In all of Equestria, for that matter. Everypony was enjoying the wonderful weather ("Thank you, Cloudsdale and Celestia!"), and one pony in particular was just waking up. A steady snore could be heard from any pony who went to the door of a certain pegasus. Of course, it would have to be a pegasus or a unicorn with the spell to walk on clouds, because this pony had a cloud house. She slept with her face in her pillow, drool forming a puddle on it. The sheets, which had the Wonder Bolt insignia on it, were bunched up so that they only covered her back, leaving her rump and tail uncovered. One hind leg hung off the edge of the bed, and so did one foreleg. The pegasus woke with a start, trying to hold herself up with her forelegs but failing. She ended up falling off the bed, taking the linens with her. "Ow!" she shrieked as she hit her head on her side table, knocking over the lamp. Her Daring Do book fell off, opening and landing pages-down. "Darn it! How did that happen?" she asked nopony in particular. She felt lightheaded from having woken up and falling, and shook her head to clear her vision. When she saw the damage she had done, she facehoofed. I can't believe falling off the bed did all of that. Oh well, my coolness is still there! Guess I woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Slowly, so as to not overdo herself more than she already had after waking up, she picked up the book off of the floor... ...only to realize she had lost her place. Alarms in her head went off, and she instantly tried to find the bookmark she had gotten from the WonderCon years back. She found it lying under the side table and picked it up. She put it back in the book to page 42, where she had left off. The mare repositioned the lamp so that it was upright, then put the book next to it. Rainbow Dash turned back to the bed and saw the sheets in a pile, but still on the bed. She facehoofed again and sighed at the thought of remaking her bed. It has to be done, Rainbow Dash. What else will cover you? She separated the sheet from the comforter and put the sheet on the bed first. Rainbow moved her hoof across the sheet to make sure there were no creases that would be noticeable by another pony. Next, she tucked the foot corners of the comforter under mattress and straightened it so that it would come up to the pillows. The sky blue mare positioned the two pillows and the decorative one so that they would look presentable to Fluttershy when she came over tonight. The previous day, Rainbow Dash had invited Fluttershy to come over at 8:00 PM the next day to play a new game she had downloaded called Slender. A lot of ponies on the Equestrianet had said they screamed like fillies...when they were grown stallions. She had thought, Pssh! Scared? Me? Never! I'm going to try it with Fluttershy and see for myself just how scary it is! But something inside her was telling her to not play it. As she trotted to the bathroom, she realized what a mess her mane looked! Rainbow took the brush sitting on the bathroom counter into her hoof and started brushing. By the time she was done, the little nagging feeling of foreboding still tickled at her. She ignored it and trotted to the kitchen to make breakfast. On her way there,she tried to decide what to have. Last night's leftovers? No. Cereal? Don't have any. Pancakes? Maybe. With French Toast? YES! She got out the necessary items to make both items, and got to work. But before she could get started, somepony knocked on the door. She figured it was Fluttershy, because first of all, she was a pegasus, and second of all, the knock was barely audible. She put down the griddle she had grabbed and trotted to the door. Thank goddesses I brushed my hair. Just as she had guessed, the pony at the door was Fluttershy. "Oh, um, hello Rainbow Dash..." she said quietly. "How are you this morning?" "Oh, I'm fine," Rainbow replied, "I was just making breakfast. You can have some if you want," she offered, gesturing with her hoof that she could come in. "Oh, thank you, Rainbow Dash!" Fluttershy said happily. "What were you about to make?" "Pancakes and french toast!" Dash yelled from the kitchen. "Ooh! My favorite! Thank you, Dashie!" Fluttershy shouted back. Rainbow froze. She slowly turned towards Fluttershy and said, "That's the name Pinkie uses for me. How did you know?" "It was something Pinkie taught me! And I think you like it when somepony calls you that..." Fluttershy motioned towards her wings, which were spread. Dash looked at them and her cheeks instantly turned the opposite of her coat color. Fluttershy started laughing hysterically, and Dash protested, "It's not funny!" Fluttershy instantly stopped laughing and apologized. "I'm really sorry, Rainbow Dash. I'm sorry if I offended