Rainbow Dash effortlessly soared through the sky. She did flips, twists, loops, and dives. She had been flying for hours, practicing nonstop. She was practicing for a competitive race between her and several other talented flyers from all across Equestria. Dash, however, was beginning to get very hungry, as she often does when she pushes herself too hard. Dash notices she is directly above Sugarcube Corner.

Sugarcube Corner was a bakery which specialized desserts and sweets. Rainbow Dash, like most ponies in Equestria, enjoyed sweets such as cupcakes. Dash decided to stop by Sugarcube Corner to get a chocolate smothered cupcake with the rainbow sprinkles the owners, Mr and Mrs cake, knew she loved. Dash gracefully landed at the door and opens the door, walking in.

     The store was very empty. No customers, just Pinkie Pie, who was takings nap at the cash register and snoring loudly.

"Psst! Pinkie!" Rainbow Dash whispers to Pinkie.

     Pinkie Pie suddenly jolts awake, surprising Rainbow Dash.

"Dashie! What's up?" Pinkie enthusiastically asks, hopping up and down like she often does when excited.

"Oh, nothing. I'm just practicing for a race I'm gonna be in! Cool, huh?" Dash casually replies, her eyes fixated on a chocolate covered, rainbow sprinkled, freshly baked cupcake resting on a tray behind the counter.

"What brings you down here, Dashie? My party is tomorrow, not today!" Pinkie says, excitement still in her voice.

"Well, I was wondering if I could buy. . . That. . ." Dash says and gestures towards the cupcake.

"Dashie, I made it for you, silly! Its all yours, friend!" Pinkie says and gives Rainbow Dash the cupcake.

     Dash excitedly bites down into the warm and soft treat. The chocolate was perfectly sweet, and the sprinkles made the cupcake that much more tasty. As Dash pops the last bite into her mouth, she glances toward Pinkie Pie. Pinkie Pie was staring blankly at her, as if expecting something to happen.

"What's the matter, Pinkie?" Dash says and swallows the last bite, smiling in satisfaction and contentment.

Pinkie inches towards Dash, who is now uncomfortable with this odd display of Pinkie's. Pinkie retreats behind the counter and returns with an empty flour sack.

"Dashie, I have a surprise for you in the bag! Its pretty cool." Pinkie says, a grin plastered on her face.

Dash approaches Pinkie and peers unto the empty bag. Suddenly, the bag is over Dash's head. Dash struggles, but she can't see anything. Dash feels something very heavy land on her back, making Dash fall to the floor.

"Pinkie, this isn't funny! Let me go!" Dash protests, unsure of whether or not she was just attacked or pranked. She didn't have time to ponder this, as she is knocked out with a blow to the back of her head.
