Digistar's adventures:The Legend of Equestria
We all know the story of the brave pony known as, Link the hero chosen by the goddess and the tales of twilight sparkle and her friends but what about Luna and Celestia? No one in today's time really knows about them and trust me they aren't alone.
the Alicorns have been around since time itself. Every Alicorns does something different the problem is only two are known so far. The princesses of Equestria princess Luna and Celestia controllers of the sun and the moon.Little is known about these ponies except they are Alicorns and that they control the sun and the moon.
This tale starts at Canterlot castle where princess Celestia is looking at the stars. She lets out a faint sigh as the sun is almost due to come up any moment dawn was delayed when Celestia heard the sound of hoof-steps.
"Princess I must speak with you at, it is rather urgent, the door of time inside the temple of time has been opened" Celestia turned to a worried Pegasus guard with a look of surprise "So, my brother did return after all" the guard not asking any questions flew off.
Celestia heard more hoof-steps coming this time from the castle itself.From the door behind Celestia Luna appeared really excitedly she spoke "Sister did you hear he came back" Celestia very calmly replied "Yes but he also left faster than that assassin he used to be friends with, mind you Luna he is an Alicorn too he can learn almost any skill in a matter of days" "But sister he has the ocarina of time and now the master sword if he has been corrupted by the evil too then we should be careful* replied Luna.
"Would you please look for him I really wish too make sure he didn't take the wrong path" Celestia asked kindly
"I shall be on my way then, oh and Celestia I'm going to Ponyville. First too inform your student and second, that town is rather strange you never know who could be hiding there" announced Luna
Once she had informed twilight and her friends she went back to Canterlot after doing a small search of the area
inside twilight's library her and her friends were talking
"Wait, there is another prince" exclaimed rarity. "I have had my suspicions for a while now" twilight said rather focused
"hold on a second, faster and more agile than my ancestor Fyrefly? Impossible" Rainbow Dash butted in. "Its possible sugercube, he is one of them Alicorns ain't he not?" AppleJack said rather confused "Does that mean we can't have a party?" pinkie pie asked unusually quiet.Fluttershy didn't speak as she usually doesn't
In the morning they set out to see, Zecora to see if she saw anything on the way. They asked many ponies just before they went to see Zecora they talked to Vinyl Scratch who asked if she could come along with them, they would be slightly safer as she could wub them to death with her music. As they entered the forest they saw a white pony with a cloak they could just make out that his mane and tale were an icy blue and black and they saw a horn and what looked to be a sword sheath but he ran off too fast to talk to him, he ran in the direction of Zecora's hut. When they arrived Zecora was just coming into her hut "Did you just see a white unicorn run by?" Twilight asked "Yes my dear a friend of mine just ran clear I advise you to stay away or else it might be the end of your days" Zecora replied "So in a manner of speaking he wants his identity kept a secret?" rarity asked "Quite so my purple maned friend" Zecora replied again "I shall tell you all only this, he is a master of disguise and almost as deadly an off date cricket" at the mere thought of what Zecora said rarity turned around in disgust every-pony else just said thank you and left
They went deeper into the forest "I don't think we should go any farther" Vinyl said like she was hiding something every-pony stopped and looked at her, eventually she cracked "FINE I GIVE UP HE IS HERE I PROMISED I WOULDN'T SAY ANYTHING BUT I JUST CANT ANY-MORE his name is Digistar he is the one your looking for, he is the one who took the master sword" they then heard a scream from deeper into the forest that came from a house it sounded like Octavia, they rushed over to see the unicorn fighting a dragon with Trixie!? the dragon was defeated not long after the Unicorn's had used a powerful ice spell, the two with a newly returned Octavia turned to seven surprised ponies....

