Princess Celestia learns of an ancient threat to Equestria which is older than the country itself. Unable to confront the threat herself due to a strange, timeless rule, she must once again entrust the fate of Equestria to Twilight Sparkle and her friends. But this threat is more powerful than anything anypony has seen before, and will put their friendship to the ultimate test.
