After many centuries of bliss and prosperity in Equestria, anarchy takes over when both Celestia and Luna go missing. When all the three types of ponies- Earth, Pegasi and Unicorns- argue over who has the divine right to rule, the squabbles escalate to a full blown civil war. Twilight and her friends struggle to stay above the war, trying to find the missing princesses. But, eventually, each one gets sucked into the war, joining their tribes in a fight for dominance. Even Celestia's most faithful student will subjugate to the war, and when that happens, will anyone know peace again?