you." "Aw, Flutters, you can use my pet name if you want. I'll use yours, like I just did," Rainbow replied. "Oh, ok," Fluttershy replied, brightening a little. "Are the pancakes and french toast ready yet?" "No, not yet." There was silence, except for the pancake batter sizzling on the griddle. And the toaster toasting the toast. "So, Rainbow Dash?" "Mm?" "Have you been thinking about going to the audition for the Wonder Bolts?" Fluttershy asked. "Nah, if I actually did make it, I wouldn't get any time with my friends, let alone if I became captain." "Aww, that's sweet!" Fluttershy declared gleefully. "Breakfast is ready!" Rainbow shouted, balancing two plates on both of her wings. "Ooh, that looks delicious!" Fluttershy declared, grabbing one of the plates as Dash lowered it to her level. The french toast was a prefect golden brown, and the pancakes were the same. The powdered sugar on the toast clashed with the maple syrup drizzled across the top perfectly, and the simple, perfect square of butter accented the syrup on the pancakes. Fluttershy grabbed a fork and took a bite of pancake and of some toast. The flavors sang with sweetness when they touched her tongue. "Dashie, you told me you couldn't cook for nothing. This is amazing! "Well, it's one of the only things I'm really good at making," Dash admitted. "That's why." "It's still something, though." Silence. "So what's that game Slender about? If you don't mind me asking..." Fluttershy asked. The sky blue mare stopped eating. "Do you really want to know? It's pretty scary...not to me, but you know." Dash asked cautiously. Fluttershy nodded eagerly, overlooking what else Rainbow Dash said. It was pretty normal. "Well...." Dash set her fork down. "It's basically where you are in this really dark forest, and you have to find 8 pages that are scattered throughout the forest. But, there is a pony as tall as Celestia that is chasing after you. You can't let him get to you, or else you die." Fluttershy shuddered at this, but kept listening. "He has no face. He is completely white, and he has no mane or tail. But he wears a black suit, and he has tentacles that, um...what's a better word than 'come?' Protrude! Yeah, they protrude from his back. A lot of ponies think it's scary, but I don't think he looks scary." Fluttershy was white with fear by the time she was done explaining. "You don't actually...die...do you?" "No! No, no, you just die on the game. You still stay alive in real life." "Oh, okay. Well, I'd best be getting back to my cottage. My animals will be wondering where I am!" Fluttershy declared, etting up from where she sat. She had finished her meal, and she gave the plate to Dash for her to wash. "Thank you for letting me have some breakfast with you!" "You're welcome! And remember," Dash continued, making Fluttershy turn back from the door. "8:00." "Right. I won't be late!" "Okay! Bye!" FluttershyFluttershy Plays Slender Nervously, Fluttershy knocked quietly on the door to Dash's house. She could barely hear some wing flaps as she heard Dash fly down to open the door. The locks clicked from the inside, and the door opened to reveal Rainbow Dash with some iLuv headphones around her neck. "Hey, you made it!" the blue mare declared. "Come on in!" "Are you sure this is a good idea?" Fluttershy asked cautiously. "I mean, you said it was scary, so I don't know..." "Come on, Flutters," Rainbow reassured her, placing a foreleg around her shoulders. "It may be scary now, but later on, we'll laugh about it. I'll even take video of us playing, and then I'll copy it and give you one." "Aw, thanks!" Fluttershy said happily. "That would be nice!" "But, we have to actually play the game to get the videos," Dash reminded her, her expression darkening. "Right, I know..." Fluttershy trailed off, the fear setting in again. She reminded herself that she was going to try to be brave, and hold out here. "My computer is upstairs in my room. I think it's really nice, considering it's a BigMacBook laptop," Rainbow told her. They headed up the stairs, and trotted down the hallway until they came to the door in the center at the end. Dash pushed it open, and Fluttershy was amazed at how elaborate it was. First of all, the sign on the outside said, "You Can Only Come In Unless You Are 20% Cooler!" But when she walked in, she saw how worthy it was to be said amount of coolness. The bed was in the far left corner of the room, and she noticed a sign she saw a lot of times on Dash's drawings. Next, she noticed the side table that was vanilla colored, and the lamp that had a blue base and a white shade. She also noticed the Daring Do book. "Still into those Daring Do books?" Fluttershy asked. "Of course! They're filled with danger and suspense, which is my