//-------------------------------------------------------// True Chaos -by Lord_Bale- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Capter 1 //-------------------------------------------------------// Capter 1 The Warp, Location: Unknown, Time: Unknown Hundreds of eyes watched the group standing in the middle of the amphitheater.  Those eyes would be enough to make any mortal a cowering pile of fear.  But there were no mortals here. Only fallen angels, daemons, and gods.  Hundreds of power armored figures watched 4 Chaos Lords and a daemon prince. One of the five figures standing in the middle eyed the crowd. Warriors from every war band were present. Amongst the crowd present he noted Warsmith Honsou, Fabius Bile, Kharn the Betrayer, and countless other Chaos Lords and Sorcerers. There murmurings resounded through the amphitheater.  There was still one to come, made evident by the empty podium in the middle of the crowd. The conversations came to a hush as the latecomer entered. Even amongst the warlords present, his air of authority was evident. His pale face contrasted with his black terminator armor. Abbadon the Despoiler entered (with both his arms) and took his spot behind the podium. “Sindri Myr, Lord Bale, Lord Crull, Lord Carron, and Eliphas the Inheritor, you have been summoned back from depths of the warp to face punishment for your failure to eliminate the Blood Ravens” Abbadon said. One of the accused stepped forward. He wore dark blue armor adorned with a hydra and countless marks of pestilence and decay. “Lies, it was SINDRI who caused my defeat at Tartarus” Lord Bale said pointing at the daemon prince standing next to him. Sindri looked down at Bale, who had started foaming at the mouth. “My Lord” Sindri said with a voice like fine wine…evil fine wine, “you have no one to blame but yourself. You were too incompetent to combat the loyalists much less see through my designs. Besides we were both used by the daemon of the maledictum making us blameless.” Lord Bale screwed his face up in rage and tried to tackle Sindri. Lacking the size to pull off such a maneuver, he settled for latching onto the daemon prince’s leg and gnawing at it. “Enough” Abbadon commanded “Both of you are responsible for the loss of the maledictum and the escape of the 3rd company on Tartarus. Your warband was all but destroyed leaving the blame on your shoulders alone.” The two former allies fell silent and Abbadon turned to Lord Crull “Your failure on Lorn V was no better. Not only did you fail to secure the Titan Dominatus but also you were defeated by Warboss Gorgutz, the same ork who failed so miraculously at Kronus and Kaurava. What do you have to say?” Krull stepped forward with a mad glint to rival Lord Bale “BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD, SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE!!! It matters not who’s BLOOD fell only that there was BLOOD!!! AHAHAHA BLOOD BLOOD!!!!” he cried gurgling on his words. Abbadon raised an eye brow at the raving lunatic before him. “Be that as it may, the gods detest failure more. Your meager devotions and mild insanity will not assist you.” Abbadon turned to the next Chaos Lord “Lord Carron you…” Lord Karron began to twitch and jerk like a possessed marine and began to shout “RHINOS RHINOS. OUR ENEMIES HID IN METAL BAWXES!!!! THE COWARDS, THE FOOLS! WE COULD NOT TAKE AWAY THEIR METAL BAWXES!” An awkward silence filled the room and several Chaos Lords had to stop their ears from hemorrhaging after the auditory assault. Abbadon stared at Carron for a minute before continuing.  “Well…I see that you can clearly here the voices and should never have been given command over a pack of nurglings, much less a full Chaos Warband. For the dark gods’ sake, you lost out to a space marine with a lisp, an imperial guard commander who lost 100 super heavy battle tanks, as well as all the horribly voiced races in the campaign now known as the soulstorm.” Carron continued to twitch and ramble utterly unaware of anything The Despoiler had just said. Sighing in defeat, Abbadon turned to the final Chaos Lord. “Eliphas, I had such high hopes for you.  Your losses at Kronus we’re all to plan. However losing an entire subsector to the greatest band of misfits this side of the Jericho Reach was unacceptable! How could you lose to a force commanded by the likes of him?” “DO YOU SEE THE HAIR?” “Lord Abbadon,” Eliphas began in a deep soothing voice that did not sound like Steve Blum “I assure you these are only minor setbacks. Surly, you must realize that the Blood Ravens are weak and waiting to be destroyed. I only need one last chance.” “You’ve had three chances already, and each has been a more spectacular failure than the previous. You cannot bargain out your failures this time.” Abbadon snarled pointing accusingly at him. “My Lord, I assure you tha…” “No” snarled Abbadon “No more empty promises. You all have gone beyond any hope of redemption in the eyes of chaos. You shall be banished from this dimension.” The chaos lords and daemon prince paused in horror. “NO IT CANNOT BE!” Eliphas shouted. Abbadon raised his arms and a portal began to rip into the warp. “You will be sent far from this dimension, to a realm untouched by chaos.  There you will stay till the end of your wretched lives.” He said. Lord Crull took a step towards the despoiler “I will rend your….” The World Eater’s threat was never finished as he was pulled back into the portal. Carron shouted something along the lines of boxes before being pulled into the swirling vortex. Sindri turned to face the portal and laughed. “I am made from the very stuff of this realm you cannot banish me, fool” he proclaimed. The daemon prince dug his feet into the ground and held his ground. “Despair Despoiler for I will end you!” he boasted. Sindri slowly stuck one foot forward and then the other advancing forwards, until a screaming form slammed into his head.  “SINDRI” Lord Bale yelled clinging to Sindri’s head. “PATHETIC CREATURE, release me or you will doom the both us” he screamed trying to hold his balance. Lord Bale’s elbow smacked into his face sending them both tumbling into the gaping portal. Eliphas was alone desperately clinging to the ground. “I will not allow this you dog.” He shouted “I’m sure Araghast thought the same before he died” Abbadon retorted. The ground began to crack and Eliphas watched his gauntleted hands slip before he too fell into the portal. Abbadon lowered his hands, closing the portal. “Such is the price for failure.” He told the gathering. “Now onto the 14th black crusade, which I’m sure will do better than the last 13” the warmaster declared striking a pose of victory with his arms. A raising shout came from the crowd, until Abbadon’s arms fell off. “Oh not again” he said. The four Chaos Lords and daemon prince tumbled through the hell hole that was the portal. Thousands of images, thoughts, and feelings ripped through their minds every second. It was more than enough to drive a man insane. Eliphas fought back the memories of the basilica of torment and looked for a way out, but everywhere was utter chaos. He looked to his companions to see if they had made any progress but they all seemed stuck in the portal. A bright light flashed through the portal and lightning danced over their tumbling forms.  All of the party began screaming in agony as the lightning danced over their bodies. Eliphas fought to stay conscious but each burst of pain made it harder and harder to keep awake. One last flash appeared and the world went black.     Eliphas groaned and slowly opened his eyes. He looked up at the blue sky and bright sun and started flexing his muscles to see if he had sustained any injuries. Despite the earlier pain, he seemed to be able to move everything without and trouble. In fact his hooves and wings had never felt better. His eyes went wide in horror. He was no longer human. He had hooves, wings, and a tail. The former Chaos lord’s mind raced wondering what had happened. Losing his balance he stumbled forward and fell into the ground. As he tried to understand what had happened, a bright pink face appeared over him and exclaimed “HELLO!!!” ================================================================================================= A/N: Ok I’m not really happy about how this turned up so if it’s bad let me know and I’ll send this back into the pits from which it came. Now then, this story is only going to make sense to Dawn of War players so if you don’t know the game you’ll probably hate this. Also checking 1d4chan will probably make this much more enjoyable. Also I’m more than happy to hear suggestions as to what will happen to our chaos champions.
