Chapters I was in my garden one late Saturday afternoon, picking some vegetables. After I picked two buckets full, I went inside and put them in a bowl so that they could be washed later, when I stepped back outside, I noticed the raspberry bush move slightly.
"What the..." I said. When I walk over the bush, something jumps out and I fell over. "Oooow," I say while rubbing my head. When I look up there's something staring at me. I think it's a horse with wings, to be more precise, a pony. Wait, WHAT!!! I examine the pony, and her colours are not normal colours for an Earth equine. I thought I was hallucinating, so I blinked twice, and sure enough, she was still there. "What in the name of God is happening?!" I realized I have scared her, so I try to calm her down.
"Hey," I say in a calm voice, "I didn't mean to scare you like that, I was just thinking out loud. Are you all right?" She mumbles a response, but I guess if she's speaking she all right. Wait, a talking pony? All this is becoming too familiar. So I ask, "What's your name?" thinking she might have one.
"Fl..tt..hy," she mumbles
"I'm sorry, I didn't quite catch that," I said
"Fluttershy," I knew it, I guess watching all those My Little Pony episodes with my cousin might have paid off. It looks like it might rain so I ask
"Do you want to come inside?" With her being a fully sentient being I expected the answer "no."
"No, that's all right I have already trespassed on your property," she replies
"Well it looks like it might rain are you sure you don't wan't to stay?"
"No, but thank you anyway" and as she starts to leave, it starts to rain, heavily. I don't want her to get sick by being out in the rain so I go to catch up with her.
"You can stay at my house. It's raining pretty hard" I say when I catch up to her. I take notice that she's shivering. That's it, that's my breaking point. I will not allow an animal to get sick on my watch. I pick her up off the ground and start toward my house. Five minutes later, we arrive at my back door, soaking wet from the rain. When I step in the house I go get a towel for Fluttershy and quickly go upstairs to change in to some dry clothes. When I am back downstairs I help Fluttershy dry off. When I finish drying her I notice she is still shivering. I grab her a blanket from the closet and get her into the living room.
"Do you want anything warm to drink, Fluttershy?" I ask
"Tea, please" she quietly replies. I walk into the kitchen and make the only tea I have, Peppermint tea. I Turn the kettle on and start to wonder "how will she hold the cup?" I pull out my phone to see how cartoon ponies would hold it. With Google not helping, I just get a straw for her. I hear the click of the kettle and pour the water into the cups, then put the teabags in.
"Here you go," I say cheerfully
"Thank you..." She pauses "I don't think I caught your name."
"Oh, my names Byron"
"Thank you, Byron" With that she picks up the cup. What? Cartoon ponies work in mysterious ways. I look at the clock as it reads 5:30PM.
"Do you want anything for dinner, Fluttershy?" I ask
"What can you make?" she asks
"Just about anything with a recipe really," I reply. And with that I pull out my phone and look for vegetarian meal ideas, knowing full well equines don't eat meat. I find a good vegetarian meatloaf recipe calling for just about everything I picked from my garden. I open the fridge to see if I have any tofu. I keep it around because I have vegetarian friends. I wash the vegetables and start cutting them up. Once I had them at the desired cut width I put them in the bowl with the tofu and spices. I put the mixture in to a loaf pan and put it in the oven for 20 minutes at 450. I walk back into the living room and sit next to Fluttershy.
"So, Fluttershy, what brings you here?" I ask
"I was getting some food for my animals," she replies
"What kind of animals?"
"Small animals"
"Okay" For the next twenty minutes we talk about various things from animal care to the difference in politics between our worlds. An annoying tone came from my stove telling me that the time went off and it was time to take out the "meat"loaf. Fluttershy takes a look at it and says
"It doesn't look very good"
"My cooking tastes better than it looks" I say while putting the food on the table.
"Okay," she says. I cut it up into pieces and put them on plates and pulled out some forks
"Do you want a refill of tea?" I ask
"Yes, please" she replies. Surprised that that the kettle is still warm, I pour some water into her cup and give it a stir
"Thank you" We started to eat when my cell rang.
"Oh, crap," I say looking at the screen. It's my mother. "Hello?" It was the usual calling to say she missed me and wanted me to come home.
