A Glitch in the Universe

When Twilight and Spike had gotten hope to their library, it was just as Spike had said, ruined. There were only bits of the magnificent tree left, and of course, those pieces were levitating upside down. Manticores, Griffins, ponies, just about every THING in the world was loose, and running about in Ponyville. Tears welled up in Twilight Sparkle's eyes.

"Everything... it's gone!" She sobbed. Where would they live? What would she read? What would anypony else read for that matter? More thoughts whizzed around the purple mare and consumed her brain. "AND WHO IS RESPONSIBLE?!" She thought aloud, angrily. "Twilight, what are we gonna do?" Spike asked worriedly. "I don't know Spike," She replied.

"TWILIIIIIGHT!" Twilight turned her head to see Ranibow Dash flying towards her, rather, falling. She noticed Dashie had no wings! "Rainbow? What are you doing?" She shouted. Rainbow Dash's wings suddenly returned, lopsided with the left one significantly smaller. She wiggled her legs and hovered in the air for a moment, flew up, and plumited again. "Rainbow Dash? Are you alright?" Twilight asked running to her friend. "Yeah, I'm alright I guess." she assured, standing up. "What's up with everypony today? Everything is just horrible! AJ's farm is about to go out of business, my home is gone,and now-" "YOU CALL THOSE PROBLEMS TWI? I  HAVE A TRY OUT AS A REPLACEMENT FOR THE WONDERBOLTS UNTIL SPITFIRE'S WING IS HEALED! HOW CAN I FLY WITH NO WINGS? Or... miss matched wings, wait," Rainbow's wings were disappearing again. "We need to find out what's going on around here fast, if we three are having problems, I'm sure Pinkie, Fluttershy, and Rarity are too."

Twilight and Rainbow Dash walked to Sugar Cube Corner, Rainbow complaining about her wings and the Wonderbolts the whole way. "Well everything looks fine around here," Twilight murmured taking a look around. "nothing's destroyed." The blue pegasi stood up straight as an arrow. "Hear that Twilight? This is wrong, this is all wrong." she whispered. "Huh? What are you talking about? I don't hear anything." Twilight replied with a puzzled look. "Right, you hear silence Twilight. We're talkin' about Pinkie Pie here, there's no balloons, no music, no lights, just dark silence." Then they both saw alight on the top floor turn on, Pinkie looked through a curtain, and then ran down stairs to let her friends in. "So Pinkie Pie, any uh, disasters happen lately?" Rainbow Dash asked curiously. No response. They all sat in silence for a moment. "Pinkie, anything bad happen around here?" Rainbow asked. No response. "HEY PINK!" Rainbow shouted, waking up not only all of Ponyville but probably Princess Celestia as well. "HAS ANY MAJOR CATASTROPHE HAPPENED TO YOU IN THE LAST DAY OR TWO?" Pinkie's hair deflated as she turned around. She was silently sobbing. She opened her mouth and mouthed the words "I can't talk guys." Twilight was puzzled. "What the hay... why is everypony..." she was in deep thought. She'd seen a hand full of other ponies on her way home and to Sugar Cube corner, so why was this only happening to them?

Spike belched out a letter that could only be from Twilight's mentor, Princess Celestia. She took it immediatly. "Twilight, come  to Canterlot as soon as you can. Bring your friends." The writing was sloppy and must have been written in a hurry. "Come on guys, we need to get Fluttershy, Rarity, and Applejack."
