~Disclaimer~
My Little Pony and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic are properties that belong to Hasbro Industry, I own nothing, NOTHING, I live in a cardboard box damn it, don't sue my cardboard box or I'll be forced to live in a soup can!!
Bleach is a Japanese series written and illustrated by Tite Kubo and serialized by Weekly Shōnen Jump. References of the characters known as hollows will be mentioned and I own no rights to them. This story will try to be original in its interpretation of hollows but follow the general sense of them. Soul Reapers/Shinigami might be mentioned but as of yet undecided.
This fanfiction was written after the conclusion of Season 2 of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. While it'll keep true to canon as much as possible, any contradicting discontinuity caused by Season 3 and beyond will try to be rectified or omitted but not out of disrespect or neglection, depending on what fits to the current story development to avoid plotholes in itself. Enjoy for what it is and how it tries to be creative in its own sense and thank you for reading and patience in advance.

My Little Pony: Hollow
Part 1
Prologue
"Single column!!!" One of the royal guards would scream out as he belayed the orders , which the other guards would immediately follow as soon as they were bestowed. Side by side, all the pony guards would stand in an open field, Pegasus, unicorn, and earth pony alike, a seemingly unbreakable formation.
Or so it would seem, that is until a lion like paw swooped down and decimated their entire line. With a yell of pain, many of them crumbled, falling to the ground, some didn't seem to get back up, their fate unknown and to remain unclear for whatever seemed to want them destroyed, it attacked once again.
When it did, it was a striking blur, not much could be picked up as to just it attacked. "This is suicide!" one of the guards cried out, his composure of standing his ground barely in one piece which mirrored himself, heavily injured. "Stand your ground." A voice from behind, excelling in confidence and bravery for the troops, as it stepped forward. It was a white unicorn with blue mane.

Looking out the window in a balcony, a pink Alicorn would look out and sigh in a depressed manner. Whatever was in her mind, was sure depressing her as she would look over the horizon.
"Shining Armor..." She'd say in almost a whisper under her breath as she paced back and forth. "We've gone through so much... I know you want to make the world safe for the ones you love... but I will always worry when you go..." saying in a louder manner, but still in the whispering category.
"Miss Cadance..." a pony maid carefully walking in, referring to the pink alicorn by name, "I've brought you tea," saying her defense, pretending not to have heard Cadance's concerned cries to the passing winds of the balcony.
"You don't need to refer me like that, I am married now you know" Cadance would glee with a smile, inching closer to the tea that was set on the table while also inviting the maid to join her; not only as an act of kindness, but also to ease the tension in her heart.

As if an act of Déjà vu from before, the strike of a lion's paw would come forward with the same intensity as before. However this time around, it was repelled by a magical shield from the white unicorn from earlier. It was Shining Armor, stepping forward and dealing with the beast himself. "Stay back!" he would yell out to the other guards, from the evidence of all the other bodies on the floor, it was obvious that only he could stand a chance against this monstrosity.
"My, I take it you're the captain again then, protecting them even though it makes you vulnerable" The beast exclaiming in a taunting manner, the figure that spoke was that of a lion's head; however, all thoughts to the contrary that it was only a lion were immediately removed as of what happened next. "-Too bad that makes him outnumbered" another head would lift up, this time that of the shape of a green dragon; but that wasn't all, another head would lift up as well, looking like a goat, rising up just like the dragon one did. Only this one did not speak, instead chanting, as a magical missile flew out from its horns and straight onto the unicorn.
The strike was rather violent, but Shining Armor's shield stood as he pressed forward with pride. "Is that all you got?" he would taunt at the creature, trying his best to not let the enemy see his sweat.

The tea was rather sweet and the atmosphere pleasant, at least, this was what Cadance would take as an advantage to hide the uneasy feeling she was going through. The maid fooled by this, continued to have a conversation with Cadance about other topics; about her kingdom, how things had progressed, and what an excellent job she had done up to this day.
The servant would then take her leave, taking the dishes with her as Cadance would then continue to lay on the floor sitting on a rug, she thought back of all the adventures they had together ever since she was married, all the wonderful ponies she had met and re-met in her travels, and most of all, her knight in shining armor.