game!" Rainbow replied, raising her hoof in some sort of triumph. Fluttershy kept looking around at the room... ...and saw Dash's desk. It probably would've looked nerdy to a pony who was a little too active and didn't go online at all. But, even Fluttershy, who wasn't very active on the EquestriaNet, thought it looked freaking awesome. The computer was the BigMacBook laptop, of course, but there was a skin on it that was light blue (she guessed customized) with Dash's cutie mark with what looked black ink spilled in drops behind it. There was a cobblestone from Minepony on her desk, but it was instead a note pad which had a crack in it on the pages that became worse on each page. She knew because she had seen it online before, but it was 10 bits, which she thought was ridiculous. There was a sound mixer, a seperate, bulkier headset on top of the computer, a micophone, an iPony touch charger, a video camera, a pencil cup, a mesh organizer, and finally-a medallion of Dash's own cutie mark. Next to the desk was a video camera stand, and Fluttershy guessed she might use that for taking the videos. Behind said desk was a poster of the Wonderbolts that Fluttershy noticed was signed by Spitfire and Soarin'. On the floor was a very soft carpet that was a very light blue, but a pale, almost white blue. "My, Dashie, what a nice room you have." "Eh," Rainbow replied, "I guess the room itself is alright, but I think my setup over there-" Dash gestured to her desk, "-is pretty bucking beast. It's a known fact." "So, where's the game?" Fluttershy asked, looking around the room and wanting to get it over with. "Oh, well, first, I need to set up my camera if we want to take video. I have a PonyTube account, and I have a series of reaction videos on there. So, I can show you my introduction for them if you want," the blue mare replied. "Ok, sure!" Dash went over to the desk and sat down in the chair. She opened the lid and the computer sprung to life. A piece of art she had worked on was her desktop picture, and pressed a small button on the built-in keyboard. The picture dimmed, and there were small, different colored squares on the bottom. The pegasus clicked on one of them, and the square instantly grew to be Pony Chrome. The tab currently opened was PonyTube, and it had Rainbow's channel open. The featured video was "RDR Ep 5-GET ME AWAY FROM THESE PARASPRITES! ;_;-Amnesia: The Small Horse-Part 2." Rainbow dash clicked on it and the intro started playing. It was her chair-dancing to the song Ponygroove, and across the bottom read "Rainbow Dash Reacts." Her and the writing disappeared to show more writing, which said, "to Amnesia: The Small Horse!" Dash paused the video and asked, "Well? What do you think?" "Um, it was nice." "That's cool. You're going to be the star of RDR-Episode 6!" Rainbow told her. "Oh, um, that's nice!" Fluttershy replied. "Will you have to do your intro?" "Yeah, but then we can get it rolling with Slender!" "Hey, everypony!" Dash said to the camera. "It's Rainbow Dash here, and I'm here with my best friend Fluttershy! Say hi, Flutters." "Hi, PonyTube," Fluttershy greeted, looking at the camera. "Today, she's going to play Slender with me! I'm sure you guys will have a laugh while she has a scream. By the way, I say 'she' because I won't scream. "Anyway! Let's get the ball rolling, shall we?" Dash pressed a button on the camera and the recording was paused. "Okay, I need to open the game really quick." Fluttershy waited for her to open it, and she asked gingerly as she opened it, "So, who will go first? C-could I?" "Hm? Oh yeah, that's fine." "Ok, thank you." Rainbow went back over to the video camera and pressed the pause button again. "Alright, my friend Fluttershy has asked if she can play first, so she will do that! Let's watch her." Fluttershy clicked on the word "play" after having read the controls. A message, which was also her objective, came up saying, "Collect all 8 pages." "Oh, this doesn't look so bad. Except for the dark, scary..." she trailed off. She began walking forward and noticed that she had a flashlight. She breathed a sigh of relief, but Dash told her, "Don't do that yet. Slendercolt is still chasing you." "Oh, alright." Fluttershy forced herself to keep calm in this forest, because she knew that Slendercolt was more of a threat than the forest. "Okay, I think I see a page," Fluttershy told Dash after a while. Dash looked at the screen over the camera, and, sure enough, she saw a page. Fluttershy was inside a gray tunnel when she found the first page. Immediately after she picked up the page, a bass drum started playing. It startled Fluttershy, and she jumped a little. "What is that?" she asked Rainbow Dash. "Oh, after you pick up the first note, a drum starts