"Who was that?" Fluttershy asks
"My mother," I reply
"Why did she call?"
"To say she misses me"
"Why did you move out? You look 15," She asks
"I moved out because I couldn't handle the stress she was giving me" I reply
"I'm sorry that you had to go through that" she says sympathetically
"You don't need to feel sorry for me, but thank you" We continue eating in silence, both feeling equally awkward about that conversation.
After that awkward dinner, I put the meatloaf away, and put the dishes in the sink. When I sit back down, my phone goes off with the Super Mario Bros. theme song indicating that I have a text message. Of course it's from the carrier telling me I have very few minutes left! I just got off the phone with my mother!
"Who was that?"asks Fluttershy
"My telephone provider telling me I have very few minutes left," I reply. We get up to the living room and turn on the TV to watch some Netflix. Yay, Netflix.
"What's Netflix?" asks Fluttershy
"A video streaming service," I reply "Do they have videos from where your from?"
"No," she replies. She asks me about video and give the short answer: their moving pictures. Anyway, we decided on a kids cartoon (no, not My Little Pony.) The cartoon we chose was SpongeBob SquarePants. "This is funny!" she says.
"I know, I used to watch it when I was younger," I reply. "You want to hear something funny? The person who plays SpongeBob is married to the actress that plays Karen."
"I guess that is a little funny," she relies. We watch more SpongeBob for a couple of hours before I look at the clock again. It reads 9:30PM.
"I need to get ready for bed. I have work tomorrow." I say to Fluttershy. She yawns, looking tired.
"I suppose I should go to bed too," She replies tiredly. "How long do you have to work for?" She asks
"From 10:30AM to 1:00PM. That's not too long." I reply
"Okay" she says.
We both walk upstairs to get ready for bed when some thing comes to my mind. My idiot brother hasn't come back for his stuff yet. SON OF A -- calm down, Byron. I'll figure something out. Then it hits me, his stuff is along the wall! She could sleep on the mattress. Good thing I bought a new one. The old one smelled, and was sticky. Eww.
"Here's where you can sleep, Fluttershy" I say. "If you need anything, I'm across the hall"
"I think I need a blanket." She says
"Give me five seconds," I say while grabbing a blanket from my closet.
"Thank you."
I change into some sleepwear, set the alarm on my phone for 9:00AM, and hop into bed.
The next morning, a shrill ringtone was coming my phone telling me to get up. The morning light blinds me as I open the blinds. "FUCK!" Stupid sunlight. I quickly make sure Fluttershy is still asleep after my outburst, she is. Thank God. I eat a quick breakfast, change into my uniform, and leave, making sure I lock the door. I come home at 1:30PM to find Fluttershy watching more SpongeBob.
"I'm home!" I exclaim
"Oh, Byron! You're home!"
"Anyone stop by?" I ask
"Not that I know of," she replies
"Let me go change and I'll make some lunch. Did you eat breakfast?"
"Yes. I had some Lucky Charms." I quickly go upstairs to change, and take my phone off it's charger.
"What would like for lunch?" I ask
"A jam sandwich," She replies
"Strawberry or Raspberry?"
"Strawberry, please" I then grab the bread and strawberry jam that my grandma made for me (saves me a few bucks every month.)
"Here you go, Fluttershy," I say.
"Thank you," she replies. After lunch she asks this out of the blue, "Do you want to see where I live?" How the hell am I supposed to answer this!? I say yes to see what her world looks like. I feel like I'm living every bronies dream.
"Just give me a few minutes to grab some things," I say. Of course I grab my laptop. I almost never leave home without it other than work. I also grab a notebook and a pen. "I'm ready to go!" I exclaim.
"Just follow me," she says. I hop on my bike and follow her into the forest behind my house. Is this how she got here? I thought it would have been a spell from Twilight or something. A few minutes pass and we stop at a log.
"We have to, um, crawl through this log," she explains. Plane crossing? Probably. A few minutes later I see a white light and the end of the log. This is probably the end of my plane and the beginning of hers. Ten minutes later, we are at the end of the log and in the Everfree Forest. What is this? I don't even. This hurts my brain. I look the same, I still have everything, no other limbs. Yep, I'm still the same.

