Waking up in the Everfree Forest in the dead of winter, you start your time in Equestria seeing it from a less welcoming point of view than one might expect. Freezing to death and meeting a not too friendly wildlife you come close to death, until you meet her.

Saved and taken in by a yellow pegasus, you must now come to terms with living in a new world and having a new station in life.

First couple of chapters:

Starts off slow with no clop to build up the story and get it safely out of the harbor, ...then we set sail for the sea of clop.
