Chapter 1- Octavia and the DJ
There he stood, once the best time lord! A Doctor! And then it happened, he got caught by cops, attacking an alien, which was disguised as a helpless pony.
“No!” The alien, Bon Bon screamed as the doctor pushed it into a containment device.
“Hooves up!” Yelled Sheriff Mac holding a gun between his hooves. The doctor dropped the device and Bon Bon ran back into town
The doctor tried to explain “But it…she is an alien! She is!”
“Hooves up!” Yelled Sheriff Mac again
“Fine. But when it attacks you…”
“Shut it!” Yelled Mac.
As the doctor put his Hooves in the air, annoyed by Mac’s ignorance.
Twannnngg! A chord from an instrument rang, Mac fell down, mesmoriezed from the Spellbinding cord.
The Doctor looked up on a roof at the figure that strung the instrument.
“Didn’t think that you would end up in the hooves of cops” Joked Octavia, the Doctor’s old friend, as she jumped down.
“Didn’t think you would have to save me.” Joked the Doctor back.
“So…I guess your now a criminal…ya know, since people are alreadly looking for us, why don’t we play cops!”
“What?” Asked the doctor
“Why don’t we catch the bad guys! We don’t even have to let em’ live!”
The doctor thought “If we were to do this we would be considered vigilantes, always running…I already do that.” “Yes!” The doctor agreed.
“Awesome, meet me at the harbor at 11pm I have a friend you should meet!” Told Octavia
Octavia then used her bow to climb back onto the roof, and then she left.
“Well… back to hunting that alien” The doctor sighed. He stepped over Mac’s passed out body, and walked to where Bon bon had escaped.
Later that night, he had Bon Bon alien in a containment cell on his bedside, at a hotel he had rented a room in. “I hate hotels” mumbled the doctor as he looked around the room and realized the time, it was 10:50. “No! I am going to be late!” The doctor yelled as the cleaning lady walked in and the doctor jumped out the window.
“Oh great!” She mumbled “Another psychopath for Ponyville.
The doctor ran through the streets, avoiding cars and ponies as he was arriving at the harbor, at about 11:20, Octavia started to leave. “Stop Octavia!” he yelled.
Octavia stopped in her tracks. “Finally! I have been waiting forever!” “VINYL! Come here, he is finally here.”
A pony the doctor realized as a local DJ came out of a car, rubbed her eyes and yawned.
“Vinyl, meet the Doctor, Doctor meet Vinyl.”
“Oh, hi …Vinyl is it? That’s a nice name.” The doctor complimented
“Yeah… thanks, my parents gave me it or something.” The pony replied as she drank some red bull she found on the ground.
“Yeah…parents normally name their children…” Said the doctor.
Vinyl threw her red bull on the ground “This stuff lies, I didn’t get wings.”
“It doesn’t really give wings, it just makes you really hyper and…”
“Shhh…..” whispered Octavia pointing down a dimly lit street. “It is the Pone gang.”
“Pony?” asked the doctor, correcting Octavia
“No, Pone.” “Look!” Octavia pointed to a big package they were carrying into a warehouse, that was moving…
“Lets go!” Whispered Octavia as she started to advance.
“But I thought we were done!” complained the doctor tiredly
“You really think this was just introductions?” Octavia asked as she picked up her violin, strapped it to her back, and held up the bow, that was actually a sword.
“Man, don’t be a wimp!” Vinyl told the doctor jokingly as she picked up a case of records, including a golden one at the back, and slung it over her shoulder.
“Well, what do I use?” asked the doctor
“You have never needed a weapon before!” said Octavia
“True.” agreed the Doctor as they walked up to the door of the warehouse
“Vinyl, you go on tech, Doctor come with me.” Planned Octavia.
The three walked into a big room and looked around, “the gang must not be in this room” concluded the Doctor in his head. Octavia pointed Vinyl upstairs and put on her headset. Vinyl Bounded up stairs, to the right of the enterance, surprisingly not making much sound. She found a closet and plugged in her computer and headset she kept with her records.
“Im in” Vinyl told Octavia through their headsets
“She is in” Octavia informed the doctor as she threw him a headset
The Doctor put on the headset
“HEY DOCTOR!” Vinyl screamed through the headset
“Oww! That was loud.” He whispered to Vinyl.
“Ha ha, this guy is a riot!” Vinyl laughed
“C’mon stop joking around.” Commanded Octavia
" 'Ay Boss, did you hear that?" A voice behind a door to the far left of the room asked
"That sounds like..." Octavia started
"Thunderlane, you must be imagining things, i didnt hear nothin'!" Another voice replied
"Thunderlane..." Octavia ended
"Carmel! Thunderlane! Shut up! I just heard somthing upstairs." "The Boss" Yelled
"Oh no, they're coming!" Vinyl told the others
"Its coming from here!" The two heard through the headsets
*Twack!* a door flung open
*Swoosh* *Swooosh*
"Boss! *cough cough* I found it, its!"
*Swoosh!*
"I got them both" Vinyl replied breathing fastly
"Oh my god! What happened to my men!" "The Boss" yelled
Octavia ran up the stairs Vinyl had previously gone up, while the Doctor slowly followed
"Nooooo!" Vinyl screamed through the headset
Octavia got to the top of the stairs
"Who are you?" "The Boss" asked as he looked to his left at Octavia
*Swoosh Swoosh* her sword slashed his throat twice before he could react
She looked into the room as The Doctor got to the top of the stairs
"Vinyl! No!" Octavia screamed
The doctor got to the door and peered in, Vinyl was beated with a stick and was bleeding
"Aww man! He messed up my shades!" VInyl muttered loudly
Octavia laughed a bit "Vinyl are you okay?" she asked, again being serious
"Yeah... I just need to rest a bit."
The two healthy ponies helped Vinyl down the stairs. She then went back with Octavia to where she was staying, while the doctor went to the hotel, and went to sleep, ready for his next adventure.