So, everything looks like a cartoon. The trees, the sky, and the animals. But then again, what do I expect from a world filled with cartoon ponies? Anyway, we begin our walk to Fluttershy's cottage and I notice something peculiar. A blue flower.
"Hey Fluttershy. What's that?" I ask, pointing at said flower,
"That's Poison Joke," She replies, "It's like Poison Oak, but instead of making you itchy, it plays a prank on you."
"Oh. Best I stay away from it then." After saying that I whip out my phone and take a picture of it. We continue our walk to her cottage and before long we are at the edge of Ponyville. By this time, I was wondering on how they'd react to me. I hoped Fluttershy had a plan, which she did. She told me to walk behind the brush at the edge of the forest. It was a few inches taller than me, so thank God for that. After a while we arrive at her cottage, which in turn trigger my allergies. Mostly to cats. I quickly pop an anti-histamine and continue on. We walk in the door and her rabbit was waiting at the door.
"Sorry Angel-bunny. It was raining horribly out. So I stayed this man's house," She explains, pointing at me. The bunny shoots me a glance that says, "If you hurt her, I will end you." Like I'm scared of a rabbit.
"FLUTTERSHY! WHERE ARE YOU FLUTTERSHY?!" Yells a group of ponies from outside. I assume that this is the rest of the main cast. Out of instinct, I hide, hoping they won't see me when they walk inside.
"Come on, Byron!" I quietly say to myself. Screw it, behind the couch it is! As I finish hiding, the rest of the Mane 6 enter.
"Fluttershy, where have you been?" Asks the purple one. I think her name is Twilight Sparkle
"Out getting food for the animals," Fluttershy replies.
"It shouldn't have taken a day!" Says the blue one. I believe her name is Rainbow Dash.
"Well it was raining on the other side of the border," she replies
"Well that shouldn't have stopped ya!" Exclaims the orange one. AppleJack? Probably.
"I was farther away from the border this time," she explains, "So I took shelter under some trees."
"Fluttershy, stop lyin' sugarcube," Says Applejack. To save Fluttershy from having to speak again, I stand up from behind the couch.
"OH MY CELESTIA! WHAT IS THAT!?" exclaims Twilight.
"I'm a Human. My name's Byron," I explain, offering my hand for a hand-to-hoofshake. I then suddenly blackout. Half an hour later I wake up in a, Library? The hell? "What happened?" I groan. I try moving my hands. Not much to my surprise, I can't move them. "Could someone untie me please?!" I exclaim. A few seconds later, I see a purple aura appear around the door handle and it then opens. The Mane 6 minus Fluttershy enter the room. I'm guessing the purple aura came from Twilight.
"Sorry for knocking you out and tying you up like this," Twilight apologizes, "We thought you were hostile." I'm then untied and can rub my head.
"Not a problem. I expected that from a species that has never seen a human before," I explain. "By the way, Where's my bag and phone?" I wouldn't get much use from the phone, but the bag had my laptop in it which has work files on it.
"You mean these?" Twilight asks.
"Yeah those." Twilight floats my equipment to me. "Thanks." I proceed to boot up the laptop to make sure it still works. The Start-up sound came on and then loaded the OS. "Okay, good, it still works," I say with a sigh of relief.
"Um, what is that?" Twilight asks
"This is a portable computer. I use it to work or to play"
"How does it work?" Rainbow Dash asks. I pull a Pentalobe screwdriver out of my bag and take off the bottom cover of my computer.
"It works by using these parts to display an image on this screen," I say and open the lid to the computer, "Everything that is stored on the computer are on the storage device known as a Hard Drive or a Solid State Drive. When I'm running a program, It's loaded into the Random Access Memory or RAM for short. It is then cleared when the program is stopped." I put the bottom cover back on the computer and screw the screws back in.
"Then what are the holes on the side for?" Asks Applejack
"They are used for different purposes." I explain, "The three rectangles with thinner smaller rectangles in them are Universal Serial Bus or, USB for short, power and use devices as storage unless they are wireless, such as a wireless pointing device or keyboard, which is powered by batteries. The next ports are Audio in and out. Used for listening to music, making vocals for music, or voicing over a video. The Square port is for an Internet connection by a cable, and the last port is used to charge the battery on the computer" By the looks on their faces, they are completely baffled.
