//-------------------------------------------------------// A Torrential Change -by PyroDash888- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Awoken //-------------------------------------------------------// Awoken Do you know how it feels to wake up, just to feel not-you, total different? Well, how about I start at the beginning of my new life, or at least at the morning everything I thought was normal changed drastically. Maybe, before I am going to tell you stories of epic scale, I need to clear up a few things. I was a quite normal 17-year old boy, with the unusual name of Josua, or better Jay, living in a fairly normal German family. Today was a free day for me, also since my family decided to do a little trip. As I wanted to do some recording, I remained at home. Probably this was for the best. I awoke from sun rays touching me and warming my face. Somehow, though either the bed had grown bigger overnight, or I had shrank. But that, however, was not realized by me at all. With a loud yawn I stretched myself. Huh? Did I catch a cold? That would be absolutely sub-optimal for my attempt to record my song today. I cleared my throat and tried to sing "Come on everypony, smile, smile, smiilee!" My room was filled with a beautiful, but nevertheless slightly scratchy voice. Though that voice was not mine, not even with a cold. No, it was for sure a female voice, albeit not too high pitched. Now that my curiosity was peaked, I shoved away my blanket and took a look at my body. Dark blue fur covered my whole being. A yellow tail with a red rim shaped like a flame adorned my behind. My legs ended in hooves and so did my arms, now forelegs, I guess. "Oh gosh, oh gosh, oh gosh! What the hay happened to me... and how?! Ahgh, this voice... so strange!" I rolled around and felt a foreign limb moving, other than the new tail. Wings, on each side of my shoulder blades. When I blew away a yellow strand of mane with red lining out of my eyes, I realized who I were. Torrent, Torrent Sky, my OC-pony. Carefully I moved to the edge of the bed and softly planted my hooves on the ground. Damn, this may take time to get used to, not to talk about the now female parts... Quickly I shook my head letting my mane dance on top of my head and on the left side of my neck. Too soon, it was too soon to be thinking about the gender change, other things have a much higher priority. Trying to walk on all fours, hooves nonetheless, for instance. From the crouching pose I was in at the moment, I pushed myself up spreading my weight, which was a lot less than before, onto the four wobbly legs. As soon as I got the hang of the balance, I decided to do a cautious step forward. Perfect. And the next one...but which? I got four of them now. After a good time of thinking about my next movements, I figured to go with the opposite leg afterward. Marvelous. And now the same with the other pair. Awesome. It worked without me having to faceplant. Once I found out how to turn and other motions I pulled the door open with my nose. Of course I was extremely curious how exactly I would look like, so I went straight to the full body mirror in my mother's room. Dang, was I pretty! Really gotta admit that. Emerald green eyes stared back at me as if piercing right through my soul. Since Torrent was very athletic, her muscles were quite visible and really impressive. Still her body was rather curvy and fragile looking, especially for a tomcolt. Well, now my body, huh? I could have gotten worse, I guess. I still continued to admire myself wriggling my... flank with Torrent's...my cutie mark, a water drop on fire. Aww, yeah that flank is totally hot... “What in Luna's name did I just think?!” Just that I'd be attractive for every stallion... “What the buck, brain?! By Celestia's name, stop that!” Split personalities? Check. Other personality being overly bragging, not only about the look? Check. Other personality extremely into attracting stallions? Double check. I facehooved. Calm down, Torrent, calm down. Did I just call myself “Torrent”? Yes, yes I did. Goodness grief, where will this lead to? Don't think about it, Torrent. Go and get yourself some breakfast. That was, indeed, a neat idea, for my tummy started rumbling quite a bit. I turned away from my reflection and stepped with clacking hooves into the kitchen. Though what should I eat? An apple? No, too stereotypical. So I went with bland oatmeal, that luckily was within my area of reach. I took a hoof-full and stuffed it in my mouth. Good gracious, this was great! Only a bit dry, though. So I poured it with some milk into a bowl and gulped it down in one go. Now my taste buds had the time to tell me, this combination tasted astonishing. To round it up, I fetched myself an orange. When I bit into it, the juices spilled into my mouth. Oh Celestia! This was THE most awesome thing I ever ate “I'm ready for whatever life throws at me!” This turned out to be the worst and the best thing I have ever said. After one hour of testing, if my former talents still work with this body, mostly failed at everything but music, I thought about learning to fly. But first I have to take a look on the internet. If I should be the only pony in the whole world, imagine how lonely I must be. Very soon, I realized that hooves were not made to use a computer keyboard, not even wings. So I took a pencil to my mouth and typed in. When I found what I've been looking for, I almost squee'd. There were other ponies like me! And their meeting point was in New York... I frowned. How the hay am I supposed to get over there? It would be more than strange to enter an airplane as a pony, a pegasus nonetheless. Pegasus! Now I got it! I'm gonna fly over there, rest on clouds and