playing, signaling that Slendercolt is after you. After you pick up more notes, the music builds up until it sounds like the music from those horror movies. Pretty creepy. Not to me, though," Rainbow added hastily. "Just keep moving, or else Slendercolt will get you." "Eep!" Fluttershy squeaked. She went back to the game and started sprinting. She turned to her right and saw the inevitable in the distance. Slendercolt. "Shit!"Fluttershy shouted(it was normal volume for ponies), instantly covering her mouth. Still playing, she asked, "Oh my, should I have said that? I hope it didn't ruin your video." "Nah, Flutters, I curse all the time in my videos. One of my friends saying it isn't bad." "Okay, good. I just don't-OH NO!" When she had turned around, Slendercolt was closer to her. Instantly, she began sprinting again. After a while, she came to a monstrous tree. She found a page on it, and the music got worse. By now, Fluttershy was shaking, but she kept her composure. "I can do this!" she suddenly said, strongly. After about a minute, she came to a brick building. "Oh, safe house! I need to get inside." Dash suppressed a laugh with her hoof. She had heard that the house was actually the most dangerous place to be if you were trying to find the fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, or eighth note, since he came there a lot. She would have to give Fluttershy an unedited version of the video, then put the edited one on PonyTube. By now, Fluttershy was in the room with the chair. "Odd," she said, "Why would there be a chair in such a blank room? Maybe they thought it would add accent." On the wall next to the chair, there was the third page. She read what it said aloud. "No, no, no, no, no....weird." When Fluttershy turned around to head out, she saw Slendercolt directly behind her. "AAAAAAAAGGHH!!" she screamed, toppling out of the chair. When she was ready, she began walking around, looking for the first page to get Slendercolt to start chasing after her. She found the first note on the side of a yellow and blue house, near a cart. "Hah! Easy peasy," she bragged as the bass drum started. Fluttershy was still under the bed. Dash kept looking around for the second note and decided to try to find the house that Fluttershy had seen Slender in. After 5 minutes, the brick house came into view, and she started sprinting towards her goal. She went inside the house and went into the room with the chair. Hmm, maybe instead of going directly for the note, I'll back into the room and grab it that way, Dash thought. Slowly, she turned around and backed into the room. When she saw the note come into view, she turned, grabbed it, and headed back out. "Ha, I guess by getting 2 notes in under 5 minutes, I'm-" "Dashie! Please, don't say that anymore. It's getting old," Fluttershy interrupted from under the bed. "Sorry, but it is." Rainbow sighed. "Fine, I won't say it anymore." She turned her attention back to the game. After a few minutes, she came upon the yellow and red containers. She looked on all of them, and on the last one she looked at, she found her third note. "Aha! Found you!" she said to herself. She picked it up, and the music changed. "Ooo, creepy!" Dash declared, grinning. "I like that!" She turned around and saw Slendercolt. "AAAAAA-I knew that was going to happen!" she said hastily, her scream turning into the word "I." It was Fluttershy's turn to suppress a laugh. Rainbow looked at the camera and smiled nervously. "Well, I guess it's confirmed that Slendercolt's after me. Bother." Dash tried to sound bored, but failed. She tried to soften the failure's blow by resting her head on her hoof. "I wish this pony was a pegasus. Then, I could fly and scan the forest for pages. Oh well, we can't always get what we want. Right, Slendercolt?" she bragged. She turned and saw Slendercolt close to her. "Stupid pony! You jinxed my statement!" she shouted. "Oh well, I guess I'll just have to try a little harder to beat this." She sprinted, revealing that she was scared out of her coat, but trying to hide it. She stumbled upon the monstrous tree that Fluttershy had also stumbled upon. She went around the tree, looking for the note. When she saw it, it read, "Behind you." "BEHIND ME?!" Dash asked loudly. She slowly turned around. Nopony was there. "Ha, it would be funny if I had thought somepony was behind me, wouldn't it?" Dash asked nervously. "Oh boy, that would be HILARIOUS!" Fluttershy crept out from under the bed. "Um, Dashie?" "Hm?" "Not to be rude or anything, but why do you act like you're not scared when, clearly, you are?" she asked. As Dash turned to look at her, Fluttershy pointed at her wings, which were spread. Rainbow Dash facehoofed. "Not again!" But, as she watched Fluttershy roll on