"SPIKE!" Exclaims Twilight. A purple dragon bursts into the room. I guess that's Spike.
"Yes, Twilight?" He asks
"Write a letter to Princess Celestia." She says
"On It!" Spike replies
"Dear Princess Celestia," Twilight dictates, "We are requesting to come to come to castle ASAP. We have some~~pony~~one we want you to meet. Your Faithful Student, Twilight Sparkle" Spike sends it off with a burst of magic fire. Within seconds we recieve a letter back from Celestia.
"My dearest Twilight Sparkle," Spike reads, "Please come to the castle at once with your guest. I will send a Chariot. Princess Celestia"
"Before the chariot arrives, could I have something to eat?" I ask
"Sure. Will a sandwich do?" Asks Spike
"A sandwich will do fine," I reply. Not even one minute later, he comes out of the kitchen with a raspberry jam sandwich. "Thanks!" I say
"No problem!" Says Spike. When I finish my sandwich, the chariot arrives. As if almost on cue. Weird. Everybody except Spike get on the chariot. Twilight instructs the chariot ponies to go to Fluttershy's cottage. We pick up Fluttershy and proceed to where ever the hell we're going. Ten minutes later we arrive at a castle in the most busiest place in all of Equestria.
"This buildng is huge! Probably bigger than the Twin Towers!" I exclaim. I whip out my phone and take a picture of the castle/
"Now's not the time for that, Darling," says the white one. I think her name is Rarity. Before I get into the castle I get stopped by Royal Gaurds. Twilight hands me a Pin that has 6 coloured gems on it. I guess they represent something. The gaurds recognize i'm a guest of the Mane 6 and let me through. Again, Weird. We arrive at a throne room that has two thrones. One with a Sun and one with a Moon on them. When I walk in, Iron bars go down the windows and door. Again, to be expected from a speices that has probably never seen a human.
"Hello, Twilight," says the white unicorn-pegasus pony. This must be Princess Celestia. "This must be the pony you wanted me to meet."
I bow down and say, "My name's Byron Daniel Frost. I am in no way hostile." I stand back up and go back to rest of the Mane 6.
"Pleasure to meet you Byron, I am Princess Celestia. One of the rulers of Celestia" Says the Princess. Wait, there are two rulers. I guess the other is possibly her sister."Might I ask what your species is?"
'I am a Human. Dominant Species of the planet earth." I reply. I love making Star Trek References. Damn you, Gord.
"You are not the dominant species of here though."
"I know. And I respect your laws and the royalty, so long as I am respected"
"So, Byron, How did you arrive in Equestria?"
"Fluttershy was in my world grabbing some vegetables from my garden, which I didn't mind at all, but when she went to leave it started pouring heavily, so I took her to my house and let her stay there until i got home from work the next morning. She then lead me through the Mill Creek Ravine behind my house and crawled through a log that crossed planes into the Everfree Forest, now I'm here. So far you and the other six ponies are the only six ponies I've met."
"All right, for your protection, we're going to you into a pony. If at anytime you need to be in your Human form here just think 'Human form' and you'll be in human form again, as for transforming back into a pony what can we do?"
"How about I snap my left hand while thinking 'pony form' to turn into a pony, but it can only work here in Equestria. Because I don't want to be randomly turning into pony at work."
"Fair enough," she says. She then pulls out a pony form creator, kinda like the one on DeviantArt, I hook my phone up to it, take a portrait of myself, and then edit it to look like a pony.
"Unicorn, blue fur, glasses," I mutter, I use my phone and draw a cutiemark into the creator. "There! Done!"
"Now for the Next step," Celestia says, "Byron, we need you to sit in my throne."
"Why?" I ask
"My throne has the power to alter your brain so you can use magic while you're a pony." She explains
"I understand" I go sit in the throne, then slowly drift off to sleep. I wake up 20 minutes to find the process has been completed. My body didn't change, to allow the rest of the magic to do it's course. An analogy comes to mind, I'm an iOS device and I've been Jailbroken. After another 10 minutes, Celestia instructs me to try to change into a pony. I snap my left hand and the process begins to take effect. First to change was my arms and legs to turn into pony legs and hooves. The smoothening of my hands and feet didn't hurt, but the relocation of my arms and legs kind of did. It would for the first time. Next was my mane and tail. The mane just extended from my hairline, my tail bone twitched and out came a tail. Cool. Next was my muzzle, which just streched out my face. That didn't hurt because I had gone through Orthodontic treatment to fix my crooked teeth. Last but not least was my horn, which was just an extension of my skull. Man, that felt like a migrane! but it was for my safety. After the transformation, I tried standing on the ground.
