It was a beautiful Equestrian Sunday night. The full moon shone brightly into the town streets of Ponyville, as if trying to find any unwanted intruders wandering. The only sound that filled the air was the soothing yet eerie sound of the wind blowing through the streets and shaking a few of the hanging flower pots on some of the houses. Most of the town folk had already expired for the night, knowing that they would have to be up and early for work. Across the whole town only a few lights remained on, and one of them was coming from Twilight’s library and a faint blue glow was coming from her window…
Twilight’s room was in disarray. Books were thrown over the floor without any care what so ever and scrolls were littered across the floor without any sort of care at all as well. The only light that filled her room was the dim glow coming from her tv.
“Ohhhh….come on I’m sooo close…” Twilight moaned in her room as she grabbed a cloth and wiped her forehead to get the sweat out of her.
For the last few hours Twilight shut herself into her room after receiving a very special gift from Spike. At first she was reluctant to try it but over the next few hours she fell madly in love with it. Apart from her heavy breathing and the soreness starting to form in her hoof, she was enjoying herself immensely. Over the course of her time with it, she finally started to gain a proper rhythm, considering a few times she finished up to soon. To her it was the greatest thing she ever got and she couldn’t stop playing with it.
“How did I miss out on this for so long~? I can see why Dash and Pinkie Pie love this thing as much as I do. Ohhhhh~ Maybe we should get together on occasion and triple team it!...So what if only two ponies can play with it at a time!? I’ll figure out a way!” Twilight said breathing heavily as she continued to move her hoof at a steady but satisfying rate.
Twilight continued to go with her steady pace in her dimly lit room. A few times she would light up her horn and grab the water bottle to re-hydrate herself. After a few large gulps of water, she was ready to keep on going. Soon she would have to refill it downstairs.
The smell of sweaty fur lingered in the air and wet cloths filled with sweat laid all over her floor from the constant use of her new toy. She wanted to put it away, she really did, but once she did put it down, her mind and body wanted to continue playing with it. It was to fun to put away, and too mind boggling to stop.
Spike was busily reorganizing the library book shelves. Ever since he gave Twilight her that toy that Dash and Pinkie Pie were always bragging about a few hours ago, he was starting to get worried as bed time was starting to near.
“She can’t be using it for this long can she? I’m surprised a book worm like her can even work it right. She’ll have to get tired of it eventually.” Spike said to himself realizing that Twilight should have been down helping him reorganize every book the library had, considering it was Sunday.
Not wanting to bother her alone time, Spike just continued to reshelf all the books in hope Twilight would finish up, come downstairs and notice it was all done for her. What he really hoped for was that she would be so impressed he would get a fire ruby for his job. As he thought about a ruby, his eyes turned to the gem chest not far from his spot and his mouth watered at the thought of getting a fire ruby to eat.
“Oh gosh…I’m so close….come on…just a bit…further. Come on you stupid hoof don’t get tired on me yet! We are so close….so close….oh…oh gosh…there it is! There it is! YES! Oh my gosh YES!! Spike!! Spike I did it!!! I finally did it!!” Twilight shouted as her hoof fell to the floor and she stared onward with a satisfied stare.
Spike heard her voice and quickly and ran upstairs to see what she was yelling about. The second he opened the door his face feel into shook.
“T-Twilight!? Wha-what did you do!? A-And why are there wet cloths everywhere! H-how long were you using it!?” Spike said in a panic as he stares into the room of Twilight’s.
“I did it Spike…I finally did it…after so many hours of finishing too early I did it right…” Twilight said still trying to catch her breath.
Spike put his hand to his head and just shook it in shame.
“I can see you having fun with it for maybe one or two times a day, but almost four hours of using it non-stop!?”
“B-but Spike it’s sooooo addicting. You should try it!! You’ll never get tired of it!” Twilight said giving him a big catlike grin while handing it to him.
“Uhhhh...yeah no, I think it suits you better. But I think you should take a break for the rest of the day.” Spike said getting more worried about her condition.
“You’re no fun….I THINK I’M GOING TO DO IT AGAIN! Just one more time!!” Twilight said as she started to play with it again.
Spike wanted to stop her, but knew it would be pointless. Once she started something up, or matter how tired she was, she would finish it.
“Twilight…I’m seriously regretting getting you that Wolf Puncher game.” Spike said as he turned for the door and closed it behind him.