all the stuff. But I sure had to train first, so I shut down my computer, not before telling my twitter-followers and my parents not to worry about me, and headed outside. I figured the field in between the two buildings, the one I lived in and the next one, were perfect for practice. As soon as I could unfurl the wings, I started to stare at them. It couldn't be too hard, could it? How wrong I was, I felt in my head and flank a few minutes later. Hovering wasn't hard, but as soon as it went to actual flying, I terribly lost balance everytime. “Oh, Torrent, help me!” I took off again, but this time suddenly, I felt, like if somepony was correcting my wing angle and pretty much everything else needed for flight. I flew! Out of all the joy I felt, I did a looping and then hovered in midair. However I couldn't dwell for long in the feelings of flight as a hit against my flank shook me out of thoughts. Slowly I descended down to inspect whatever caused the pain. Meanwhile I started to feel dizzy. I landed and took a look at my flank. What poked out of it was a dart. One of those kinds which are used in tranquilizer guns for animals. “Oh horseapples!” Already beginning to feel lightheaded I turned around to face a man wielding a tranq-gun and smirking evilly. “Pony scum! You'll get what you deser...” The rest I didn't hear anymore, for I was already gone... The dreamless slumber ended with a start and my senses came back to me one by one. Rubbing my head, the ache in it slowly diminished. Then I took in my surroundings. I lay against a tree stump in a very small grassy field. Around this field, there was some kind of river, that completely sealed me off of what was behind it. And when I noticed what was behind it, I nearly screamed. It was an animal compound. “What the buck!?” , would I have said, nut my mouth wouldn't open. I looked at my muzzle cross-eyed, what I saw there shocked me to the maximum. My muzzle was tied and so were my wings. An evil maniacal laughter  resounded from behind that railing. A man in his mid-fourties stood there and smiled upon me. Not a happy smile, nor a “I'm so sorry” smile. It was a real devilish smile. “I was bothered by the fact, that a simple animal could talk. Also we didn't have any of your kind here yet, so I decided to get one.” He spoke with a voice that could freeze the eternal magma ponds of hell itself. He spit to the ground. “Welcome to the Columbus Zoo, pony!” //-------------------------------------------------------// Befriended //-------------------------------------------------------// Befriended My mind raced. Columbus? Wasn't that in Ohio, in the US? After another laughing fit, the man jeered. “Well, isn't this surprising? Haha! I love your face being all puzzled. But now we'll get you ready for work.” My eyes widened and my ears laid back on reflex. “What? Did you honestly think that, just because you're in a zoo means you will have a good life?!” Once again this horrible laughing ”No! We will show the world that the only thing you lot are good for, is as slaves...” He pondered. “No... 'slave' sounds so... human, can't forget you're an animal. So work horse would be more accurate.” I didn't notice that in the meanwhile another man and a woman had neared themselves to me. Swiftly the man grabbed me and hold me tight, while the woman untied the muzzle bandage. But only to replace it by a bridle with bit, that the woman now forced into my mouth. It tasted terribly , but that was not my most important worry. The woman pulled the straps on the bridle so hard, that I screamed in pain. I could feel the obvious enjoyment that the woman had in hearing me cry. A few seconds later the pain ebbed away. The women, roughly slipped a leather strap into the bridle and pulled at it. A sharp pain emitted from my flank as a whip slashed through the air, hitting me of course. “Follow your orders and you won't be punished as much!” Her voice sounded like dark and threatening. So I followed her lead to wherever she tugged me to. I will, however, spare you all with the grisly details of the work I had to do. Let's just say, I was literally beaten up. Blood strained my fur everywhere, some even dripped into my eyes. My sides hurt from various kicks they gave me, my flanks were covered in streams of the red-life-liquid. It was not a beautiful sight. After they brought me back to the compound, they stood outside for a while and talked. “I don't think she'll survive another day like this.” The man expressed his... concerns? “What's the matter? Are you afraid to kill it?” The woman inquired with her extremely cliché dark and sinister voice. “No, Lin, but...actually...yes. I am afraid to take her life away.” I heard a slap. “Pull yourself together! You have to realize, this one here is nothing more than a stupid animal. We use animals to work for us, heck, we even eat 'em” Eat...? First  they'll kill me and then eat me? Obviously the man had the same thoughts. “Eat?! Are you right in your mind?!” He yelled. “Calm down, Orin. It would be a waste of biological material if you simply throw that meat away.” Lin just stated coldly. “You know she was a human being once!?” “Not anymore” “You're sick!” He shouted. “You're totally mad! That's it! I'm outta here!” A barely audible clicking sound told me a gun had been pulled out. “You're not going anywhere!” The last thing what I heard of them both was Lin stowing Orin away in one of the cages next to my compound. I lay down in the grass and softly began crying. All this was too much for me. All the pain, all the humiliation. And now even the threat of losing my life. The life I just today started to begin living. Somehow, it has always been my dream to become a pony. Just the next day, after it