"Well Byron, how do you feel?" Celestia asked
"Other than a headache, just fine," I reply "Got any Aspirin?" Twilight levitates it from my bag. I try to levitate out of Twilight's grip. To everyponies amazement, including me, it worked. I put the pill in my mouth and swallow. From exhaustion I pass out. Two hours later, I wake up in the Ponyville library. Everypony, including the Princess, wants to make sure I'm okay. They all sigh in relief when I wake up. Still a pony, so the spell took. I levitate my phone and magically press the power button. The clock reads 16:30. It's only 4:30? Must not have been gone long then. Spike hands me a glass of water, in case of dehydration, I happily drink it and get up.
"So, what's next?" I ask "I'm fighting fit again"
"Let us introduce ourselves; I'm Twilight Sparkle," Says Twilight
"Ah'm Applejack," Says Applejack
"I'm Rarity," Says Rarity
"I'm Rainbow Dash; Fastest Flyer in all of Equestria!" Boasts Rainbow
"HI! I'M PINKIE PIE AND WILL BE MY FRIEND!?" Exclaims the pink one
"And I've already met Fluttershy" I say "So, town tour?"
"Sure!" They say at once. Seeing as how I'm here might as well aqauint myself with the town. After an hour and a half we arrive back at the library. For 6 o'clock it's still pretty light out.
"I'm not planning on leaving yet, but whenever I get into Equestria could something alert one of the 6 of you?" I ask.
"Can we see your smaller device?" Asks Twilight
"Sure," I reply. I levitate it over to her and she modifies it's software slightly so it sends her a letter whenever I'm in Equestria. For having no experience with human technology, she knew she was doing.
"Time for your 'Welcome to Ponyville' Party!!" Exclaims Pinkie. How did I not expect this? I levitate my iPod to her, and have her play the music. "What is this?" she asks.
"It's an iPod. A music player," I reply. After realizing they don't have a headphone to DJ Turntable converter, I grab one from my bag. Thank God for DJ friends. "Whenever this is plugged into the iPod the music plays automatically. So make sure the Turntable is hooked up before you plug the iPod in." I expain
"Okey Dokey Lokey!" Pinkie acknologizes. We partied well into the night, playing some of the best tracks on my iPod. The party ended and 3 in the morning. I woke up at the Library on the couch at about 8:30. Must have been one kick ass party if I woke up on the couch. I go to the bathroom and looked at the mirror to make sure nopony wrote anything on my face. Nopony did. Good. Good thing it's my day off too.

Wow. 2.5k words in this chapter. Any-frickin'-way, my writers block cleared up for this chapter and possibly the next chapter as well. Charming Cresent Will be officially named next chapter.
I stop looking into the mirror and get into the shower. Must have been partying hard last night to smell like this. I then realize that I didn't pack any soap. Suppose I'll rinse then apply deodorant, then. Five minutes later, I step out of the shower and grab my emergency towel from my bag downstairs. It was around this time Spike woke up. From what I can recall from the show, Twilight normally wakes Spike up. Today must be special.
"Morning Spike," I say
"Morning Byron," he replies
"What'cha doing?" I ask
"Today is Twilight's birthday. So I'm making her breakfast in bed," he answers
"That's nice! Listen, I'm gonna go back to my world for a while. I'll be back in two hours, tops," I say
"All right. See you later!" He says. I grab my things and head towards the Everfree Forest. God, this place looks scary. Good thing I have a good sense of direction. I find the log and crawl through it. When I get out of Equestria, my body reverts to normal other than the fact I can use magic now. I start to leave the forest for my house. Simply because it's my day off doesn't mean I stop working. I had some PC build orders to fill. I open my back door and head to my workshop and start filling orders. Some were gaming, some were Hackintoshes, and few were console PCs . Once the orders were filled, I got to work on a custom build in a white case. I was building this for Princess Celestia. On the sides of the case I painted a sun. On the inside I put in my best parts and installed Windows 8 Professional. The case was small enough so I could put it in my bag. Among the things I packed was a Touch sensitive screen, keyboard and mouse. The screen came off an old Windows 8 Tablet/Laptop combo that had died. It was converted so it took HDMI in.