the floor, laughing, she started laughing, too. After a minute, she wiped the tears from her eyes and said, "Wow, Flutters, you are awesome at observing things like that. By the way, it's part of my character for this series." They started laughing again, but were quickly interrupted by a sudden striking noise. Dash froze, and slowly turned to look at the game. Hoof shaking, she moved the mouse so she could turn around. Slendercolt was in her face. "...BUCK!" she screamed, toppling out of the chair. The static came up again, making Dash and Fluttershy's ears hurt. "Well!" Fluttershy declared. "That certainly was thrilling. Thank you for letting me play that Dashie!" "Ha, no problem." Rainbow reached up and hit the pause button on the video camera. She quickly started flying and helped Fluttershy up. Both pegasi were now flying. Dash took the video camera into her hooves and faced it toward her and Fluttershy. She hit the pause button again and started talking. "Thank you for watching this video! I hope you enjoyed both my reaction and Fluttershy's! I'm not really one to get into all those relationship tings, but I like to see how my friends are doing in their relationships!" Dash smiled, and Fluttershy smiled back. "But," Rainbow said, her expression darkening. "Just tell me if he starts acting strange, like he's wanting more, if you know what I mean." "Don't worry, Dashie, I will. And by the way..." Fluttershy continued. "Ask Rarity if she can hook you up with somepony, like a nice, middle-aged colt." "Ha, okay." "What is this?" Sweetie Belle asked Scootaloo and Apple Bloom. They were on Applejack's PONY computer. They had just seen a video in the related section with the title, "SLENDER." "Hmm..." Scootaloo replied, reading the title. "'Slender' looks like some horror game." They all collectively looked at each other and smiled. "CUTIE MARK CRUSADER SLENDER PLAYERS! YAY!" they shouted in unison. Fluttershy declared, grabbing one of the plates as Dash lowered it to her level. The french toast was a prefect golden brown, and the pancakes were the same. The powdered sugar on the toast clashed with the maple syrup drizzled across the top perfectly, and the simple, perfect square of butter accented the syrup on the pancakes. Fluttershy grabbed a fork and took a bite of pancake and of some toast. The flavors sang with sweetness when they touched her tongue. "Dashie, you told me you couldn't cook for nothing. This is amazing! "Well, it's one of the only things I'm really good at making," Dash admitted. "That's why." "It's still something, though." Silence. "So what's that game Slender about? If you don't mind me asking..." Fluttershy asked. The sky blue mare stopped eating. "Do you really want to know? It's pretty scary...not to me, but you know." Dash asked cautiously. Fluttershy nodded eagerly, overlooking what else Rainbow Dash said. It was pretty normal. "Well...." Dash set her fork down. "It's basically where you are in this really dark forest, and you have to find 8 pages that are scattered throughout the forest. But, there is a pony as tall as Celestia that is chasing after you. You can't let him get to you, or else you die." Fluttershy shuddered at this, but kept listening. "He has no face. He is completely white, and he has no mane or tail. But he wears a black suit, and he has tentacles that, um...what's a better word than 'come?' Protrude! Yeah, they protrude from his back. A lot of ponies think it's scary, but I don't think he looks scary." Fluttershy was white with fear by the time she was done explaining. "You don't actually...die...do you?" "No! No, no, you just die on the game. You still stay alive in real life." "Oh, okay. Well, I'd best be getting back to my cottage. My animals will be wondering where I am!" Fluttershy declared, etting up from where she sat. She had finished her meal, and she gave the plate to Dash for her to wash. "Thank you for letting me have some breakfast with you!" "You're welcome! And remember," Dash continued, making Fluttershy turn back from the door. "8:00." "Right. I won't be late!" "Okay! Bye!"
