Twilight read through her books quietly, Applejack waiting for her to tell her what she needed to know and Twilight eventually just sighed, saying as she floated it down,

"Sorry Applejack, it's not in this one either…"

"Are ya sure?"

"I'm positive."

Applejack sighed, rolling her hoof around the floor nervously as she muttered, "I really need to know the exact month this year when the stars are in place for this harvest… I can't believe I lost the calendar."

"Hey… don't worry," Twilight said with as much assurance she could give, "I'll find it, you did say it was in here somewhere, are you sure you can't remember where you put that book?"

Applejack shook her head weakly, "Haven't a clue…"

The country pony looked across at all the books quietly, sighing in disappointment as she asked, "Damn Twi, why did ya have to hav' so many books?"

"Reading is my passion," she said with a wink and Applejack smiled weakly, before guessing she should leave and headed in dead steps to the door but Twilight's eyes suddenly lit up with life as she said,

"Applejack?"

"Yeah?"

"Why don't you stay over tonight and we can just keep looking until we find it? I mean, you have nothing planned right?"

Applejack looked at her confused… but thought over her plans for today and guessed, it wouldn't hurt?

"You think we'll find it?"

"I'm certain," Twilight said with a big smile and Applejack smiled back,

"Well alrighty, a slumber party!"

"No, no… a study party."

Applejack looked at her defused,

"Okay… a study party."

"Oh wonderful!" Twilight said with a gleam and looked at Applejack with glee, "This will be SO MUCH FUN!"

"Yay…" Applejack said with a quiet voice, were they really going to spend the whole night searching?

"Spike!" Twilight called upstairs and the baby dragon came downstairs looking at her tired as if he had been napping,

"Yeah?"

"We're going to have a study party!"

"Again?" he said tiredly, "But we just had one last night."

Applejack looked at Twilight warily as the unicorn said with glee,

"We have them regularly,"

"Uh huh…"

"Alright, just let me get some coffee," Spike said sleepily as he began to boil the kettle and Applejack looked around nervous saying,

"I should probably tell my folks,"

"Oh don't worry, I can just teleport and tell them instantly!"

Applejack looked at her slowly,

"…okay?"

Twilight gleamed as she popped in a purple ban disappearing and reappeared seconds later saying, "They know."

"And they didn't think it was at all weird that you took only less than a second to tell them?"

"I just LOVE STUDY PARTIES!"

Applejack smiled nervously, taking a step back and Twilight flew all the books into a pile, looking at Applejack with glee as she said,

"We start in ten minutes, take a break in three hours then start again."

"Jeeze, Twilight, I wouldn't mind havin' a snack first if that is at all possible?"

"Oh snacks! Provisional! What am I thinking?" Twilight said with a goofy roll of her eyes and took a breath in saying calmly, "Of course."

The kettle hit off as Twilight masterfully cooked a meal with her magic and Applejack watched in amaze at her ability,

"Wow… you're pretty good at this,"

"Are you kidding!" Spike said sipping his coffee, "Twilight makes the best food ever! I don't think there's anything she can't do."

"Awe Spike, you're such a gentleman," Twilight chimed and Spike smiled proud of himself, Applejack saying nervously,

"Should a baby dragon really be drinkin' coffee?"

"Twilight said it's okay,"

"Oh yes, I monitor his diet very precisely. He needs it so he can stay awake while we work at night."

"I'm not sure that's healthy…?"

"Oh relax Applejack, trust me."

Applejack smiled again nervous, but what else could she say? It wasn't really her place and she just watched as Twilight floated the dinners down to the table, a delicious salad being made and Applejack licked her lips hungrily but had to ask,

"Say… you wouldn't hav' happened to add apples to this?"

"Apples… why do you want some?"

"I just…" Applejack said nervously, "I just really need apples."

"Oh of course," Twilight said, seeing the concern in the orange mare's eyes, "I could teleport some?"

"Could ya?" Applejack said, her eyes lighting up, "It's just… I really need apples."

"Be back in a second" Twilight said happy and popped out, popping back a second later with a whole crate full of them and Applejack looked at them nervously,

"That's not enough…"

"What?"

"I need more apples."

"Applejack, I don't think you'll be even able to finish these."

Applejack sighed, "…fine."

And with one gobble the apples were gone.

Twilight's and Spike's mouths dropped opened. Applejack looked at them quietly as she said again,

"I told you I needed more apples."

"Okay!" Twilight said a little bit awkwardly, finishing her dinner quickly and looking at Applejack with a small smile, "Shall we get started,"

"I suppose," Applejack said quietly, feeling defused for some reason and the two got going, searching through all the books, not finding something within the first hour and Twilight sighed looking to Spike.

"Spike, make me some coffee… I'm so tired."

"Twi, you just had three cups ten minutes ago."

"Spike…" she said quietly, her voice so dead and scary and the baby dragon gulped,

"Alright, alright."

"Damn it Twi!" Applejack said in sorrow, "We'll never find that book."

"Don't give up," Twilight said in encouragement, "We'll find it. Just DON'T GIVE UP."

"I can't do this anymore, Twi!" Applejack said, starting to quake in tears, "I mean, all we do is look and read and look and read and look and read AND"

"Spike!"

"Coffee!" he said hurrying giving it to Twilight and she swallowed it down fast, her mouth burning from the heat until she shouted, "EUREKA!"

"You found it!"

"Even better!"

Applejack looked at her confused.

"I found a book on elephants!"

"How is that even better?!" Applejack yelled.

"Obviously you've never learnt that an elephant never forgets."

"Forget that!"

"No, they never forget."

"Twilight…" Applejack said warning, her teeth grating, and Twilight just smiled at her smugly saying,

"Just watch."

