Adventures in Ponyville: RainGAK Dash

The rushing wind blew Rainbow Dash's mane along with the clouds, and her form soared across the landscape at unthinkable speeds. Planning on beating her record of flying around Ponyville as fast as possible, the determined look on Dash's face proved that nothing would stop her. She counted in her head as she sped through and around the clouds spread across the afternoon sky. Her starting point (a garbage can) was in her sight, and she pushed to her absolute limit. Diving down, she neared the waste bin and tapped it with her hoof as she sped by. Slowing to a halt, she stopped a few feet away from the can and shouted in victory.
"New record!" She yelled in delight. Finally looking down at the trash can she tapped, she noticed she didn't tap it, more like punch it as if it were an annoying chipmunk throwing nuts at her face. Noticing this, she trotted over to it and proceeded to put it right side up and put the contents of the trash back inside. Regular things like parchment, rotten fruits and vegetables, and even some random scrap. Rainbow Dash stopped, however, when she spotted a strange blue substance sticking to the floor next the the trash bin.
"What's this?" Rainbow asked herself as she picked up the gooey material. She stretched it out and then dropped it on the ground, only to find it bounce right back up into her hooves!
"Hey, this is kinda cool!" Rainbow Dash said, doing various things with the material, such as shoving her hoof into it and splitting it into a hole, throwing it high up into the air and making it bounce. She even licked it to see how it tasted, but because of the repulsive taste that lurched into her mouth, she decided it wasn't a very good idea.
"Oh well. Back in the garbage you go." Rainbow Dash threw the jelly into the garbage can and started walking away.
*plop*
"Hm?"
Rainbow Dash looked behind her to find the blue putty sitting out of the garbage can.
"What the heck..." She walked over to it and picked it up, dropping it back into the can. Watching the waste basket not move for a few seconds, she smiled and turned away to walk home.
*plop*
Rainbow Dash jumped back around. She growled at the stubborn substance and picked it up. She threw it into the garbage can, only to find it jump out.
*plop*
"Forget this! I'm going home."
Rainbow Dash left the substance on the ground and walked away, forgetting about it.
*plop* *plop* *plop*
"What in Celestia's name is-MMPH!"
All of Rainbow Dash's screams were muffled by the strange jelly that covered her face and slowly spread across Rainbow Dash's body, enveloping her in the substance.
Twilight Sparkle trotted around Ponyville with her saddlebags filled with various products of food, scrolls, quills, and many other things. She hummed as she trotted along and breathed the fresh afternoon air. Seeing her home in sight, she changed directions and decided she was done shopping for the day.
"Hey Twilight!" A familiar voice called to her.
"Oh hi, Rainbow Dash!" Twilight greeted as the cerulean colored pegasus trotted over to her.
"Hi, um, listen, can we go somewhere private?" She asked, looking around nervously. Twilight found this strange at first, but pushed it aside.
"Uh... sure? We could go inside the librar-"
"Is Spike there?" She interrupted.
"No, he's helping Rarity with some erra-"
"Good! Let's go!" The rainbow maned pegasus interrupted yet again. At this point, Twilight KNEW something was wrong. Maybe it was a secret she was trying not to let loose? Maybe it was something important and she wanted to tell Twilight about it? Whatever it was, Twilight hurried after her and went inside the library, closing the door behind her.
"So what's up Rainbow? You seem a bit on edge today." Twilight asked, taking off her saddlebags and putting them next to the door. Rainbow Dash said nothing and simply stared at Twilight whilst standing in the middle of the room.
"Uh... Rainbow?" She asked. This time, Rainbow Dash walked forward and got near to Twilight. She rose her hoof up.
"Rainbow, what are you do-MMPH!" Twilight's voice was muffled as Rainbow Dash's hoof stuck to Twilight's mouth, and her body transformed into a strange, gooey version of Rainbow Dash. The goop from her hoof spread onto Twilight's mouth, but with a flash of her horn, Rainbow Dash's imposter was floating in front of her, surrounded by a magenta aura. The substance on Twilight's mouth jumped from her and landed on the fake Dash.
"Resistance is futile! You will be one of the gak!" It sputtered out in a dostorted version of Rainbow's voice. Suddenly, it's head shook and it started beaming.
"Incredible, squishable, squashable, squeezable, stretchable, bouncable, plopable, popable stuff!" It spat out. With another shake of its head it seemed angry again and started trying to escape the magical grip.
"TWILIGHT!"
"Wha-"
Twilight had no time to react as the door was broken into a Pinkie shaped hole as she shot through it like a cannonball.
"My Left hoof, right ear, and left nostril started twitching! What's happe-" She stopped and gasped at the Rainbow Dash imposter.
"I knew this day would come!" Pinkie announced.
"W-what day? I don't under-"
"The day the Gak Empire takes control over Equestria!" Pinkie then reached off-screen and grabbed a soldier hat, along with their other friends while Twilight wrapped the "Gak" in ropes. She let it drop in a nearby chair. Fluttershy, Applejack,and Rarity were completely speechless until Applejack spoke up.
"What in the hay just happened?"