"You got him on the ropes now, Captain!" a guard would yell from behind the side lines. Shining had pushed the foul creature, who's identity if not obvious from before was a Chimera with three heads, right up to a cliff. At that moment, as if a sort of omen, a lightning stroke nearby, setting a tree on fire, as rain began to fall. The field started to get doused with water, everything drenched with the exception of Shining Armor's magical shield, it was so well in tone that it even kept him completely dry and fended off the enemy's attack.
This wasn't without its consequence of course, he had to maintain the shield this strong just to survive this mythical creature's onslaught. If the creature's magical prowess wasn't enough, it stood quite tall and heavy to simply crush a regular pony with its sheer weight by simply leaning on it.
"That's just like Shining, always turning the tide of battle when we need him most" another guard would shout, an older looking pony whom looked like he had seen his share of battles, and by the sound of it, witnesses all of Shining Armor's as well, "the stuff of legends" he'd add on to the previous comment.

Cadance was still reminiscing about times past, for some reason it all seemed like in a sort of flashback in compilation. Most of them being happy memories while neglecting the bad. This would cheer her up as she would stand, shaking her head as her previous earlier thoughts of grief seemed somewhat silly in retrospect. After everything they've been through, there shouldn't be any reason to worry.
She would then hum around a tune while walking around in her room, stepping out in the balcony again as other ponies would greet her from below. It sure was a beautiful day after all.
A soft little knock was then heard at the door. Her first thought was that the maid may have left something behind... but she did take all the dishes with her, did she not? Walking to the door, no further knocks were to be heard as fast galloping from the outside hall could faintly be picked up. Door opening, there was nopony to be seen either, though a letter laid by the entrance. It must have been that grey Pegasus from before, always in such a hurry to deliver the mail and prove she was the best at her job.

The Chimera appeared truly beat as the next steps back would surely spelled its doom. Being high up enough to assure certain fatality even to a creature of its tall size and massiveness, not to count that perhaps there were jagged rocks at the bottom of the chasm. "To think..." the dragon's head would utter, while the lion's head would then pick up on the sentence, "... that Celestia could still ask for your services... it was something I did not anticipate..." it took one more step back, the ground below it crumbling it as the edge weakened.
Shining would raise his head, with a smirk, "Kraven... you should have never come back, but now, I will make sure you never hurt another pony." As the scene would then switch to a view of a village, lifeless in destruction, but the view obscured enough to not see the fatalities. It would then quickly switch to the fallen guards, some of which were deceased even prior to earlier, proving the fight had lasted longer than first perceived, "... Never again."
At that point, almost as if an act of fate, lightning from the sky would strike again, this time striking the shield that Shining Armor had casted, overtaxing it until nullification. It didn't matter for the unicorn now as he was on the offensive anyway, his magic having shifted to repel the creature off the cliff. With a growl on all of its heads, the Chimera began to fall... all four heads.
Four? while focusing on the three heads up front, like a true deceiver, the tail had snuck up and extended to strike the white unicorn. It was the head of a snake, with its venomous fangs sinking into the colt's coat, it did its final attack. Too little too late however, for nothing could save the Chimera from the fate which seemed overdue for such an abomination, falling... its fall would echo across the valley, not being a straight decent as it could be heard bumping among the rocky formations across, finally reaching the bottom with a slow, low tune thud.
Shining Armor was victorious! Normally a fight that would go on the record books for him having a strong offensive with an impenetrable defense. "You did it!" the old guard from earlier would shout, and as if a cue in an orchestra, the other guards would then rush in to congratulate him.
He just stood there, unshaking, until he toppled over. The venom acting up as he would lay in a puddle of water, the view of him going farther away as others would try to help him... it still continued to rain.

Picking up the letter from the ground, Cadance gave a slight chuckle thinking that perhaps she had a pen-pal, kind of like how Twilight did her letters to Celestia. Perhaps she could later set up something similar, meet somepony as wonderful as the filly she loved to sit for the most, and the brother to whom she was delighted to call her husband.
The letter had a royal seal on it as she glanced over it more carefully, an urgent matter perhaps? Shining and his guards were gone for a couple of days, so this could perhaps be a letter from him, telling her that they had decided to stay a couple of days in Equestria to rest up and meet with relatives.
She opened it up, a slight pause as Cadance's mouth would hang a little open. A tear would fall from one of her eyes as the only thing that could register in her mind and mouth to say was an echoing "NOOOOO!" that could be heard for miles away, in a cry that none had ever heard before, and felt as well to any ears and hearts that dared listen.
She stormed out, more tears rushing down as the envelop and letter would fall on the floor. It had a paragraph of writing courtesy, but one sentence was very clear, "Shining Armor has fallen in battle."