FluttershyFluttershy Plays Slender Nervously, Fluttershy knocked quietly on the door to Dash's house. She could barely hear some wing flaps as she heard Dash fly down to open the door. The locks clicked from the inside, and the door opened to reveal Rainbow Dash with some iLuv headphones around her neck. "Hey, you made it!" the blue mare declared. "Come on in!" "Are you sure this is a good idea?" Fluttershy asked cautiously. "I mean, you said it was scary, so I don't know..." "Come on, Flutters," Rainbow reassured her, placing a foreleg around her shoulders. "It may be scary now, but later on, we'll laugh about it. I'll even take video of us playing, and then I'll copy it and give you one." "Aw, thanks!" Fluttershy said happily. "That would be nice!" "But, we have to actually play the game to get the videos," Dash reminded her, her expression darkening. "Right, I know..." Fluttershy trailed off, the fear setting in again. She reminded herself that she was going to try to be brave, and hold out here. "My computer is upstairs in my room. I think it's really nice, considering it's a BigMacBook laptop," Rainbow told her. They headed up the stairs, and trotted down the hallway until they came to the door in the center at the end. Dash pushed it open, and Fluttershy was amazed at how elaborate it was. First of all, the sign on the outside said, "You Can Only Come In Unless You Are 20% Cooler!" But when she walked in, she saw how worthy it was to be said amount of coolness. The bed was in the far left corner of the room, and she noticed a sign she saw a lot of times on Dash's drawings. Next, she noticed the side table that was vanilla colored, and the lamp that had a blue base and a white shade. She also noticed the Daring Do book. "Still into those Daring Do books?" Fluttershy asked. "Of course! They're filled with danger and suspense, which is my game!" Rainbow replied, raising her hoof in some sort of triumph. Fluttershy kept looking around at the room... ...and saw Dash's desk. It probably would've looked nerdy to a pony who was a little too active and didn't go online at all. But, even Fluttershy, who wasn't very active on the EquestriaNet, thought it looked freaking awesome. The computer was the BigMacBook laptop, of course, but there was a skin on it that was light blue (she guessed customized) with Dash's cutie mark with what looked black ink spilled in drops behind it. There was a cobblestone from Minepony on her desk, but it was instead a note pad which had a crack in it on the pages that became worse on each page. She knew because she had seen it online before, but it was 10 bits, which she thought was ridiculous. There was a sound mixer, a seperate, bulkier headset on top of the computer, a micophone, an iPony touch charger, a video camera, a pencil cup, a mesh organizer, and finally-a medallion of Dash's own cutie mark. Next to the desk was a video camera stand, and Fluttershy guessed she might use that for taking the videos. Behind said desk was a poster of the Wonderbolts that Fluttershy noticed was signed by Spitfire and Soarin'. On the floor was a very soft carpet that was a very light blue, but a pale, almost white blue. "My, Dashie, what a nice room you have." "Eh," Rainbow replied, "I guess the room itself is alright, but I think my setup over there-" Dash gestured to her desk, "-is pretty bucking beast. It's a known fact." "So, where's the game?" Fluttershy asked, looking around the room and wanting to get it over with. "Oh, well, first, I need to set up my camera if we want to take video. I have a PonyTube account, and I have a series of reaction videos on there. So, I can show you my introduction for them if you want," the blue mare replied. "Ok, sure!" Dash went over to the desk and sat down in the chair. She opened the lid and the computer sprung to life. A piece of art she had worked on was her desktop picture, and pressed a small button on the built-in keyboard. The picture dimmed, and there were small, different colored squares on the bottom. The pegasus clicked on one of them, and the square instantly grew to be Pony Chrome. The tab currently opened was PonyTube, and it had Rainbow's channel open. The featured video was "RDR Ep 5-GET ME AWAY FROM THESE PARASPRITES! ;_;-Amnesia: The Small Horse-Part 2." Rainbow dash clicked on it and the intro started playing. It was her chair-dancing to the song Ponygroove, and across the bottom read "Rainbow Dash Reacts." Her and the writing disappeared to show more writing, which said, "to Amnesia: The Small Horse!" Dash paused the video and asked, "Well? What do you think?" "Um, it was nice." "That's cool. You're going to be the star of RDR-Episode 6!" Rainbow told her. "Oh, um, that's nice!" Fluttershy replied. "Will you have to do your intro?" "Yeah, but then we can get it rolling with Slender!" "Hey, everypony!" Dash said to the camera. "It's Rainbow Dash here, and I'm here with my best friend Fluttershy! Say hi, Flutters." "Hi, PonyTube," Fluttershy greeted, looking at the camera. "Today, she's going to play Slender with me! I'm sure you guys will have a laugh while she has a scream. By the way, I say 'she' because I won't scream. "Anyway! Let's get the ball rolling, shall we?" Dash pressed a button on the camera and the recording was paused. "Okay, I need to open the game really quick." Fluttershy waited for her to open it, and she asked gingerly as she opened it, "So, who will go first? C-could