Once I was certain I was finished, I made my way back to Equestria, following the same steps as yesterday. When I came across the log, I crawled through it. However, it changed my body back to a pony. I guess if I leave in a certain form, I come back in the same form. Noted. My phone vibrates letting me know it sent an automatic text. Thank you Twilight. Seems the Everfree Forest changes everyday. Pokémon Mystery Dungeon anyone? Anyway, I was on my way back when I ran across Zecora's hut, telling me I was on the right path. I see the Poison Joke again, steering clear of it. I suddenly hear a roar and start booking it out of there. I make it to Ponyville with Twilight waiting.
"Hi Twilight!" I say breathlessly.
"Byron! You shouldn't be walking around alone in there!" She exclaims.
"Tell me something I don't know," I said plainly.
"Anyway, what's in the bag?" She asks
"It's a surprise!" I say excited, hurrying to the library. She starts catching up to me, as I start to lose my breath. Damn you Asthma. Haven't had an attack in years though. I'm still not sure if that's a good thing.
We arrive at the library about five minutes later with Spike sitting there wait for us.
"'Sup?" I ask.
"Not Much. You?" He replies.
"I've got a surprise," I mention "By the way could you send a letter to the princess. I'd like here to be here when I unveil it."
"Sure thing!" With in a few minutes Spike burps out a letter. It reads:
"Hello Byron," she greets.
"Your majesty."
"I understand you have something to show me?" She asks
"One second your majesty,"I reply "HEY RAINBOW DASH!!" I belt out a near by window. In a millisecond she flies in through the window I just yelled out of.
"What's up?"
"Can you get the other ponies for me please?"
"Sure thing!" Rainbow Dash is back in five minutes with the rest of the Mane Six. Befor Celestia even says a word I say,
"Wanted them to see it too." She under stands and i start setting it up. Realizing that I have no power outlets, I pull out a car battery that was modified with two power outlets. I plug the power cable into the machine and plug in the HDMI cable to the Screen as well as the keyboard and mouse. As it boots up, the princess asks,
"What is this thing?"
"This is a computer. It does everything my smaller can, but using a lot less power."
"What is it doing?"
"It's booting up an Operating system. Namely Windows 8. Speaking of which," I say, turning around and unlocking it. "Rainbow Dash, Could you please stand in front of me for a moment?"
"Uh, Sure," She replies. I pull out my phone, take a picture, and upload to the computer. I load up an ID creator and start filling in fields.

"I've just created an ID card for Rainbow Dash using this computer. This is optional to use, but it would be handy," I explain, showing them the card.
"How would this help Equestria?"The Princess asks.
"Age checks. You can't say you haven't had foals trying to walk into pubs without adult supervision."
"I suppose that would help. We could make them free to foals 14 and under, 20 bits for everypony else."
"It's a big problem where I'm from. So, who wants a complimentary ID?" They all put their hooves up. Guess I'm gonna here for a while.

It has been a few weeks since I gave the computer Celestia. She also told me that her sister tends to play games on Equestria's equivalent of Earth's game consoles. Nieghtendo is Nintendo, PonySoft Is Microsoft, and PONY is SONY. You'd think the equestrian equivalent to MS there would be computers. Priorities.
Anyway, she asked me to build a computer for Princess Luna. Gaming, of course. So I ventured back home, with a little company. Twilight insisted on coming with me to protect me in the Everfree, and See my workshop. The Everfree I could understand, but my workshop? Knowing her, instead of focusing on building, she'd be cleaning. She wanted to see it anyway, so I showed her the workshop. Needless to say, she wanted me to clean it. I told her it was this messy because i normally have many orders to fill in my off time and don't have time to clean up the shop. I was surprised when she offered to clean my workshop, and seeing as she was here anyway, I gave her permission, after grabbing all my best gaming PC parts, as well as the smallest case i could fit it in.
