When Fox McCloud of the Star Fox teams takes a wrong turn on his escape from the dread planet Venom, he's spared death only by a whim of fate. Lucky for some.

But for others, it's not so lucky. A thunderstorm rises up that neither the entire of Ponyville's weather team nor its most powerful mage can convince to leave. And when it spits an Arwing through the town hall and down Mane Road, Twilight Sparkle and her friends are left with an alien on their hooves who seems very out of place, and very dangerous.

The rest of the Star Fox team, meanwhile, return to Corneria, unsure of what to do next without their leader. At least the Venomian army is equally lost without their emporer, right?

Andross' general has a plan of his own, and now that he's top dog, what's to stop him? After all, this new warp gate seems stable enough…
