined him outside and suddenly ran back inside along with Spike! "We gotta find that rocket and get on if we want to stop Eggman!" Twilight exclaimed with panic in her voice. Young Sonic found a set of stairs leading up to a platform connecting to a hatch on the side of a giant rocket! He points it out. Spike hopped on Twilight's back to avoid being left behind. With a flash, everyone is on the platform and entering to giant transport.

Meanwhile back in Ponyville, Princess Celestia, the Mayor, and all the residents of the town were all anxiously waiting for a signal on the monitor in town hall.

Suddenly the screen turned on with the view of the group in the Space rocket. Everypony cheered. They were getting closer to bringing back harmony to Equestria

Back on the Rocket, Sonic suddenly heard Princess Celestia's voice echo in his head.

"Sonic, if you can defeat Dr. Eggman, Nightmare Moon, and Discord, our world will be at peace once again! Don't fail us now Sonic!" "Don't worry Princess! Leave it to us!" He said.

Meanwhile in the Death Egg, Eggman, Discord, and Nightmare Moon were all anxiously waiting for the countdown. "So tell me doctor, what do you plan to do exactly?" Nightmare asked curiously. "Ah! Glad you asked your highness! It's quite simple!" Eggman explained, pointing to a timer counting down rapidly from 1 hour, 30 minutes, and 90 seconds. "When this timer reaches 0, the Death Egg will fire a massive energy beam composed entirely of the energy I've siphoned from the Elements of Harmony and the Chaos Emeralds! It will hit the planet, releasing a mind control signal across the world, putting everypony, even the Princess, under OUR command!!! That is..if we can manage to hold off Sonic and his pestering pony posse while the cannon fires!" "Sounds like it could work! But I agree. We MUST hold those pests off for as long as we can!" Discord added. "So how do we do it?" Nightmare asked. "Oh don't worry about that! I have a few tricks up my sleeve!" Eggman said as he pushed a button on his control panel "Heheheheh…HOHOHOHO!!!"

In the Death Egg's landing pad, the Rocket carrying the group along with Eggman's cargo, lands. The group emerged and looked around. "Don't let your guard down. Eggman's bound to have traps set up here." Sonic warned the group. "Way ahead of you!" Fluttershy added staying close to Sonic's side. Suddenly, the group noticed Eggman's Mobile come out from a hole in the ceiling. "Eggman!" Twilight and the Ponies exclaimed… but.. it wasn't Eggman….Young Sonic immediately recognized the driver: Dr. Robotnik!! "HAHAHAHA!!!!! Long time, no see Sonic! My loathsome, pot-bellied nemesis! And you have friends! How nice!" he said eyeing the girls and spike. "well I happen to have some too! Including…" suddenly a second egg-mobile descended. "ME!" Eggman said, finishing Dr. Robotnik's sentence. The two Sonics stared in disbelief (from now on let's just stick to calling the Sonic's: Classic Sonic and Modern Sonic and it's easier to tell the two Eggman apart with Dr. Eggman and Dr. Robotnik.) "I bet some of you are wondering why Sonic and I are in this Time and Dimension." Robotnik added. "If you would be so kind as to explain, gentleman genius Dr. Eggman from the future?" "It would be my pleasure, most excellent and efficacious Dr. Eggman of the past!

After my recent accidental setback, my energy detectors went wild with powerful readings of an unknown energy source which you may know very well as the Elements of Harmony. I then had a stunning breakthrough! What if these Elements were to combine their power with that of the Chaos Emeralds? I crossed dimensions, leading me here! After some discoveries with Equestria's legends, I was able to free Discord from his stone prison, and revert Princess Luna back to her evil self! AND I brought someone ELSE back as well!" as Eggman stopped for a second, a flash of light illuminated the room. When vision was restored…… "THE CHANGELING QUEEN!!" Twilight exclaimed. "HAHAHAHAHA!! That's right Twilight! I'm back! With VENGANCE!" she exclaimed still remembering her defeat back in Canterlot during Princess Cadence's Royal wedding with Twilight's brother, Shining Armor, also known as the captain of the royal guards. The Ponies gulped. They were outnumbered!! "With their help I was able to unlock the power of the Elements of Harmony! I did some tests and found out that its energy is can also be used for mind control! Thus my plan was all put together and ready! I'd just shoot the planet, give out my commands, and Eggmanland will FINALLY come to be! But in order to perfect my plan, I needed the help of somebody as smart as I am! The only person THAT smart is ME!" Eggman finished. Robotnik was flattered! "Oh you are to kind, my dear future self!" "And we were ALL happy to help knowing we'd all get our share of the reward of Eggman's plan!" everyone on Eggman's side added. "So THAT'S why you were flyin' that fancy ship of yours all over the place! To free our worst enemies!" Applejack exclaimed. "It's about time someone got smart!" Eggman said.

"ATTACK!!" Eggman ordered as his evil henchmen lunged at the group!! When suddenly a bright lightning bolt appeared as the ground started to shake. A portal opened…...