finally happens I'm supposed to die? This wasn't fair, it simply wasn't. But what could, I, the small, little, lonely pony do against such a monster? With these thoughts I slipped into another dreamless, comatose sleep. I was woken very carefully by something, or someone shaking me softly. Surprised I opened my eyes. A foreign human face stared down on me. I growled, as much as a pony can do. The boy, maybe just fifteen or sixteen, simply smiled and reached me a hand. Puzzled I set my hoof into it and he pulled me on all fours. It was still dark outside, so I wanted to ask him why he woke me, but I still had the bridle on. As if he forgot something and just remembered again, he quickly removed the painful tack. “Here you go” He whispered with a voice sounding quite soft and soothing and those few words relaxed me. “Thanks. Who are you?” I asked him with a pained sounding voice, a voice I had not yet the time to grow accustomed to. Especially the fact that I was female now. This should take a while getting used to. Female... not anything else. Female. That meant, if I wasn't going to return back human... I could get... pregnant... No, don't think about that now. “My name's Noah, I'm here to get you outta here. And your name?” He set a hand on my withers to steady me. “I'm Torrent Sky... No...Yes...No...Yes, yes I am.” He petted my mane. “I know what you're going through at the moment. Not personally though, but, you know what I mean, I know some other ponies. Now let's go.” One moment later he carried me out of the compound. That was when I remembered something, better someone. “Wait, Noah! There's still someone left here.” Noah set me down on the ground again. It felt a bit disgracing being carried around like a little baby. "Over here." I stopped at the cage next to "my"  compound. "Can you get it open like you did with mine?" He shook his head. "I had stolen only your key. Nothing else." He apologized. "Well, then we have to do it the unconventional way." Noah looked at me as if I were crazy. "You're injured, Torrent." I sucked in some air through my teeth. "I know that, thank you!" I turned around so that my behind faced the cage door. "Torrent!" A warning voice sounded like from far away. Ignoring it I aimed and then bucked the door with all my might. Such a strong force teared the door out of its hinges. The retaliation slowly flowed through my hind hooves, then my hind legs and into my flanks, where it exploded into grievous pain. My face connected with the ground as my hind legs buckled. Carefully standing up again I faced an extremely angered Noah. "I said you were injured! In your state you are nowhere able to do such a thing. You can speak of luck that you are still standing." I just shrugged as a respond and staggered into the cage. On the ground lay a human fast asleep. I shook him. "C'mon, Orin! Wakey, wakey!" The man opened his eyes and immediately widened them as he caught sight of me. "You? Pony?" He stuttered. With extreme care I softly grabbed his arm with my teeth and pulled him up. "Wwee down't hawe muwch time." I mumbled with his arm still in my mouth. After I let go of him and he spotted Noah, Orin wanted to ask something, but I hushed him with my hoof. "Talk later, now we better run. We have caused enough ruckus to wake up a marmot." I stumbled outside the cage and headed towards Noah, who would be leading us. He stared at me and decided, "No way, you could walk all the way on your own. I will carry you, Torrent, no matter what you think of it." Reluctantly I nodded and walk-tumbled to him, where he took me into his warm and admittedly comfortable arm. From there I indeed had the point of view back, I was used to. Being over 6'3 tall and now reduced to little more than the half of that size, was not something I regretted somehow. But from that viewpoint I could eye Orin quite well. A few minutes after we had successfully left the zoo unseen and now wandered along the streets of Columbus, my very sensitive eyes picked up a glistening in his. Tears. Orin was crying. Another point to talk about after we reached... wherever we went to. Noah, on the contrary, seemed to radiate happiness and often nuzzled my face. A soft wind blew through my mane and let it and my tail flow just like a current. Although it both were strained with blood, I had to confess, it looked beautiful. In the wind the colors of both molded and combine so it looked like a real flame that burned on a calm ocean. This image really fitted to my cutie mark, a water drop that burned. And even though I just went through a marathon of pain, I was content. It could have been Torrent's mind that calmed me, but it also could have been a realization, that I was safe now. About five minutes later Noah entered a house. Its interior looked pretty classic to me. A sofa, television, a big dining table in the kitchen. On the side of the living room a staircase led upwards, probably to the bedrooms. Noah softly laid me on the sofa and called to the staircase. "Sun! Come down here. We got an injured pony." Steps could be heard from the stairs and a flash of bright color swished past me, yelling. "Pony?! Where?!" Noah chuckled and pointed to me. "Sun Streak, this is Torrent Sky." Now it was my turn to laugh. "Sun Streak? That name totally fits you!" "Of course it does. Now you said you were injured?" Then she eyed me in complete and noticed my status. "By Celestia! What have they done to you? Such a beautiful body almost destroyed by those brutes!" I felt blood flushing into my cheeks giving them a slight red hue, even through my fur. Sun Streak moved closer to me and inspected my flank. "Gosh... grisly! Luckily for you I got some magical medication kits. It makes it heal much faster