I?" "Hm? Oh yeah, that's fine." "Ok, thank you." Rainbow went back over to the video camera and pressed the pause button again. "Alright, my friend Fluttershy has asked if she can play first, so she will do that! Let's watch her." Fluttershy clicked on the word "play" after having read the controls. A message, which was also her objective, came up saying, "Collect all 8 pages." "Oh, this doesn't look so bad. Except for the dark, scary..." she trailed off. She began walking forward and noticed that she had a flashlight. She breathed a sigh of relief, but Dash told her, "Don't do that yet. Slendercolt is still chasing you." "Oh, alright." Fluttershy forced herself to keep calm in this forest, because she knew that Slendercolt was more of a threat than the forest. "Okay, I think I see a page," Fluttershy told Dash after a while. Dash looked at the screen over the camera, and, sure enough, she saw a page. Fluttershy was inside a gray tunnel when she found the first page. Immediately after she picked up the page, a bass drum started playing. It startled Fluttershy, and she jumped a little. "What is that?" she asked Rainbow Dash. "Oh, after you pick up the first note, a drum starts playing, signaling that Slendercolt is after you. After you pick up more notes, the music builds up until it sounds like the music from those horror movies. Pretty creepy. Not to me, though," Rainbow added hastily. "Just keep moving, or else Slendercolt will get you." "Eep!" Fluttershy squeaked. She went back to the game and started sprinting. She turned to her right and saw the inevitable in the distance. Slendercolt. "Shit!"Fluttershy shouted(it was normal volume for ponies), instantly covering her mouth. Still playing, she asked, "Oh my, should I have said that? I hope it didn't ruin your video." "Nah, Flutters, I curse all the time in my videos. One of my friends saying it isn't bad." "Okay, good. I just don't-OH NO!" When she had turned around, Slendercolt was closer to her. Instantly, she began sprinting again. After a while, she came to a monstrous tree. She found a page on it, and the music got worse. By now, Fluttershy was shaking, but she kept her composure. "I can do this!" she suddenly said, strongly. After about a minute, she came to a brick building. "Oh, safe house! I need to get inside." Dash suppressed a laugh with her hoof. She had heard that the house was actually the most dangerous place to be if you were trying to find the fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, or eighth note, since he came there a lot. She would have to give Fluttershy an unedited version of the video, then put the edited one on PonyTube. By now, Fluttershy was in the room with the chair. "Odd," she said, "Why would there be a chair in such a blank room? Maybe they thought it would add accent." On the wall next to the chair, there was the third page. She read what it said aloud. "No, no, no, no, no....weird." When Fluttershy turned around to head out, she saw Slendercolt directly behind her. "AAAAAAAAGGHH!!" she screamed, toppling out of the chair. Static went up on the screen, and Fluttershy hid under Dash's bed. "Hahahaha!" Rainbow started laughing hysterically. "Wow! That was funny!"
Rainbow DashRainbow Dash Plays Slender "My turn! I'll show you how the pros do it!" Dash shouted, setting the video camera at a good angle to see both her and the game. As she sat down, Rainbow was feeling confident in herself that she would get all 8 pages. She typed "y" so the game could be restarted. She rubbed her hooves together as the game loaded. When she was ready, she began walking around, looking for the first page to get Slendercolt to start chasing after her. She found the first note on the side of a yellow and blue house, near a cart. "Hah! Easy peasy," she bragged as the bass drum started. Fluttershy was still under the bed. Dash kept looking around for the second note and decided to try to find the house that Fluttershy had seen Slender in. After 5 minutes, the brick house came into view, and she started sprinting towards her goal. She went inside the house and went into the room with the chair. Hmm, maybe instead of going directly for the note, I'll back into the room and grab it that way, Dash thought. Slowly, she turned around and backed into the room. When she saw the note come into view, she turned, grabbed it, and headed back out. "Ha, I guess by getting 2 notes in under 5 minutes, I'm-" "Dashie! Please, don't say that anymore. It's getting old," Fluttershy interrupted from under the bed. "Sorry, but it is." Rainbow sighed. "Fine, I won't say it anymore." She turned her attention back to the game. After a few minutes, she came upon the yellow and red containers. She looked on all of them, and on the last one she