I spray painted the case in a midnight blue colour with black specks every so often. I fitted it with an ASUS motherboard, Intel i7 3.6GHz quad-core CPU, 32GB SSD, 2TB HDD and 32GB RAM. I installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit as well as XBOX360 Controller for Windows Drivers. After that was done, I customized the OS to be as close to the requests both Celestia and Luna gave me. When it was done it was nearly 6:00pm. Twilight was done long before me and went upstairs to watch some Netflix or something. I called Twilight back down to get her to review the system.
"Wow Byron!" She exclaimed, "This looks wonderful! Princess Luna will love it!"
"I sure hope so. That paint and primer took forever to dry," He replied.
Before we left I pulled out that vegetarian meatloaf that Fluttershy and I had when we first met. Her statement was exactly the same as Fluttershy's. Still tastes better than what it looks like. After dinner we went on our way back to Ponyville. I grabbed a can of coke before left though. We venture back through the ravine to the log and crawl through it. The Everfree Forest changes everyday. Still makes me think of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon.
We make our way back to Ponyville and see both princesses waiting for us in the library.
"Oh, hello Princess," Byron greets
"Hello, Byron," she replies, "Do you have the computer?"
"Yes I do!" I pulled it out of my bag, and both Princesses gasped in awe of the machine. Not for the specs, but for the design. I didn't design it that well, did I? After they get out of theier state of awe, they ask me to boot it up. Using the same screen from Celestia's computer, I booted it up. They hardly got the chance to see the boot screen. Upon boot it shows a Princess Luna start button, midnight blue areo, and custom wallpaper. I took it has she likes it.
"Wow. This is a stunning machine," Said Princess Luna
"Just wait, it get's better." I reply. I proceed to take out a wired XBOX 360 controller and hook it up to the front USB port. I lanuch a game compatible with it and demo it. I then ask if Princess Luna has a spare controller for the equestrian equivalent. It doesn't surprise it that its wireless, but was, was that it had the same port for the charge plug on a 360 controller. I pull out a USB cable for XBOX 360 controllers and see if it works. When the player two light came on I knew it worked. Sweet. I don't have to disassemble anything.
"Here you go Princess," I say, "A custom PC, just for you"
"How much do we owe you?" Princess Luna asks
"Normally, if this were my world, it would be 700 dollars for the customer. But for you it's free."
"No, we insist on paying you. The conversion to your money from ours is 200 bits to 700 dollars"
"I can't accept this. Even if it was a commission"
"Uh, Byron, I suggest to take the payment" Twilight says, Pointing to a now glowing Princess Luna. "It's insulting to not accept payment from royalty."
"Oh. Well then, I guess I'll accept the payment. Pleasure doing business with you Princess Luna."
Princess Luna then levitates over a bit bag with 200 coins in it, plus a ten bit tip. She leaves with a skip in her step. I wonder why? I would probably say the 'beauty' of the case.
I take out a coin, and to my surprise, they are pure gold. My jaw drops in awe. No wonder the count was so low! Doing the math by dividing 200 by 700, 1 dollar is 0.29 bits! Adding in the 10 bit tip, I just made $735 dollars! Holy crap! I have never made such an expensive PC! Even Celestia's computer only cost $500! I didn't even charge her for it!
"Equestria to Byron, Equestria to Byron" Says Twilight, snapping me back to reality.
"Oh, Sorry Twilight." I replied. " I tend to do that a lot" I stood up only to have my vision blur for a second. I hate it when that happens.
"It's alright."
"I want to thank you for cleaning my workshop earlier. I probably would have never gotten around to it"
"It was no problem Byron."
"I'm gonna head back home for a while."
"Ooh no mister. It is too dark in the Everfree now. you're gonna have to stay here for the night!"
I glance out the window, then to my phone. It reports 9:00pm. Hmm, it is too late to be in the Everfree. Guess I'll crash on the couch again. All of a sudden the Windows XP startup sound starts playing.
"Hm?" Says Twilight, looking at with a questioning look.
"It was my phone." I look at my phone's screen "CELL SERVICE?! WHAT?!" I guess my yelling caught Twilight off guard because she fell over
"Can you not yell please?"