and does not leave any scars behind." While Sun was treating my wounds, I turned my view to Orin, who was cared for by Noah. He looked miserably and had started crying again when Sun came down the stairs. Right now Noah seemed to give him an inspirational speech, because only minutes after he ended Orin stood, walked over to me and knelt in front of the sofa. "T...Torrent?" He timidly asked. I nodded. "I... I have to tell you something." He took my hoof with both shaking hands, that reminded me, by the way, I had no anymore, and looked straight down beneath my eyes. He was afraid to face me directly, for sure. "Torrent... I'm... I'm so, so sorry. The way I hit you over there... I deserve a severe punishment and I'd understand if you'd punish me." With wide, shocked eyes I stared at him. "Punish you? What for? For helping that... woman... and then turning against her?" "Yes. I didn't deserve to have been rescued by you. I am a pony hater..." He was interrupted by a hoof connecting with his cheek. “Stop it, Orin! I didn't rescue you, so that you can whine about not being worthy to be rescued! That is pathetic!” I yelled. “Saying that you're sorry was a fine and nice gesture. But you can shove your self-pity up your plot...er ass!” Deeply shocked by that outburst of mine Orin retreated a bit. “You know, she's right.” Sun commented. “Before I... you know, became a pony and all, I dwelled in self-pity as well. I'm so much happier now, see?” She bounced a bit up and down and reminded me of Pinkie Pie. She giggled. “Being a pony is not that bad as the media makes it seem, so...” That reminded me of something. “Hey, Sun, you do know the Princesses have called the ponies to New York City?” “Just the 'important' ones.” She made quite the impressive imitation of the quotation marks with hooves. I stretched a forehoof into the air. “Then let's go to New York, because we are obviously important!” Not had I noticed Noah sit beside me, but now I felt him petting me and drawing a hand through my supposedly soft and silky fur and mane. “I have a better idea. How about we take some rest first. Especially for you Torrent, this was a really hard day. We'll see about tomorrow.” Then Noah added “You gotta take a shower tomorrow morning, Torry.” I began giggling uncontrollably. “Of course, N.” Noah showed Orin the bedroom upstairs while Sun Streak and I made ourselves comfortable on the sofa. Some time later Noah came back downstairs and sat beside me again to pet me one more time. “Could... could you... maybe... sleep here... with us?” I asked timidly. My host smiled gently. “Sure, if you want to.” Noah lied down next to me and I gave him the bigger part of the blanket. As all the adrenaline started disappearing, the pain and most of all the fatigue made itself shown again. It took only minutes for me to completely fall asleep. //-------------------------------------------------------// Remembered //-------------------------------------------------------// Remembered A/N: Sorry to you all for this horrible delay. I became ill and was totally not in the mood of writing at all. Additionally I have the task to create music for two albums at least. And if this wasn't enough, I had, and still have, a bunch of important exams till Christmas and afterwards. Thank you all for your patience. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ I woke up to a series of pokes, urging me to open my eyes. When I did, it was just to stare back at myself. Or more accurately, the real Torrent. "Jay, right? Cool." She said briskly. I stared at her with an expression of curiosity, which might have looked kind of odd. Two ponies looking the exact same staring at each other. After a while I broke the silence. "What am I doing here?" I wanted to know. "This here is the dreamland, of sorts. Sounds lame, I know, but who cares..." She said dismissively. "It's the only place where we can meet until we totally fuse." "Fuse? What does that mean?" I asked, more than a little spooked by the phrase. "I'm sure you already noticed some strange behavior patterns." She said, not meeting my gaze. I nodded. "Well, when we fuse, that will mean to you... that you will become more like me, maybe even completely me, depending on the situation." She felt another question incoming, but waved it off. "C'mon, since you represent my coolness out there, you gotta know some tricks. To show them who's boss!" I hesitated. Doubtful I was, for sure. As well as suspicious of her sudden deflection. "Isn't 'boss' a bit far fetched?" Laughing she shook her head. "Not in the slightest. There is only one pony who can beat me, and always beat me," She bragged, perhaps a bit overstating. "And that is nopony other than Rainbow Dash. Ever since flight school l, she beat me in every single race. Even when she had been sick." The mention of the element of loyalty removed all my suspicious and doubts and replaced them with awe. "You...I know Rainbow Dash?" Her head bounced up and down in a rhythm far too fast for me to believe it was possible, but hey... I'm a pony, so... "Of course I... we know her. In flight school we were in the same class. You should have access to my memories, so just look it up." It was true, all of it. First of all, I had access to Torrent's memories, which slowly became mine. Secondly I looked up all "little filly memories" Torrent had. Torrent gave me a memory to look at. Three fillies were seen on it, on the left, Rainbow Dash, on the right, another filly, that I recognized at Dirty Bass, or just DB, and in the middle, Torrent, grinning widely and having wrapped her wings around her two new friends. With a tear in my eyes, I remembered the day we had to separate soon afterwards. My parents decided to move