Author Note: I tried a new strategy of writing this. It should be a lot better than my other ones. Leave criticism please.
My name is Snowcap. I’ve been in Ponyville longer than anyone. I am 83 years old and barely living. I’m writing this story with no legs, but my hands and arms are perfectly fine. I’ve been an undercover cop for as long as I can remember. I loved my job, but I loved my wife more. But, she’s dead. I lost my beautiful wife, and my job, all from the one incident. I was 32 when it happened, and I’ll write the whole tale.
Chapter one: My name is Snowcap.
It was a beautiful night, filled with the sounds of crickets and leaves scraping against the concrete. It was about 8:30 when I was out, on my way to work. I worked the night shift as a cop and I loved it. I loved my job, I truly did, but not as much as my wife, Fluttershy. She was beautiful. I always felt warm inside whenever I was around her. I felt comfortable whenever that sunshine yellow coat walked into the room. It brought a smile to my face when her silky pink mane flew around her head.
“Hey Snowcap! Want a ride?” My best friend, Black bone yelled next to me, interrupting my daydreaming. He was in his regular police car. Ford Impala, blue, black, and white all around it. He was lucky he had such a nice car. Mine was a big old hunk of metal. A tank as all my friends referred it to. I agreed, the 120 Inch tank really scared the criminals, but it was really old. “Uhh… Sure! I’ll ride with ya’!” I yelled, walking towards the passenger side of the car. “So, you hoping we going to’ get promoted today?” “Well of course I am. I’ve been dreaming of it for god knows how long. Shit, if I do, I’ll throw a party for Christ sakes.” I responded.
“Wow that would be cool.” We turned into the parking lot, right next to my tank. I slowly got out of the Impala, Stepping on a piece of glass with my right hoof. “Damn hoods.” I mumbled to myself. “What?” Black bone asked. “Nothing. Anyways, thanks for the ride!” “No problem, any day.” We both walked towards the front door, but our boss greeted us before we reached it. “Hey boys! I see you are looking’ fine today! Snowcap, looking’ fit as a fiddle I see today! C’mon’ in fellas’!” Whoa, He’s never, ever been that nice to me in my life. I don’t even think he’s been that nice to his wife. There had to be something up. “Uhh…thanks Mr. Gray” I slightly stuttered, walking through the front door. Something was up, and I had to figure it out. “Here, why don’t you follow me to my office!” Well, now he was acting a bit too much like Pinkie Pie.
“Black bone, why don’t you go work at the front, okay?” My boss said, with a very creepy grin. “Uhh… Okay Mr. Gray” He then walked off and turned the corner to the front desks. “Come, sit Mr. Snowcap.” I sat down and listened. “Mr. Snowcap, I…I need you to do something very important.” I froze. This wasn’t going to be good. “I need you…” He sighed. “I need you to go to this location. Just drive there and… I’ll tell you what to do otherwise.” He handed me a piece of paper marked, 64931 Blue-Green RD. “Sure thing mister Gray. I’ll be on my way.” I trotted out of the room, seeming okay with this. I wasn’t. Something was bad and he wanted me to do it.
I hopped into my giant tank, stepping up the stairs. I started the loud engine. My seat rumbling as the tanks engine rumbled and rumbled. I put it into reverse and drove out of the police station. I drove and drove all the way to Blue-Green road. As soon as I arrived, I called Mr. Gray. “Hello?” “Yea, its Snowcap, I’m at the location.” “Okay. I need you to go to the back of your truck.” “Uhh… back of my truck?” “Yea. The code pad on the back. Open up the back taillight and type in 254389666. Got it?” I walked to the back, removing the taillight as told to do so. There was a code pad, wow. I typed in the code.
“Snowcap?” I was to busy staring at the back of my truck. The whole entire fucking back of the truck lifted, and there were guns every where. Guns on the wall, floor, and the ceiling. “SNOWCAP!” “W…y…YES SIR!” “Okay. Grab one of the guns and head inside room 361A. Got it?” He said with a stern voice. “Yes sir.” “I will instruct you otherwise.” I headed into the building. I trotted up the stairs, fully loaded assault rifle loaded for whatever was about to come. I was staring at my reflection in the shiny doorknobs as I was walking through the hallway.
My midnight blue coat with my pure white mane. I didn’t realize how sexy I really looked. All of a sudden, a piercing scream came from further in front of me. I froze completely. I aimed down the M4, ready for the unexpected. Whatever my boss lead me into, it wasn’t good. My phone was vibrating. “Hello?” “Snowcap, you at the room?” “Yes sir. I heard some screams.” “That’s not important. Approach the room, and make sure you have an itchy trigger finger. The unexpected could be lethal.” “But sir… What am I getting into?” “Just neutralize the target. If you do, I’ll promote you.” Promote me. Promote me. He was going to promote me! I had to this. “YES SIR!” I yelled, kicking down the door. What was there almost made me start balling.
