Vinyl Scratch: part-time DJ, full-time detective. She lives in her hometown of Fillydelphia, working for the FPD (Fillydelphia Police Department), arresting robbers, drug lords, etc. Because, that's here job, isn't it? She's taken down gangs before, but nothing like the Red Cardinals, the Blue Jays and the Green Hummingbirds. For years now, these three rival gangs pretty much ran Fillydelphia. They're also wanted for smuggling drugs over the Equestrian borders, armed robberies, the list goes on.

To take down these three criminal organizations, Vinyl must befriend them to end the Cardinals', Jays' and the Hummingbirds' schemes. It's a risky mission, but she's up for the task. But, could befriending the three gangs be harmful to her friends and family? Can she stay loyal to the badge? Or will her father's genes turn her into a whole new mare?