out of Cloudsdale and to the ground, to a small village named Vergetown on the top of a cliff aptly named "The Verge". A nice village with not more than two hundered ponies inhabiting it. Only two families there were pegasi, mine and the family of my only friend in that town, a filly named Aqua Flash, who wasn't as into flying around as I was. Oww... my head. Too many foreign memories invading my brain. The weirdest thing was, they even made sense, like if they actually were mine. Torrent's ever consisting smile faltered and she actually frowned. “I'm sorry, Jay. I'm sorry that I pulled you into this mess.” I dried her eyes with my wingtips and embraced her in a warm and well-meant hug. “You don't have to be sorry. To be honest, I'm kinda enjoying your body so far.” I blushed and she laughed at my embarrassment. "I didn't mean..." I start. "Listen, no need to talk about it, but we are becoming the same person so I'm not going to be freaked out if you get a life. Or a stallion." She said with a smirk. I wasn't sure what to say but she wasn't done with her instructions. "But no fillies, like at all! Friends are okay, but I don't want to see my name ruined as a fillyfooler." I just stared at her in surprise at her ramblings. "You act like you don't care about being extinguished." I decided to point out. "Ah, I won't die, if you fear that. I'll merge with you and be you at the same time as you are being me. There will be no you and me later, it will be a we and then an I. We will be one entity." My head totally spun out of confusion and that was something very new for me. "Yeah, I know, too much egghead talk as Rainbow would say." She said. Something was bothering me and I knew I had to get an answer. "Torrent? I want to ask you something very direct. Are you as intelligent as I am?" She was completely taken aback and sighed loudly. "I hoped you would just want to know about how awesome I am." Again another sigh. "Listen, don't go around telling everypony, but I've got a degree." Once more she sighed. "I... I went to Cloudsdale University and got an associates degree in weather control... there I said it, I'm a major egghead. Rainbow would have a field day. " I responded with a hearty laugh. "To be honest, I was worried that there would be a mismatch in our intelligence and it'd cause problems." She waved with her hoof. "A change of dimensions like this would not have been possible, if I were too different from you." Then she grabbed me tight on my withers. "Please. Don't tell anypony I have a degree. I'd lose all of my coolness and reputation. Please!" She begged. "Okay." I replied hesitantly. "But I don't think being a educated is something to be ashamed of." Torrent shook me once again. "That may be so, but I don't want to be known as an egghead to my friends. I am an awesome flyer and racer." I nodded and hugged her. "Care to tell me more about my history?" I asked as I embraced her. She shrugged and brought up another memory in which I, as a little filly, stood proudly pointing at my cutie mark, the waterdrop surrounded by flames. "I'm starting to remember..." As if a dark cloud lifted itself from my mind, Torrent's memories flooded into my brain. My family had just moved to Vergetown, when the mayor came by and greeted us. After the formalities were exchanged the mayor informed us how glad he was, that this town got another pegasus family. He told us that the last weatherpony had passed away shortly before our arrival, so he asked us if any of our family could take his place. Sadly my parents and my big sister had to shake their head. The mayor had been ready to leave when I decided on a whim that I could try my wings at it. "I'll do it, sir!" He had been surprised, but weather ponies often started young, so he asked me if I had any experience. I used my grades in basic weather control to convince him to give me a shot. Soon I was one of Equestria's youngest official weather team leaders. The first days were rather relaxing for me since I was the only weather pony, but soon enough a huge storm came over from the sea. All I could do was to warn the ponies to stay at home while I fought the storm to wear it down. That was when I spotted a little filly on the town square, too scared to move. When I approached her, I felt something strange behind me. Immediately I recognized that feeling as the electric building up to create a bolt of lightning. There wasn't anything around for it to hit but the filly. Without thinking I flew right in front of her and the lightning struck me instead. The lightning hit me and I acted as a lightening rod, my wings fanning the burst of energy out into the air around me. Wide eyed the filly just stared at me, even after I had recovered and delivered her to her parents. Not until my parents pointed it out to me, did I realize I had gained my cutie mark. As in the words of my friend Noble Rambling, "This mark represents the passion you had in saving this little filly, that you even risked you own life for the sake of her's" //-------------------------------------------------------// Regrouped (End of Prologue) //-------------------------------------------------------// Regrouped (End of Prologue) What really teared me out sleep was not the slight pressure on my flank, but the sudden wetness surrounding my cutie mark. I turned my head back to look at the foreign black stallion whose head layed on my flank, a stream of drool dripping out of his mouth. No matter how cute that looked, the drool was disgusting. So I shook him awake. "Your brain has liquified again, dear." The stallion awoke with a start. "Huh? What?" Then he noticed he had been lying on my flank and blushed so red that even a strawberry would be jealous. "Uhh... you... your flank... it... uhh... it is quite... comfortable..." He stuttered totally embarrassed. Then he crossed his eyes. "What's that thing in front of my eyes?" He put a hoof to his nose, then almost shrieked. "Hoof?! Torrent, am I a pony?!" I laughed at his obliviousness. "Yea, you are, Noah.  