Twilight Sparkle and Spike set off to help Applejack and Big Mac clear the undeveloped land recently discovered at the outskirts of Sweet Apple Acres.

The only thing Twilight really thought she'd be doing after some mild disappointment was to uproot any weeds or grass to ensure the succession of the growth of the new apple trees they wanted to plant there.

Though, what they discover in this unusually barren part of Equestria, certainly caught their interest--and the rather suspicious interest of Princess Luna, as well.
