//-------------------------------------------------------// Something New -by PetalEmily- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Death //-------------------------------------------------------// Death Death The air was filthy and toxic, as it seeped into my lungs, I with one last fighting chance shot out a fire ray that was bigger than I had ever seen. The monster stopped growling and fell, and the toxins in the air took me. Twilight smiled as my eyes opened. She turned away and read something in a big book. I looked around, I saw a hospital and a heart meter. I gladly took in that my heart beat was normal, and I wasn't going to die.  I looked at my stomach and saw a big burn mark. My face got red as I remembered, I burned myself trying to fight the monster. My head felt foggy so I rested against my pillow. I pulled up my hands that were covered in scorch marks. I just then released I had a breathing mask over my face. "Twilight?" I asked muffled under the breather that covered my mouth. "The breather is to help you Spike, you inhaled to much toxins." Twilight said, as if she knew everything. She did. I smiled weakly at her, "Where is Rarity?Fluttershy?Rainbow Dash? The others?" I asked. "OH their just busy, they'll be here soon enough." by the way she said it, it sounded like they were already late. I rolled my eyes and turned the other way, seeing I was not alone. I shared a room with another pony hidden behind a blanket. "oh" the filly said quietly, and sounded like---like. I turned away, not wanting to think what I thought. "Did the other ponies make it? Is Rarity okay?" I asked "How about Fluttershy?" I said, my voice shaking. "Uh, all right yeah..just fine" she said. She was lying. "Spike, I...I need to tell you something...the others..their not coming." she pulled down the blanket, where Fluttershy lay. Still alive, but barley. "Their alive, well except for...well....well...Rarity" she slipped out of the hospital room. I lay there looking at the ceiling.
