Today is the day you're finally (after ALOT of thinking) going to confess to scootaloo. Although you only moved to ponyville a month ago, and this is your second week in school, you think that the sooner the better. Once you take a quick shower and skip breakfast you ascend into the air and dash to school. You were the fastest filly in ponyville, second only to rainbow dash.
Although you have raced her you fail to see why scootaloo is so obsessed with her.
As you almost crash land in front of the school you are greeted by your crushes sweet voice. ''wow you're amazing crimsonwing'' scootaloo cheered. "thanks scoots...umm theres something I w-want to tell you". You cooed softly.
"yeah theres something I want to tell you too" said scootaloo with a look in her eyes that made you wanna cry."y-you go first" you nervously respond. "Well ive been having these nightmares"she said with a slight pain in her voice. you could sense it was bad. "I-I tried to tell sweetie about it but ever since apple bloom disappeared 3 months ago we barely talk". "well then tell me, ill help you even if it kills me" you say with a manly gesture.
"hehe well you dont have to go THAT far"she jokes. Yet in an instant her face went back to despair, as if you shined some light on her for only a second. That made you want to help her even more. "It starts with applebloom running into the forest, I run after her to see if shes the real deal and then....when i run into the forest after her the trees roots grow out of the ground and block the entrance"she forces out."then as i try to break out i hear appleblooms giggle in the distance...I follow her voice only to be greeted with applebloom standing next to a gray stallion without a cutie mark".
"that stallion then says that he'll save me from the cursed mark and applebloom nodds....I ask her where she has been and she says here with greyhoof mah best friend"."After that they go under a weird transformation and turn into some zombie like pony figures and approach me"."I step back in horror as more of those zombie figures ascend from under the ground...i run into the trees constantly crashing into one, when i look back the zombie figures were dodging the trees with ease, chasing me without signs of tire, then i hear applebloom cry out come back we only want a new friend with her usual accent".
At this point you were eager yet afraid to keep listening."they almost catched up until they halt and what I could make out as greyhoof yelled you fool youve crossed the territory of the bloody hooves...he keeps going saying he wanted to save me".I then scream back Is saving some one turning them into a monster"?Scootaloo was crying as you tried to comfort her. "Then he said no matter your food for the bloody hooves now...then they leave and applebloom looks back with worry as the roots of those trees grow and block any way out".
"then from within the trees I hear a blood curdling voice say you cannot escape your fate".Scootaloo was now sobbing
uncontrollably.You knew what she was about to tell you was the worst part. Scootaloo then continued "after i hear that voice I would find myself surrounded by stallions with pitch black fur, their eye sockets empty and filled with blood that seemed to glow in the dark"she says with obvious horror in her voice.
"their hooves covered with the same mysterious blood". "They all chanted things like you cannot escape your fate and one of us....then they beared their teeth that were horrifyingly sharp and covered in decaying tissue and blood t-then".Scootaloo was hesitating painfully as she tried to keep going.
"you dont have to tell me scoots"you said with a tear running through your face. You could feel her despair. "As much as it hurts me I need to get this out...please understand crimsonwing"scootaloo says. "Ok then"you respond.
"then they pounced on me biting at my skin, tearing chunks of flesh of my hooves and torso, it was like a swarm of piranhas tearing a fish injured by its own fear apart". I could hear the loud rips as flesh was being torn from my broken self...I thrashed around making it all the more painfull, I then gave up fighting but i didn't give up screaming".
"I screamed especially loud when one of them tore my eyes from their sockets and everything went blank"."Then i woke up in my bed...the fact that i live alone made the moment more horrifying"scootaloo finished.
"I-im here for you scoots"you reassure her as you give her a huge hug. "scoots I l-lo....uum"you pause for a moment *maybe I shouldn't tell her yet* you think to yourself. "you what"? asks scootaloo."oh nothing"you reply. After a painfull lesson on geometry you walk home with scootaloo, you escort her in her house and leave to yours after giving her a reassuring smile. "If you get any nightmares feel free to come by"you say heroicly. "ok thank you" she says with a smile that makes you feel warm.
Then you head home and hop onto bed."ill try to help her all i can tomorrow at school"you said to yourself as you drifted into deep slumber. *yawn* "maybe twilight has a book about it" then the drift into slumber was complete.
chapter 2:unwanted guests
"Its morning", you yawn. After an ordeal of thoughts, you snap out of it and drag your uncertain self out of bed. You head downstairs as you try to shake off the eerie feeling of being watched. You yawn once again before opening the bathroom door.
However once you opened that door, that feeling of being watched intensified to the point in which you could no longer ignore it."What in Equestria is going on"? You ask yourself before approaching the window. Your gaze met nothing but a lone tree alongside a bush, also the everfree forest in the background.
As you turned around you failed to see a shadowy figure reappear in the background. Although you know something definetly isn't right, you decide to brush off the feeling and proceed to starting your day.
After a less relaxing shower than usual, you brush your self off with a nice clean towel. On your way out you decide not to skip breakfast.
