The lone warrior

As the three walked to look for the creature of the dark, Magnum, Braeburn, and Trixie heard a foot step, Magnum readied himself and the others for an ambush. “Be careful somepony or something is watching us.” Said Magnum as he sensed the presence of somepony watching them. As Magnum prepared himself but a Pony fell from the roof with fresh opened wounds on his body. Magnum walked up to the Pony to see if he was alive or not. “What happened to you sir?” said Magnum in a sort of curious voice. “The creatures of the night had found an easier way to hunt during the day they got these rings on their hooves that lets them walk in broad day light.” Said the Pony who had a way to kill them now that they walk in day time. “Impossible the only rings I can think of is the mortal day light rings.” Said Braeburn with a very confused face. “But they do have those rings they might use them to kill us all at once.” Said the wounded Pony with a concerned face. Then right when Trixie was about to say something she heard running hoofsteps on the roof. “What the hell was that sound?” said Braeburn with a creeped out look on his face.