And you are totally c..." ...ute... ‘Brain! Stop it! I don't have time for all this hormone stuff...’ "And I am what?" He asked again. "A...and you are totally... c...cool" , I stammered. This time around he laughed at me, but then soon silenced when he tried to stand on the ground. Now I had the time to take in all his features. His coat was black, but to create a big contrast his mane and tail were a beautiful mix of yellow and blue. A galaxy shaped cutie mark adorned his flank, which I found to be eyeing a litle bit too much for my taste. His overall build was rather lean, but still quite muscular, more than I, that's for sure. Another thing I noticed was a pair of wings folded against his sides. Then my eyes wandered to his glorious blue eyes, that shone like pure sapphire. He raised an eyebrow as soon as he realized I was staring at him. "You found something you like...?" He teased me with his stupid sexy voice... "You're good..." I said grimly succsessfully putting my feelings aside. "How did you do that with your voice?" "Do what?" He blinked. He seemed totally unknowing of what he had done, although...Maybe he didn't do anything with his voice. I shook mentally at that thought. It simply couldn't be me, no, nope, nada, never! I once again eyed the stallion... "I know you. You're Solar Chaser. My latest friend. You came to Ponyville about one month ago." Noah gripped his head with his hooves. "Ooww... remembering hurts... but these sure are good memories we have together. All that fun. Especially when you caused the fun... ahhrrggh, my brain. These memories are a real pain to get. And these memories say that you are the funniest pony I ever met." He was interrupted by a groaning pony. "Hey, lovebirds when you're finished I wanna sleep again." Sun Streak was terribly annoyed and tired. Figures that she was angry at us. Wait, what had she called us? Lovebirds? My cheeks burned with embarrassment as I protested. "We're not lovers... It just turned out, we know each other, at least our pony-selves do." Sun Streak wrinkled her nose. "You can't hide the language of the body, Torrent. It is so obvious that you want to be more than friends with him." "Stop it!" I yelled. "I'm a cool racer pegasus, I don't know of feelings such as love." Had I looked back to Solar at this moment, I would have seen a disappointed face. Sun Streak apparently didn't notice as well. "Okay, girls... stop the fuss now. Torrent, let Sun sleep and get yourself ready." Noah, now Solar commanded. With a casual "Roger!" and a salute I went for the bathroom. Of course I hadn't thought about how my new physiology would affect the process of cleaning. But first the pressing challenge of using the toilet. The most difficult task might be actually sitting on a bowl that is three fourths the height of you. I almost surrendered when I spotted a "pony-toilet" in the ground. Naturally I will spare you of the details of leaking when female. The next step in personal hygiene as a pony is... taking a shower. With the whole body furred... and a long mane and tail... Luckily I found some utensils that were perfect for that task, so apparently Sun had made them. With these tools showering was actually quite fun, although I had to use a whole bunch of, to me, unknown shampoo and styling creams. Torrent's mind was really helping, as she explained the function of each tool and shampoo to me. After the procedure of cleaning myself was over, I dried myself with a bunch of towels, then brushed my mane and tail the way I and Torrent liked it most. When I stepped out of the bathroom, my nose picked up an extremely delicious smell coming from the kitchen. I flapped my wings to get some feeling into them. Although these limbs were quite foreign to me, I could move them as if I were born with these babies. Technically I was. Gosh... so confusing. Better not think about it. I followed the smell to the kitchen, where Sun Streak stood at a counter that looked like to be built for children. She had just pulled something out of the stove when she noticed my presence. "You look so much nicer when freshly bathed. How are your wounds?" "What wounds...?" I smiled and gave her a wing hug. "Without you, I'd definitely have some scars." Whispering I added. "And that would not look good on me." Sun grinned. "No it wouldn't. Could have lowered your chances with Solar." In a blitz I separated from her and gave her the evil eye. "Don't start with that again. There was no relationship with Solar in the past and there will be none in the future other than friends." She just shrugged. "If you insist..." She balanced three very tasty smelling plates on her back and made her way to a ponysized table. "Why only three?" I queried. "Orin left this morning, without any trace" She stated as if she had already expected it. Maybe I thought wrong of him. Maybe he still dislikes us, but is not liking the idea of violence. Maybe he told PAPA about us. So many possibilities, but there was one more important question: "So... how the hay are we supposed to get to New York with nobody and only ponies? I mean, ponies can't drive cars, can they?" Apparently Solar picked that part of the conversation up as he said: "Not that I know of. But I have an idea. How about we go looking for another brony, who may help us out?" He sat down on a soft pillow on the ground. "Do you think someone would actually help us?" Sun wondered sceptically with raised eyebrows