"Sorry Twi. My phone just caught me off guard by telling me I have Cell Phone Service."
"What phone service?" This is going to be a long night...

And there's Chapter 5! I left Byron as a human in this chapter so he could demo the controller setup. In the next chapter I'll reveal how he has Cell service
I've only been here a month and now I have cell service in Equestria?! How could that have happened!? The princesses just left! Wait, It just might be a glitch. I reboot the phone and it doesn't show any cell service anymore.
"All right, it was a glitch," I think out loud
"What was a glitch?" Twilight asks, catching me off gaurd.
"My phone reported I had cell phone service here. It does that from time to time," I reply, looking back at my phone. It's clock reads 9:30pm. I decide to put on a movie. Out of my entire list I had Rockman.EXE: The Program of Light and Dark, Fast And Furious, and The Simpsons Movie. I decided to put on the Rockman.EXE movie and sat on the couch. Twilight sat down and asked,
"Byron, what is that?"
"This is an animated Japanese movie," I reply
"I don't understand what they're saying. It's like they are speaking another language."
"Well, that's because they are. The movie never got an English dub, but someone decided to make subtitles for it. They aren't the best translations, but it's better than not understanding it at all."
"Well that makes a lot of sense." Twilight says sarcastically, "Wouldn't be easier to have the english version?"
"The show that ties to this movie never got any English releases past season 2. The game counterpart got english releases though, which I thought was stupid."
"Well I could translate the movie to english," Twilight suggests
"I highly doubt it. You don't even know the dub names."
"You could teach me!"
"I suppose I could..." I ponder, "I'll give you a quick rundown." We went through the list of characters and thier english names. I'm not sure what to be more surprised about, the fact that the Japanese to English translation was 100% accurate, Twilight was able to recreate the voices with no trouble at all, or that it was done in under 15 minutes! In any case we sat down and watched it in english. I made a note to myself to import it to my computer later. When the movie was over we both got ready for bed. She went upstairs to her room and I slept on the couch.
I woke up a few hours later to the smell of eggs cooking. I check my phone for the time. It reads 10:30am on Saturday morning. I walk into the kitchen and say good morning to Spike.
"Good Morning Byron!"
"'Morning Spike," I reply, " I don't mean to sound rude, but do you guys got any coffee here?"
"Yep, made some earlier."
"Thanks Spike." I grab a mug from the cupboard and pour some coffee into it and sweeten it to my liking. I hear some yawning coming from upstairs. Twilight must be waking up. I grab a mug for her and pour some coffee into it. As if on cue she walks into the kitchen.
"'Morning Twilight," I greet, "Sleep well?"
"Good Morning Byron," She replies, " I slept great." She sweetens her coffee and takes a sip. Spike puts breakfast on the table, and we all sit down to eat. When we're done eating, Spike heads to Rarity's to help her gem hunt, Twilight goes to study, and I go for a walk around the town. Before I leave I change to pony form, and then head out. Upon leaving I run into three fillies. One Orange pegasus, one white unicorn, and one yellow earth pony. I could already take a guess on who was related to who.
"Sorry mister!" The yellow one says
"No problem. It was my fault for not looking where I was going," I reply
"I don't think I've seen you around before," Says the orange one
"Yeah I think you're right Scootaloo," Comments the white one.
"Well I'm new in town. My name's Charming Crescent" I reply
"I'm AppleBloom!" Says the yellow one
"I'm Sweetie Belle!" Squeaks the white one.
"And I'm Scootaloo" Says the orange one.
"And together we make THE CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS!" They yell.
"Nice to meet you." I say good bye and make way to SugarCube Corner. I see Pinkie Pie working the counter. Before she has the chance to say my real name, I quickly make a motion to say my pony name.
"Morning Charming!" She greets excitedly
"Morning Pinkie," I reply.
"What can I get you?"
"Just a chocolate chip muffin would be fine"
"That'll be 2 bits." I hand her the bits, say good bye and continue walking around town. I stumble across the Everfree Forest and decide to make my way back home. Upon entering my house, my answering machine has 2 messages. One from a customer, the other from my mom. My cell starts ringing and the caller ID says it's my mom. I decide not to answer it. I go to my workshop and start working on my next build.