She closed her eyes and her horn began to glow, before a pop was made and her eyes opened with sudden knowledge saying,

"I know where it is."

"Where!" Applejack begged.

"The memory spell I used makes me remember everything that's ever happened and I remember you put the book right… over… THERE!"

She teleported suddenly to the corner of the room, pulling the book out of the pile on the ground and Applejack's face lit up with joy.

"Oh THANK CELESTIA!"

"What…?" Twilight said, "Why would you thank her… I-I was the one who found it."

"It's just a saying Twi…"

"Oh…" she said with a nervous laugh, "Oh of course."

"Well" Applejack said, slinging her bags on and dropping the book into them, "I guess there's no reason to stay now."

"What about… for me?"

Applejack blinked nervous, looking back at Twi with a fake smile, "Oh yes, I mean, of course for ya."

Twilight gleamed and floated the books back into the shelves, looking back over at Applejack with a big glorious smile and said in glee,

"Okay, so what should we do next?"

"How about spin the dragon?"

Twilight looked at Applejack a bit startled, "YOU know how to play Spin the Dragon?"

"Doesn't everypony?"

"I've never met someone who knows how to play it."

"Twilight," Spike said nervously, "I don't really want to play,"

"QUIET SPIKE!" she shouted and continued,

"But, you do know once he blows on you, you will be on fire until you can figure out the number of the other opponent."

"Twi, I wanna play Spin the Dragon."

"You my friend," Twilight said with a glitter in her eye, "Just became my favourite pony."

"Oh goody," Applejack said not enthusiastic about this, "Heh, heh, heh…"

"Okay! Let's play!"

After playing several games for the night and having girl talk, Twilight regenerated Applejack's fur and the two lay in their beds that night, talking in giggles at all the magnificent adventures they had had.

"Oh and can you believe we got away with that murder?" Twilight said with a wink and Applejack giggled,

"Yeah… they've never expect to find it in that old sewage pipe."

The two laughed and Spike covered his ears moaning,

"Shut up, shut up, shut up."

"Ya know Twilight. I don't think I've ever had as much fun as I'm havin' right here tonight."

"I know Applejack, I just hope that spell I put on you doesn't wear off and you remember who's lives we destroyed."

"I'm so HAPPY!"

"Yes… keep believing that…"

"You know Twi… I feel awfully lonesome in this bed of mine, I could sure use a bit of company."

"Oh I know exactly what you mean," she said with a flirty wink and shouted, "Spike! Sleep with AJ tonight… she's scared."

"Err, Twi," Spike said blankly "I may just be a baby dragon but even I know what she meant."

"Yeah, she's scared. Aren't you Applejack."

"I'M SO HAPPY!"

"See,"

"What the fuck…?" Spike said slowly, getting off the ground and crawling into Applejack's bed, the country pony hugging him tight and Twilight asked with assurance,

"Still lonely, AJ?"

"Yep,"

Twilight looked dumbfounded,

"But I… but I just gave you a baby dragon?"

"I know… it's just, I usually sleep with apples… that my bed feels sorta empty."

"Alright, I'll give you company."

"Yeah, we'll hav' ourselves a barn dance!"

Twilight popped into the bed, her blanket levitating and falling on top the original and Applejack just stared into Twi's eyes smiling as she said,

"Hey."

"Hi…?" Twilight said with concern.

"Has anyone ever told you that you're prudy?"

"Yes, my reflection… why?"

"Because… you're prudy."

"Okay…"

"I'm still here," Spike said, being squashed between AJ's hoofs.

Twilight saw the look in Applejack's eyes and sighed saying,

"Look Applejack, if we are gonna do anything tonight you have to sign a contract promising your heart to me."

"How about my apples?"

"No."

"But."

"NO. I MUST HAVE YOUR HEART!"

"Twi… I will sign that contract."

"Oh for the love of God…" Spike said as Twilight popped the contract out and Applejack signed it none the wiser.

"Okay, Applejack. What this contract means is that if you so as much as wink, kiss or have sex with another pony, I will kill you blindly in your sleep, kill all your loved ones and burn down your home and possessions."

"Can we just do it already?!" Applejack said annoyed and Twilight grinned,

"Okay…"

And the sex they had, OH MY GOD it was incredible! It was so hot and sexy and so glorious that you couldn't even imagine it. The two probably orgasmed a cajillion times each and Spike just orgasmed by watching them. By the time the three woke that morning they were groaning in pain form the unbelievable sex they had had that night and all got up in agony from all the incredible love making.

"Oh Twi, I am so glad that I made that deal," Applejack said in exhaustion, "It was so worth it for eight hours of unbelievable pleasure."

"And I didn't even know that babies could orgasm." Spike said tiredly,

"Well Spike," Twilight said with a wink "sex is magic and magic is magic and sex and magic makes magic sex and,"

"Please… please just be quiet…"

"But Applejack, you now know what this means," Twilight said slowly and Applejack looked at her confused.

"Err…?"

"It means that you are now my girlfriend for eternality and if you ever leave me… you will die."

"Oh Twi… you are so romantic," Applejack said dreamily.

"Well, when you have a name like Twilight, you can truly understand the most romantic love to ever exist… but even this is a better love story than Twilight."

"Huh?"

"In time my dear," Twilight said with a grin, "In time…"

"Alright… well I guess I'll be leaving,"

"Don't forget to take your Thank You basket," Twilight said levitating one of her many baskets over to Applejack and the country pony smiled,

"Of course, my sugarcube."

"Goodbye my love… and never forget the wonderful night we shared together, for if you do,"

"You'll kill me," Applejack said with a giggle, "Yeah I know,"

The two laughed and Applejack lifted her basket and left, Twilight waving at her as she watched her new girlfriend leave and said darkly,

"It has begun…"