and tilted head. "Let us find out." He placed a laptop on the table and typed something. "Bingo!" He turned the laptop around and pointed at a facebook-message from a Brony called Tyler. "He'll be here in an hour. Guys, let's pack!" Quickly he finished his meal and went off to his room. I, however, relaxed on the sofa, after I had finished the amazing tasting meal. Few minutes later, Solar and Sun came down with one saddlebag, each. "You are well prepared, hmm?" At that comment Solar blushed and rubbed the back of his head with a hoof. "Yea. I kinda predicted, that I'd become a pony, too, after I found Sun on my doorstep." This, of course got me hooked. "You found Sun on your doorstep?" "Yup. Like a dog in a box. Apparently her ex-husband decided to dispose of her in some way. So why not bringing her to a known-to-be Brony instead of killing or other things. Now, I guess, she has had enough of men, slash, stallions. Am I right?" Sun's head bounced up and down like a bouncy ball. "No stallions for me. I'm gonna be a single!" Of course I didn't watch my own speech. "That is horrible! I'm gonna have a stallion someday." , slipped out of my mouth. "Haven't you told me, that you used to be a guy?" "D...did I?" Sun nodded. Solar's mouth stood agape though. "But...you...Torrent....mare?" He stuttered. I guess, I had to explain it someday. "Yes, Solar... I used to be a guy...but well..." I pointed with my hooves at myself. "I'm a mare now. And I think, I can live with it, although when I look at you, strange feelings overcome me and I don't know what to do with them, but hey, I'll manage." Still Solar stared at me intensely, then he went over to me and, to my utter surprise winghugged me. Feelings I never felt before got the best of me and I completely sunk into his warm embrace. "Don't worry, Torry. If you ever need any help, just tell me. I'll be there for you." That moment every single doubt I had, about being a pony and, especially, being a mare, melted away. A new life was about to begin, it finally had a real meaning. To enjoy it, to live it. This was also the moment when I decided to write everything down, to let others know, how to live as a pegasus mare. //-------------------------------------------------------// Confess already! //-------------------------------------------------------// Confess already! Only few minutes later the doorbell rang. A young human stood there, not more than eighteen years old. He smiled broadly when he saw us. "Gosh... three ponies at once. This will be the best time ever!" He first brohoofed/fist bumped Solar, then bowed and kissed Sun on the hoof and last but not least hugged me. "My name's Tyler, so nice to meet you!" I laughed. "Hold your horses... sorry bad pun..." I chuckled. "My name is Torrent Sky"  "No human name?"  When I shook my head my mane danced at the side of my neck. "Nope. Not anymore... I'm a pony now." He raised his eyebrows. "That's cool with me. Nice name though." He smiled as the other two introduced themselves. "Okidokie. I heard you wanna ride to NY?" Tyler pointed at his car. "Hop on in!" To make the already embarrassing situation between Solar and me worse, Sun took the front seat, while we both had to sit on the back seats. There were special blankets constructed for ponies to lie more comfortably on. Kinda lucky for me, since I had already tried to sit in Lyra's pose. Uncomfortable as hay...er hell... hay sounds better. Anyway, we could sit pretty naturally in there. Now, the conversation I had with Solar, only moments before Tyler had appeared, came to my mind again. Very quickly a blush formed on my cheeks that I wanted to -unsuccessfully- hide. "You know, you look cute when you blush, Torry." Immediately after he realized what he had said, he put a hoof over his muzzle and blushed as well. "S...sorry... I didn't meant to..." Sun Streak looked at us with an expression that clearly told us, "I knew it!". Tyler, however, was totally unaware of the awkward situation in his car. He started the vehicle and drove onto the highway leading south. "We have to head south first; then we'll go east." He let us know. Soon we arrived at a city where would change onto the highway that leads east. But as soon as we tried to pass a certain street, two tanks emerged. One from one side, one from the other blocking the street ahead of us. I scrunched my eyes in an attempt to read the foreign logo on the vehicle. The four bloody looking letters on it caused my blood to freeze. P.A.P.A. Four simple letters that were my everlasting nightmare. "Shit! Duck guys!" Taylor cursed. He drove into a narrow street leading southwards. "Sorry guys. It seems that this scum controls nearly every route to New York. There is only one possible way. We have to go south until we reach the Tennessee and from there take some secret streets to NY. This means I will probably get to know you better, which is absolutely not a bad thing." Slowly my heart rate returned to normal, though Solar still eyed me with worry. "Are you okay, Torry?" He asked after a while. "I'll be fine", I snarled more aggressive then I had wanted to. Solar shuffled closer to me. "We will both survive this, yes? And then we will live a happy and carefree life, okay?" "Okay." I sighed. But then something happened that I hadn’t prepared for. He nuzzled my nose! It was just a friendly nuzzle, sure, but my hormones didn't care. "C...could you stay close to me, please?" I whispered after we passed yet another armored vehicle. Just with a friendly smile he laid his head on my neck while I buried my head in his mane. Its fresh, cool and lovely scent soothed and calmed me. Admittedly I never was this afraid in my life, neither as a human, nor as a pony. While I was in Solar's mane, I had time to think about things. Like, what the hay was wrong with me?! Every time I thought of him, I either felt extremely happy and like on cloud seven, or I felt a desire, a longing. This was totally not normal and there could only be one reason responsible for this... Could it be...? Could it be that I... love him? At this thought my heart started beating furiously. It was wrong to love a stallion, a guy... I am a guy myself... 