Pirates of the Marribbean
Prologue- Luna's descision/ Celestia's letter
Load Full StoryNext ChapterLuna looked at the three bodies hanging from nooses, and finally put the note down.
Dear Sister,
Luna snuck into the harbor, and untied Celestia's largest boat, then boarded it.
For many years I have looked out my window, and saw the bodies dangling loosely, bodies of the one thing you truly hate...
She pulled up the plank to let other ponies board, and began opening the sails.
I remember when you banished me for a whole millenia, do you know what I did while I was forced to the seas sister?
Luna smiled as she felt the wind across her face once more, and felt the ship begin its leave.
I became what you hated most, a pirate, robbing, plundering, and being a captain of my ship, and you know, I learned something when I came back...
'I'll need a crew, to help man the ship, and I think I know one pony who's up for the job.' Luna thought to herself, and felt the boat flowing down the river, and off the waterfall once again as she had done all those many decades ago. The boat splashed down below into the ocean, where it belonged, along with Luna.
When I was on that ship, robbing and plundering, I always thought it would be best to be back in my safe bed in Canterlot...
Luna turned the wheel, and started a course for Ponyville.
And when I came back, I was so happy to see you again, and for a while, everything seemed alright...
Luna made sure to go towards deep water before heading out, so she would not be noticed. She smiled a devious smile as she thought about what she was doing.
But after a while, I noticed a change about you, you were off, and you took such evil joy in killing pirates, that I was deterred by the only one I wanted to see while I was sailing...
The wind at her mane, and ruffling her feathers, and the sea spray dusting her horn, leaving a dewey residue on it, and Luna just smiled wider.
I also noticed another few things, one, the soft feather pillow, was too soft...
'No going back' she thought, she tried to smile more, but found she couldn't. 'Oh great sea, I missed you.' Luna thought, then let out a whole hearted laugh.
The calming smell of the castle, was boring...
The small lights of Ponyville came into view, and she went around the small penninsula, and docked in the caves, hiding her ship well, then stepped off.
And you still wouldn't listen to anything I had to say, no matter how important it was, you still treated me like a foal, so you know what I say to you?
Luna went through the small grove of trees on the edge of the Everfree Forest, and started towards her destination.
"I am leaving once again, this time for good, you uptight snob, and don't expect me to visit for anything other than my funeral, I love you, but you treat my like nothing, therefore, I go to where I belong, and that is on the sea." Celestia read aloud, then put her hood in her hooves, and let a single tear run down her face.
"Aunt? Are you alright?" Prince Blueblood asked, "She didn't belong here anyways, the way she always acted, saying that the ponies needed more freedom, what did she know?"
"Get out of my sight." Was all Celestia said, with a very dangerous tone. Prince Blueblood was gone, leaving nothing but a dust cloud sillouette of himself.
