The Adventure of Five Friends on an Unknown World

Chapter 5: Sora's Arrival and Memories

Sora had been passed out during his trip from the crystal empire to the train station at Ponyville, but during that time he had horrible images fill his head of his heart slowly darken and blacken as the darkness within him took over. The last image to assault his mind was that of him striking down ponies left and right.

A sudden smack across the face made him wake up to see a worried Riku looking him in the eyes. "Sora, finally you are awake!" Before sora could respond, he got brought into a strangle like hug by riku.

"What's the matter riku? How long have i been asleep? Can i breathe now?" Sora was quickly losing air and riku let him go. Quickly sora took a deep breathe before he looked up at the others getting off of the train. Some ponies in armor stood along a line up towards the castle, but they blocked the exit for Sora and Riku.

Twilight looked back and informed the ponies that the two colts were with them, after a bit the guards moved aside and allowed the two males to follow the six mares. Sora and Riku followed Twilight and her friends up to a castle, both the colts going wide eyed as they saw the size of the castle.

Both of them were pushed forward and escorted inside, alongside of Twilight Sparkle who had to report to Celestia about both her success with the Crystal Empire, and also about her finding the two boys that are with her right now.

They were lead towards a room where Celestia and Luna would sit on the only two seats within there, two thrones that were decorated to match the sun and moon. Yet only one of them was occupied at the moment, and that would be the seat that symbolized the night and moon itself, where Luna was sitting.

Sora and Riku decided to hang back near the entrance after the guards closed the door behind them. They felt like it was right to let Twilight introduce them to this princess since they were not from this place and did not know their customs.

Twilight would bow to Princess Luna and smiles happily yo her. "Hello, Princess Luna, it has been a while since we last spoken to each other."

The young princess went to speak, but then remembers something and then spoke in a soft voice. "Hello Twilight Sparkle. I am curious as to who these two colts are, and as to how your mission went inside of the crystal empire."

Sora bowed and then slowly looked up, looking serious for once while he looked up at Luna. "My name is Sora, my friend over near the entrance is Riku. It is nice to meet you..." Sora sensed something was a bit off about the princess before them, like they shared the same experience, but he was unsure what it was, but the thing he felt connected between them was the feeling of loneliness.

Yet... there was something else...familiar about the pony princess. Slowly he would walk forward and squint his eyes as he looked at her. "Have we met before?"

Luna looked at him curiously as she sat there. "I am not too sure that we have met before. Why do you think i am familiar?"

He then moved to her side and blinks a bit as he then gets hit with a painful memory of seeing the side of her face on a moon. "Y-You are that mare from the moon! The one form my dream!"

-------Two Years Ago------

Sora was a normal teenager, living on Destiny Islands with his friends without a care in the world. Except for this night, this night he could feel the rage of another person that drew him to it in his sleep.

Many stars started to slowly pass by him as he flew, flying towards the source of the rage he felt. The stars slowly started to come to a stop as he stopped in front of a moon. Not the moon of his world, but of another, and the outline of a mare on the moon who looked like she was shrouded in darkness.

White chains surrounding the moon kept the darkness from moving, and a lock is what kept the chains there. Sora looked at the mare and then slowly floated over to the lock on the chains, putting his hand on it. "So you are trapped as well? Heh if this is real then i ask but one thing, help me escape from my world once this is all over."

He would think in his dream and then he put his hand out, a giant key of light appearing in his hands which he used to thrust into the lock. The key turned easily and with a loud unlocking sound the lock opened and disappeared along with the chains. He could feel the anger slowly moving away from the moon, slowly becoming a black alicorn, with turquoise, dragonic eyes. Her mane and tail slowly flowed and looked as if it was made of the night sky itself.

She turned and then bowed before zooming off form the boy to a world that he didn't even catch a glimpse of before he woke up in his bed, or rather his floor and only one leg on the bed.Sighing to himself he would get up onto his bed and looked out the window, suddenly a storm appearing out of no where over the island. "A storm? ....Oh, no, the raft!" Without a moments hesitation he got out of bed and headed to his boat in order to get tot he island to save the raft he and his two friends worked so hard on.

---------Present Time-------

"Y-You were there in my dream, trapped in the moon." Sora looked at her, blinking a bit as he looked more closely. "Or at least you looked like her after i set her free."

Luna's eyes would widen as she looked at the keyblade master in surprise. "T-Thou art the one who set us free when we were nightmare moon?"