authors note: I ran out of rhymes for Zecora and I am sorry for punctuation problems if I missed anything or if its poorly written it is my first fanfic
EDIT: No longer on hiatus, my grammar has improved. I changed Digistar's appearance a bit too

The two unicorns look at the other ponies before Trixie makes conversation "Oh, it's you and before you ask, no I'm not mad at you any more. This nice pony here has been teaching me"
"That's nice and all Trixie but who is he?" Twilight Sparkle asked
"Well, uhh, you see. I can't really tell you" Trixie replied
Stepping in front of Trixie and taking the hood of his now ripped cloak down, the white stallion spoke.
"Allow me to explain, My name is Digistar, the Alicorn of ice, I was also known as Snowwy by my sister. What brings you here to this part of the woods, Twilight Sparkle"
The air around got cold as he spoke, cold or not twilight had to explain the situation "Well Digistar it's like this, you took the master Sword and the princesses are worried that you were corrupted by the darkness that has been surrounding Equestria for a few months. While I'm still talking, how do you know my name?"
"I have been in and out of Ponyville many times twilight, I have seen your many feats. Back to the matter at hand, my sisters worry about me, I guess it's time to stop running from my past. Vinyl, Thank you for keeping my identity a secret for so long and as for you Trixie, I will be returning back to Ponyville after this is over. you are more than welcome to stay with me until you decide to do travelling magic shows again" after they had resolved the issue, Digistar gave has farewells and left
The mane six headed back to Ponyville with the others. Well, except Trixie
"Are you not coming, Trixie?" Twilight has asked the blue unicorn
"No, no I am not.I have made too many enemies there, I would prefer to stay here, I might visit now that our past has been resolved" Trixie answered
Twilight, shocked hearing her not say she was great and powerful had said goodbye and headed to Ponyville
Meanwhile in Canterlot Celestia was stood on her balcony waiting for a corrupt Digistar to arrive, but instead was greeted by a cloaked individual who was standing in plain sight at the gates. waiting for someone, very curious she went down to investigate to find that her curiosity was right. Stood there was her brother with the master sword sheathed levitating in front of him.
"You, I should have known you would return" Celestia rather angrily replied
"Hello sister, I'm not here for a battle. I just want to return to sword and the ocarina so I can return to your student, I just want to correct my past and make friends." Digistar has said very apologetic
"Well, its good to see you weren't corrupt but you do know that returning to Ponyville will be no option at the moment. Right?" Celestia said
"Why not, I've corrected my past and found my own destiny, the Alicorn of ice. I don't want to live with the guilt of my sister's death any-more" Digistar replied now crying
"But, you don't it wasn't your fault that she couldn't handle the power of becoming the Alicorn of fire and became another star in Luna's sky" Celestia very kindly replied
"So, does this mean I have to be banished? Or do I just fulfil my duties as the Alicorn of ice. I'm no all powerful being, I'm just a lost soul in a giant field" Digistar asked
"No, I'm not going to banish you, instead I'm giving you three choices, I send you back in time before this ever happened, I clear your name and you can visit me and Luna whenever you want but become one of Equestria's eternal protectors or you can become a prince but only leave Canterlot on royal duties." Celestia said in a calm tone
"I'll take option two, I made some promises I don't intend on breaking, I'll visit tomorrow. oh and thank you Celestia, its nice to know even after what I did, you two can forgive me."
"Well, if you're leaving then I guess you'll want this" Celestia said while handing her brother a sword
"My sword? You kept it after I left it in the temple" Digistar asked
"Actually Luna kept it, she said that one of us would give it to you if you returned and that it reminded her that you will always be her little snowwy" Celestia said while getting ready to leave
In the morning Digistar had finally arrived back at Ponyville where he was greeted soon after by Twilight and her friends, Trixie had shown up too
"So, is everything okay with you and your sisters, Digi?" Trixie asked
"yes everything is great, I'm able to live in the forest as long as whenever there is danger, I go help with it, right now my quest is to fulfil a earth ponies dying wish, bring his loved one back from the dead" Digistar replied