'Were... you were...' Torrent's mind reminded me. Gosh... why does this have to be so complex? Never mind, if I don't confess, I fear these desires will drive me crazy. I had to, so I stared into the blue pools that were his eyes and started stammering, "Solar... I know we, as humans, don't know each other for too long...b...but I ha...have to tell you some...thing. S...Solar, I... I... I love you!" My inner Torrent cursed. 'Dangit, girl! I never wanted to tell him!' 'So... it's your fault?' 'Yeah, sorta. Ever since he came into Ponyville I had my eyes on him' Despite my mad blushing I managed to keep myself looking at Solar. At first, his mouth became as wide as the Grand Canyon and his eyes were as big as the Pacific Ocean, then his cheeks got red as lava and his facial expression softened. His muzzle slowly reduced its distance to mine. Just a few inches from mine, Solar whispered, "I... I love you, too..." Then our lips touched. Maybe it was because I was a pony now, or the fact that I never kissed as a mare, but this kiss felt super good. Better than anything I have ever felt before. At the same time I also felt relief that all the hiding of my true feelings for Solar for months was over now. I hadn't noticed that Tyler had halted the car and he and Sun were watching us. When Sun suddenly made a quite loud "Aww!" I noticed it, but had too much pleasure to care about it. After few minutes, what seemed like few hours, we both separated looking into each others eyes smiling from ear to ear. Then we just hugged embracing each other as much as possible. "Best day ever!" I shouted gleefully. "This really is the best thing that ever happened in my car." Tyler stated. "I knew it all along!" Sun exclaimed "Yes, Sun, you were right, but I never expected the feelings to be the same for both of us." Solar snuggled me. "That is the same I had thought. Ever since you greeted me, when I had entered Ponyville for the first time." "Glad I told you then, huh? Otherwise we'd be gazing at each others flanks for ages without any success at all." I pondered chuckling. Still tons of unknown hormones flow through my body making me feel delighted and elated. This also reflected in my speech. "I never would have imagined to someday meet the love of my life." Solar raised an eyebrow and chuckled. "Love of your life? My dear Torrent, now you're making up stuff." "Actually, no." I let the response be short and then licked his cheek. "Ehehe, Torrent... stop that, it tickles." Solar laughed our loud. Just to tease him I made a pouty face and complained in a whiny voice. "You don't like my licks? Why?! How could you?" From the margin of my eyes I could see Sun and Tyler's asking faces and rolling eyes. "No, no." Solar tried to wind himself out of this situation, I felt it. "Your liking is fine, but maybe you could do it a bit softer?" "Like this?" My tongue once again touched his cheek, but this time slow enough to actually taste his fur. It tasted just like his mane smelled, fresh, slightly salty. A bit like an ocean, but then again different. Imagine you could taste how the vastness of space, the desire of exploration of any kind, this would be what Solar's fur tasted like. And I loved it. "Gosh, Torrent. You deserve a lick from me for this." Without any further ado he licked my cheek. Gosh, it felt nice! Slightly ticklish, but still nice though. You know those tools with which you can massage your head? It felt exactly that way, just a bit wetter. Gosh...that sounded totally wrong. "Okay, you two, you don't mind if I continue our tour?" Tyler asked. Solar and I answered with a casual "Yeah, yeah" and proceeded to gaze into each others eyes. Time flew by just like a blur and I heard a rumbling in Solar's belly. "Somepony here is really hungry, eh?" Then my belly rumbled too which caused me to blush madly. "Well, I guess, there is also somepony else that has quite the hunger." Solar said winking. Tyler though, sighed. "Okay, guys, I get it. I see what I can do for you." A few minutes later we halted in the parking lot of a restaurant. I was kinda nervous when I saw the amount of cars parked there. "Everything is going to be fine, Torry" Solar reassured me. But we were never prepared for what happened when we entered the restaurant... //-------------------------------------------------------// Note from the Autor: It is over //-------------------------------------------------------// Note from the Autor: It is over Hey guys. I'm really sad to announce this story to be cancelled. A lot of things have happened in the last month or two, one of them so... difficult that it doesn't allow me to continue the story. I had a hard fight with a good friend of mine, whose OC is Solar Chaser, by the way, resulting in him denying further use of his OC in my stories. This would mean, I have to completely rewrite the whole story, but other reasons would work against that. I'm sorry for all who liked this story, despite of it not being really good and original. Why didn't I do this in Author's Notes or in a Journal Post? Because this is the only way how you all get informed of this story's fate. Thank you all for the support I got. BTW: I have one chapter finished, albeit completely unedited nor proofread. If you want to, I might still post it. ~PD888