"NO TIME!" Pinkie screamed. "We need to gather information from RainGAK Dash!"
"...Who, exactly?" Rarity asked. Pinkie turned around and gasped when she saw that the ropes were limp and contained no creature within it whatsoever. She caught a glimpse of the blue goo going out an open window.
"Aw, cumquats!" Pinkie said, stamping her hoof on the wooden floor beneath her.
"Can somepony please explain just what the hay is happenin'? Applejack asked.
"Um, excuse me."
"Whatever it is, it certainly can't be more important than my scheduled hooficure!" Rarity stated.
"Please, can I say something?"
"We need to find RainGAK Dash as quick as possible! All of Ponyville is in danger!" Pinkie remained un-calm.
"Please, I-"
"No we don't! I was just attacked by Rainbow Dash!" Twilight argued.
"That's why we need to find her!" Pinkie argued back.
"May I-"
"We can't do ANYTHING until we figure out what in tarnation is goin' on!" Applejack argued.
"Please-"
"I'm already late for my mud bath!" Rarity pouted.
"CAN I PLEASE SAY SOMETHING?!" Fluttershy yelled as loud as she could. That kept all the ponies around silent. "Thank you. I just wanted to say that usually, when Pinkie Pie says something, it's true, and if we don't do anything, Ponyville will probably be destroyed because we keep fighting. So can we please stop arguing and save Ponyville?"
A short silence remained after that, until Twilight coughed.
"All in favor of finding Rainbow?"
"I."
"I."
"I!"
"I."
"Then it's settled. We look for Rainbow Dash!" Twilight announced, and everypony cheered.
That is, until spike came in.
"There you are Twilight! I've been looking all over for you!" Spike ran over and hugged Twilight. As she processed this newfound information that is being presented to her, she works out what may happen next. Let's take a look, shall we?
One: Spike never found out about the Gaks. Thus, he should NOT be this excited to see Twilight.
Two: If Spike was left with Rarity, wouldn't he have mentioned Rarity? This proves One even further.
Three: Spike is firmly attached to Twilight in a strong hug. this only ever happens when something tragic happened, and Spike doesn't know about the Gaks.

"Hey, Spike?" Twilight asked.
"Yeah?"
"You feel a little gooey." This is when Twilight stomped her hoof onto Spike, and it sunk inside of his jelly-like form. It was too late however, the Spike imposter had already started enveloping Twilight, and the bucks and hits the Gak received were useless, as Twilight's pupils dilated and her body shuttered. She fell the the floor, and Spike let go of her.
"Twilight!" Rarity screamed. But it was too late, and TwiGAK Sparkle tackled the nearest pony, Applejack.
"Applejack!" Fluttershy squeaked.
"We need to move!" Pinkie ordered, grabbing the two ponies' arms and galloping out of the library. There was a tiny surprise to find that quite a few ponies were running around, as ponies like OctaviGAK, VinGAK Scratch, and even the GAK Mark Crusaders, Sweetie GAK, GAKlebloom, and ScootaGAK all trailing behind RainGAK Dash.
"HIDE!" Pinkie ordered the two ponies still attached to her hooves. They followed and hid behind a nearby building. Pinkie Pie grabbed a nearby rock and threw it over.
"Over here!" She called. The citizens of GAKville looked over to the source of the rock and call, running towards Pinkie who sprinted away. As Fluttershy watched over Rarity's shoulder, she felt something strange land on her back. She turned pale and slowly turned around to find AppleGAK staring down at her.
"U-um, R-r-rarity?" Fluttershy trembled.
"What is it-"
"You can pull it, make gak sounds! Suck it up and squirt it out with a GAK VAC!"
Another shake of the head and AppleGAK was cornering the two once again.
"RUN!" Rarity screamed, and bolted in the other direction. Fluttershy shot up and started to fly away. After about a minute, she stopped behind a building and and looked around the corner. Finding nothing in sight, she sighed and took a rest behind the building, only to feel a gooey string wrap around her waist. Opening her resting eyes and looking down, dread filled her mind while she stared at the GAK rope. She only had a second to panic before AppleGAK pulled her in and sucked her up.
Rarity, inside her Boutique, gazed out at the barren Ponyville, as most of them either fled, were chasing Pinkie, or trying to find anypony hiding. She was pacing around the room, wondering what to do.
"Rarity?" Sweetie Belle said, sitting in the middle of the room. Rarity gave a questioning look, as she didn't see or hear her come in.
"I should run, shouldn't I?" Rarity half squeaked, and was about to bolt out of the room. But as soon as she opened the door to escape, the other two GAK Mark Crusaders, who started getting closer to her as she backed away. Sweetie GAK, however, was right behind her and grabbed her leg. In the moment of surprise, GAKlebloom and ScootaGAK grabbed her other two front legs, and the gooey slime covered all of her body, encasing her in a body of GAK.
Pinkie watched over a hillside, staring down at the lost Ponyville. She had gotten away form the pursuing pasty ponies.
"I will save you." Pinkie said. "I WILL SAVE YOU ALL!" She bellowed. Noticing the heads turn in her direction, she put a hoof over her mouth and ran away.