You don't want your brain to be deprived of anything when you try and help your one and only."Hmm I guess i'll go with some pancakes", you suggest to yourself. As you ate, your eyes began to ache to the point in which they hurt, alot.
The pain kept increasing and soon you found yourself rolling on the ground in agony."argh my eyes", you forced out before the pain finally ceased. You headed to the bathroom to inspect your eyes, however immediatly after opening the door your eyes locked on that shadowy figure outside your window.
"What the buck"? You whisper clearly startled by the current situation. When you regretfully blinked, the shadowy figure that was about 80 feet away was now 2 inches away from your window.
You would have screamed but some kind of unfamiliar force kept your mouth shut. You tried and tried to move but that same strange force didnt allow it. You are terrified.
The only thing that kept you consciouse was the same burning fear that had you immobilized. Then you realized that you were surrounded by shadowy figures, all of them fitting scootaloos description of the bloody hooves. All you earned from realizing this was more dreadful fear.
But suddenly that pain that you experienced just moments ago returned to your eyes. As the pain distracted you, the shadowy figures took that chance to pounce, as if you were in any way formidable.
The last thing you felt before you were allowed to pass out was wickedly sharp teeth dig into the flesh and bone of your hooves.

To your suprise you woke up, alive. You are in the same place in which the ordeal took place, your bathroom. To your undoubted shock, you were surrounded by devoured corpse."It reeks of death in here", was the only thought your brain would dare inform you of.
You took no time to notice a pale smoke that oozed out of where your wounds should have been. The pain in your eyes have almost ceased and you try to stand yourself up.
When you did your jaw dropped to your reflection on the mirror. Your mouth was covered in a mysteriously crimson blood while your eyes were black and sky blue instead of its usual white and yellow.
"W-whats happening to m-",you loudly asked yourself only to be cut off by the sight of the corpses standing up. Fear started building back up but halted once you realized the figures were retreating outside your window.
Shrouded in confusion and fear, you run outside your home and into the direction of school. Halfway there you remembered you had wings and you took off into the air. After doing so you arrived in front of the school in a matter of seconds.
All you could think off was making sure if scootaloo was also "visited", and if so survived. You professionally brushed aside the thought of charging in after remembering your new appearance.
"First I gotta do something about this blood", you remind yourself. While you washed your mouth, ideas on how to communicate with scootaloo asap yet privately browsed your mind.
"Lets start with confirming her well being by seeing if shes in school or not", you instruct yourself as you walked through the hallway.
As you headed to Cheerilees classroom, you were sneaked up on by non other than scootaloo herself."crimson, is that you"? She asked as you tried to not turn your startled self around.
"Yes, is that you scootaloo"? You respond. "Yea, why arent you turning around, and why are you in school anyway i thought you were absent".
"Weeeeelll...."
-15 minutes of explanation later-
"Y-you expect me to believe this, if this is a joke then it certainly isnt funny crimson",scootaloo snapped.*sigh* "See for yourself", you respond as you turn around, reaveling your new eyes.
Once you did this scootaloos eyes widened making you chuckle."still dont believe me"? You retort."I-but-h-how, you mean you were telling the truth"? "Yeah, I dont know what im becoming", you admit with a very worried expression.
Scootaloo, knowing that your concern was for her, hugged you."dont worry, no matter what you become, you'll always be my little crimson", she reassured you before closing in for a kiss.
As she did this a million thoughts crossed your mind.(I-I cant believe this, im about to kiss scootaloo hehehe, now im glad these events unfolded).
After what seemed like forever, scootaloos lips met with yours. It felt so soft and tender. If you didnt know better you would say you were melting. The warmth you felt from her lips were addicting.
Impossibly, you blushed even harder after you felt her tounge slip into your mouth and make contact with yours. Both of your tounges stroking against each other harder than the last.
You could taste her saliva which was way sweeter than you imagined it would be. After 10 more seconds of pure bliss heaven scootaloo finally broke the kiss exhaustedly.
"Scootaloo I-",you were about to confess until scootaloo shushed you with her finger."Crimson we better find a way to cover those eyes", she said with a wink.
You had no idea scootaloo could have been so seductive. You would also never in your wildest dreams imagine scootaloo acting this way.
But she did and she did it all for you. "yeah I guess you're right", you respond with a smile."Anyway, what are you doing out here in the hallway scootaloo"? You ask her.
"Well honestly,I was about to go and see you, schools practically over you know"."practically"? You ask her. "Uuum yeah I was gonna leave early, because i wanted to see if you were all right....after all y-you did promise and your not the type to break your promises".
"Dont worry scoots, I never once took that off my mind", you heroicly state."hehe I know you wouldnt", scootaloo responded."since you were already on your way, we should head over to twilight, she will probably have a book about "it".
"I was thinking the same same thing crimson", agreed scootaloo as she hurried in the direction of the exit. On your way your third storm of thoughts hit your brain. Although it sounded crazy, you were actually liking this day.
