"Come on Twilight!" squealed Pinkie Pie, "do the spell already!" Pinkie was going to be a test subject for one of Twilight's spells.
"Pinkie, I haven't even got to the right page in my spell book yet," groaned Twilight. She continued to flick until she got the right page.
"Ah, here it is," said Twilight. She turned around to ready everything for the spell. Suddenly, a gust of wind blew in the window and flipped the page of her spell book. Twilight didn't seem to notice, for she turned around, looked at the book, and started the spell.
"Uh, Twilight? That's the wrong spell, the wind turned the p-," started Pinkie.
"Pinkie, be quiet, I have to concentrate," said Twilight, not listening. A white beam shot from Twilight's horn, flying to the ceiling and shooting into Pinkie's chest. She screamed in agony. The beam suddenly disappeared.
"Maybe I did the spell wrong?" said a confused Twilight. But Twilight was proved wrong. Pinkie started to glow white until she was just a pony-shaped white glowing blob. Her sides stretched far out before splitting from her. The two split parts grew in size, then formed the shape of two more Pinkie Pies, one with wings, one with straight hair. The white started to fade, and, eventually was gone. Twilight gasped at what she saw. Pinkie Pie smiling and shouting, "Did it work? Did it work?" over and over, a white Pinkie Pie with yellow hair and wings, and a depressed looking Pinkie Pie who was a little darker than the original were looking dazed. The pegasus version of Pinkie Pie suddenly gasped and said,
"I'm outside!"
"So that's the one we've been trapped inside all these years," said the straight-haired one.
"Let's get her!" shouted the pegasus. They pounced on Pinkie, and fight started.
"Pinkie, stop fighting with...... Yourself!" shouted Twilight, "I cast the wrong spell! It's split your personality into your bubbly floating side, and your..... Insane, depressed side."
"Sorry about that," said the pegasus, "my name's Surprise." The other one sighed and said,
"I'm Pinkamena." Suddenly, there was a rumble from outside. Then another. Then another. The 4 ponies ran outside, and gasped. Yes, even Pinkamena. The sky was cracking open!
The gap in the sky widened into a hole. Twilight saw Rainbow Dash fly up to it. Phew she thought, Rainbow will take care of it. But that wasn't happening. Rainbow flew up to take a closer look, and got sucked in. Panic ensued in ponyville. Fluttershy, Rarity and Applejack gathered at Twilight's house. It took a moment for Twilight to tell them what happened to Pinkie.
"Look!" shouted Rarity. Princess Celestia and Luna where being sucked into the ever-growing crack in the sky.
"Princess!" shouted Twilight. Applejack had to hold her back from trying to save them. Fluttershy had fainted, and the strong wind from the vortex was pulling her into the air. Rarity grabbed Fluttershy's tail, and was immediately pulled into the air too. Applejack grabbed Rarity, Twilight grabbed Applejack, Pinkie grabbed Twilight, and Surprise and Pinkamena followed suit. Soon, they had all been pulled into the sucking vortex and screamed all the way. The mane 6 looked around, it was twirling and purple in there. Fluttershy was breathing heavily. They saw light at the other end of the portal, and were spat out from there. It was amazing. A whole new world.
It was like a pony's house, but bigger. Everypony in Equestria was there. Rainbow got up, scratched her head, and rang the doorbell. Nopony answered.
"Come on everypony, follow me!" piped up a squeaky little voice. Everypony turned to see a white alicorn filly, wearing a too-big crown and necklace.
"Princess..... Celestia?" said an astonished Twilight.
"Yes, why wouldn't it be?" asked the Celestia filly, "wait, what happened to my voice?" Just as it was dawning Celestia what had happened to her, a panicked squeal sounded from the left of the crowd. It was Rarity! Everypony gathered around her to see what was happening. But suddenly Twilight realised that Rainbow Dash was in right beside Rarity, screaming too. Rarity's horn was twirling at a breakneck speed. It sunk down in to her skull until it wasn't there at all. Her back started to stretch out, two rips forming. A feather poked out of each rip. Then two more feathers stuck out. More and more flew out of the rips and she now had fully formed pegasus wings. Rainbow's process was very much the same, but backwards. Her feathers fell out, one by one, until her wings were gone. A little stub appeared on Rainbow's head. Like Rarity, it started to spin, soon reaching breakneck speed. It grew larger, so it looked a little like a blob. A white ring appeared at the bottom of the blob, pulling itself upwards while shrinking at the same time. It shaped the newly-finished horn. Of course! thought Twilight the portal was affecting ponies! It was dawning on Twilight that she, too, could be affected. She did feel a little tingly, but she figured it was just her imagination. But no, now everypony was staring at her. She became aware that her legs were growing small and chubby. Her cutie mark wavered, before disappearing. Her horn shrank, and before she new it, all she could think about was pony-dough. She had shrunk to a filly, in both mind and body. Fluttershy's wings flopped and wouldn't work and Applejack had body-swapped with Princess Luna. Nopony seemed the same. Heartstrings' legs were like jelly and she couldn't stand. She was being dragged along by Bon-Bon. Doctor Whooves seemed to have lost all his memory. Ditzy Doo's eyes had straightened up, but were glowing red. But Pinkie Pie had already payed her toll. At this point in time, she was chatting with her two halves.
"Twilight!" shouted the unicorn Rainbow Dash, "help us!"
"Umm..." said a floppy-winged Fluttershy, "she can't."
"What do ya mean she can't?" asked Applejack from her new princess of night body.
"Well," explained the pegasus Rarity, "she's a filly."
"SHE'S A WHAT???" chorused everypony else.
"A filly," repeated Rarity. Everypony turned to see Twilight sitting there, playing with her hooves.
Rainbow had led everypony to some sort of play park.
"We'll take shelter here," she had declared. Rarity immediately bagged the cleanliest spot she could find. They could be harbouring there for months, and rarity didn't want to be caught dirty. Everypony had found themselves a comfy spot in playground. They hid. Someone was coming. A human. A little girl. She saw a quick flash of purple and inspected. A pony? A pony! Finally, she had found them.
"Come out, everypony, I know you're here," she called. Everypony wondered how this had happened. How did this little human girl find them?
"Follow me," called the little girl. The ponies didn't follow. She could be anyone. The girl sighed, reached down, and picked up Pinkamena. She left down the path while Pinkamena screamed, "HELP!!!" at the top of her voice. They gasped. Pinkamena had been ponynapped!