looked at, she found her third note. "Aha! Found you!" she said to herself. She picked it up, and the music changed. "Ooo, creepy!" Dash declared, grinning. "I like that!" She turned around and saw Slendercolt. "AAAAAA-I knew that was going to happen!" she said hastily, her scream turning into the word "I." It was Fluttershy's turn to suppress a laugh. Rainbow looked at the camera and smiled nervously. "Well, I guess it's confirmed that Slendercolt's after me. Bother." Dash tried to sound bored, but failed. She tried to soften the failure's blow by resting her head on her hoof. "I wish this pony was a pegasus. Then, I could fly and scan the forest for pages. Oh well, we can't always get what we want. Right, Slendercolt?" she bragged. She turned and saw Slendercolt close to her. "Stupid pony! You jinxed my statement!" she shouted. "Oh well, I guess I'll just have to try a little harder to beat this." She sprinted, revealing that she was scared out of her coat, but trying to hide it. She stumbled upon the monstrous tree that Fluttershy had also stumbled upon. She went around the tree, looking for the note. When she saw it, it read, "Behind you." "BEHIND ME?!" Dash asked loudly. She slowly turned around. Nopony was there. "Ha, it would be funny if I had thought somepony was behind me, wouldn't it?" Dash asked nervously. "Oh boy, that would be HILARIOUS!" Fluttershy crept out from under the bed. "Um, Dashie?" "Hm?" "Not to be rude or anything, but why do you act like you're not scared when, clearly, you are?" she asked. As Dash turned to look at her, Fluttershy pointed at her wings, which were spread. Rainbow Dash facehoofed. "Not again!" But, as she watched Fluttershy roll on the floor, laughing, she started laughing, too. After a minute, she wiped the tears from her eyes and said, "Wow, Flutters, you are awesome at observing things like that. By the way, it's part of my character for this series." They started laughing again, but were quickly interrupted by a sudden striking noise. Dash froze, and slowly turned to look at the game. Hoof shaking, she moved the mouse so she could turn around. Slendercolt was in her face. "...BUCK!" she screamed, toppling out of the chair. The static came up again, making Dash and Fluttershy's ears hurt. "Well!" Fluttershy declared. "That certainly was thrilling. Thank you for letting me play that Dashie!" "Ha, no problem." Rainbow reached up and hit the pause button on the video camera. She quickly started flying and helped Fluttershy up. Both pegasi were now flying. Dash took the video camera into her hooves and faced it toward her and Fluttershy. She hit the pause button again and started talking. "Thank you for watching this video! I hope you enjoyed both my reaction and Fluttershy's! Comment, like, favorite and subscribe if you haven't already! Thank you again!" Dash pressed the stop button on the video camera. "Well, that was pretty fun!" she declared. "We should do that again sometime." "Um, I think one time was enough," Fluttershy answered. "Um, well, it's early enough. What do you want to talk about?" "Oh! How's it going with that Big Mac pony?" Rainbow Dash asked, looking at Fluttershy mischievously. Fluttershy's cheeks turned bright red. "Oh, well, hehe..." she trailed off. "We kissed..." "Sorry, what was that?" Dash leaned closer to her and put her hoof behind her ear. "We kissed." "...Oh. My. Goddesses. That is so cute! Was it a peck on the cheek, or was it a full-fledged kiss, like on the lips?" Dash asked eagerly. "Well, it was a little more than that. We didn't hit it off, I can assure you of that. But we sort of made out..." Fluttershy trailed off. "Well, that is just so awesome! I'm not really one to get into all those relationship tings, but I like to see how my friends are doing in their relationships!" Dash smiled, and Fluttershy smiled back. "But," Rainbow said, her expression darkening. "Just tell me if he starts acting strange, like he's wanting more, if you know what I mean." "Don't worry, Dashie, I will. And by the way..." Fluttershy continued. "Ask Rarity if she can hook you up with somepony, like a nice, middle-aged colt." "Ha, okay." "What is this?" Sweetie Belle asked Scootaloo and Apple Bloom. They were on Applejack's PONY computer. They had just seen a video in the related section with the title, "SLENDER." "Hmm..." Scootaloo replied, reading the title. "'Slender' looks like some horror game." They all collectively looked at each other and smiled. "CUTIE MARK CRUSADER SLENDER PLAYERS! YAY!" they shouted in unison. They instantly tried to find a Download button. When they found it, they clicked and laughed. "This is going to be so fun!" Apple Bloom shouted. I'm really sorry for a shorter chapter, but hopefully you all think it's worth it!
