The Triangle off the Coast
Travelling to a Distant Place
Load Full Story"Ok, Squad 5," I remembered what my operator had told me. "We need you to catch a flight to Flordia. Your going on a trip." I started to feel uneasy as the plane started down the runway. I knew where I was going. I thought that my life is just going to get thrown away, as if anyone survived the Bermuda Triangle. "We will be exiting shortly," The plane's flight attendant said. "Please start getting your bags." As he spoke, I had a tremble. Even though, I had no idea what was going to happen. "Zach, you don't look well," That was Leo, my good old friend from high school. "I never knew you were afraid of heights!" I gave him a stern look, and he just shut up. I wasn't in the mood to be joked at right now. "Just leave him alone for now, Leo. He has to worry about landing safely." Another joke from Patrick, a lower level officer then me. I closed my eyes in frustration, and they seemed to notice. "Meh, let's just stop." Leo always knows my limits. "We shall be exiting now," The attendant said on the intercom."Thank you for riding with us, and have a good night." As everyone sat up, eager to ditch the plane, I snapped my back and started down the isle. Well, I better get some well deserved rest. I thought. My Squad looked pretty beat as I drove to the Hotel. We parked in the lot, which was pretty deserted, as if a drug dealer would want to stay in a hotel with police men. When we parked, the guys took as many bags as they can carry. As they stepped on the curb, we heard gunshots. Then ran for the door, knowing that by the time we got our guns out, we'd be dead. As my squad checked in, we saw a boy being chased by a man. The kid ran up to a house, opening the door and slamming it behind him while the man behind him shot the door lock with the revolver. Well, I guess the deserved rest will have to wait.
