A weather pony Thunder Roller celebrates his eight year anniversary with his Wife Flare dancer unfourtunatly after the dinner they are attacked by a royal guard who kills Flare dancer. A lawyer earth pony named Cane Warper witnesses the event and agrees to help Thunder seek revenge but thunder soon becomes reluctant to accept after he finds out that Cane is known to be dishonest even though he might be the best lawyer in Ponyville and thunders only chance of getting revenge and uncovering a secret that could ruin Equestria if it isn't stopped.
