Abandoned

Fluttershy was tending to her animals at her cottage on the edge of the Everfree Forest. She just had to feed Angel Bunny, then she would be done. But as she was grabbing Angel's food from a high shelf, the ground started shaking, ever so slightly. She did not notice anything, until the shaking got more intense and a glass of water was shaking on her table.

She froze.

Fluttershy had remembered Twilight telling her about quakes, and how they rumble the ground, just like what was happening right now.

"Twilight said another quake wasn't supposed to happen for another 900 years!" Fluttershy said, frantically.

The rumbling had gotten so strong, it was now shaking her whole house. She thought the cottage would collapse right on top of her. Fluttershy was still frozen in place, standing on the ladder, reaching for Angel's food. A falling book that nearly struck her in the head snapped her out of her trance, and she leaped off the ladder, cracking the step she was on.

Fluttershy dove under a sturdy table, to ensure nothing fell on her. She was so scared. She could barely even move, let alone keep a regular breathing pattern. She feared that her animals might get hurt. Fluttershy had to get to them. She had to save them. Fluttershy reached out from under the table with one of her hooves, but a support beam from the roof had fallen and nearly crushed her foreleg. She shot for hoof back under the table, and shrieked like never before.

"EEEEEEEEK!!!" Fluttershy screamed.

Fluttershy had begun crying like no tomorrow, and now was pretty much blind. Through her tears, she saw a small white object frantically running around.

Angel.

"Angel! I'm over here!" Fluttershy called out.

From what Fluttershy could see, Angel had swung his head to where Fluttershy was, and was now running at her.

Fluttershy had opened her wing, motioning with her hoof for angel to hide under it. When Angel was curled up inside her wing, she closed it.

Fluttershy curled up into the smallest ball possible, while cradling little Angel Bunny.

They were both covered in each others tears, while shaking at insane speeds, hoping for it to be all over.
