"I wish" said the mint colored mare "I wish I had my lyre back" said an excessively sad Lyra heartstrings she she closed her eyes and kept wishing with all her might that her plea would be answered remembering how she had lost her lyre that day during an odd stampede of rabbits the vibrations and shaked the instrument off a table and into the path of the scared bunny s she didn't blame them it wasn't their fault not even the local instrument maker and fixer Finetune couldn't salvage her beloved lyre she had intended to meet with her friends Bon-Bon,Cherilee and Colgate and stopped at a cafe with them for a bite to eat.when the frightened animals bolted through the town.Her friends stayed to comfort her for a while before she went to the music store to see if her instrument could be resurrected without any luck so she started her slow sad walk back home she had spent the rest of the day moping around her house and decided to go outside and look to the stars for guidance she looked up at the sky again praying for her beloved music maker.finally giving up hope she inside and straight to bed without even the thought of dinner the annihilated remains of her dreams on her bedside table as she lay in her bed she felt herself slowly drifting to sleep she turned over expecting to see nothing but darkness wasted hope but in fact found quite the opposite there was a glowing silver arlicorn bigger than a bear and still in between the roof and floor without actually touching either "princess Celestia" the sleepy pony inquired the arlicorn just shook its head waved its hoof over the bed side table and the lyre rose and repaired itself the unicorn shook her head with disbelief and jumped out of bed held her lyre still unable to comprehend what was happening she looked to the arlicorn and hugged it tightly "thank you thank you thank you" the arlicron just whispered to her rather deeply "think nothing of it" and then dissapeared. The unicorn just looked back at her lyre and saw the entire thing was not only fixed and cleaned but also bore the mark on her flank like she had always wanted she turned back to where the glowing one had been and saw only a little silver powder on the floor. It glowed like the stars themselves she walked up close and inspected it carefully and saw it was dispersing as well so she got a jar and tried to collect as much as she could and it regained its glow the set the jar in her draw and hoped it would bring good luck. By now the excitement died down and felt tired once more she trotted over to her bed and went to sleep almost instantly.the next morning when she awoke she checked her lyre again as last night it was still there she checked her draw and found the dust there as well she then had a thought she got ready to go out put her saddlebag on and placed her lyre inside and head out to where she knew her friends would be. They were surprised to not see her grief stricken in fact that seemed to be the furthest from the truth she seemed happier than any pony had ever seen "whats with the good mood we thought you wouldn't even come outside for a week?" questioned a confused Colgate "yeah we were all going to go to your house to see if we could help."asked Bon-Bon "no need girls" a touched Lyra replied "what do you mean?" asked Cherrilee "check this out" answered Lyra as she pulled out her lyre and all her friends gasped "is that the same one as yesterday?" asked a dumbfounded Bon-Bon "it couldn't be we all saw it it was smashed beyond repair Finetune said so him self" returned Cherrilee "and it didn't have you cutie mark on it" added Colgate "it's the same one that I've always had" replied Lyra all the other ones just stared at her in shock meanwhile behind her came bouncing up seeing such awe Pinkie pie stopped at their table a curious pinkie pie asked "what's every pony so surprised about?" then noticed the lyre "so you got a new lyre see its not all bad about your old one getting broken it looks even better than the other one did" "this is my old one" the musican replied "so tell us what happened" Bon-Bon nagged "well i went home yesterday and i just wasn't able to bring myself to do anything so i went outside at night and wish that it would b repaired to the stars nothing happened so i put my lyre on my bedside table and try to sleep but then i see the room was filled with sliver light i roll over and see a arlicorn" everypony gasped "i know so i ask if it's Celestia and it just shakes its head waves its hoof over my lyre and then it just fixed itself and everything i thank it go up to and hug it and it says think nothing of it" Lyra retells "the next thing i know the arlicorn vannishes leaving this dust"she says as she takes the glowing powder out of her out of her saddle bag and sets it on the table. All the poies are just left stuned, pinkie pie marvels at the powder and says "you should show this to twlight mabey she knows somthing about it." "hmmm mabey i should" lyra contimplates "are you mad meet an arlicorn like that what if it doesn't wnat you to" Cherrilee "yeah they did say think nothing of it"Colgate interjects lyra ignores them packs up her stuff and follows Pinkie pie to Twilights house.
