One by one, the ponies and Link were carried up to the moon's unfaced surface.
"Be careful!" The guards bid farewell.
"The only visible thing is this tree with a passage in it," Rainbow Dash pointed out.
"Well, we should go in," Applejack suggested.
And so, the ponies went into the tree.

"This... is not what I expected," Twilight admitted.
The inside of the tree was bigger than the outside. Yep, TARDIS style.
But the shocking thing was what the inside looked like.
Since the tree had twisted branches and no leaves, the inside was expected to look horrific. But it was a grassy plain, with beautiful flowers and a giant tree in the middle. That tree didn't have a hole inside it, however.
Around the tree, four kids wearing masks were crowded around, frolicking.
Twilight walked to one kid. "Do you know anything about Majora?"
"The mask is in the Great Tree," the kid responded. "You can only enter once you have played with all of us."
"What does 'playing' mean? Does it involve getting dirty?" Rarity asked worriedly.
The kid laughed. "No. Would you like to play with me?"
"Um... sure."
"Follow."
The kid walked to a stairway and went downwards, with the ponies following.
The inside of the stairway was simply a stone brick room. The bricks were covered in vines and cracked.
Then the kid flashed with dazzling light. The ponies had to look away for a few seconds.
When the flash cleared, the kid was gone. In his place was a green-skinned man with various colors scattered around his body. His face remained the same as the mask the kid had been wearing. The man had a sword and shield.
"I am Odolwa, the Masked Jungle Warrior," Odolwa said. "I will accept your challenge."
"This is 'playin'?" Applejack said with disbelief.
Fluttershy was trying to find a place to cower, but the entrance had been sealed.
Odolwa slashed at Rainbow Dash, who avoided it easily. "You're too slow," Rainbow Dash taunted.
Twilight used her magic to shoot a magic bolt at Odolwa. However, he blocked it with his shield. It did knock him into the wall, stunning him for a few seconds. Dash took the opportunity to punch him in the face.
Link dashed towards Odolwa and slashed at his face.
Odolwa howled with pain, but got back up. "Such tactics will prove futile now."
He suddenly started spinning around while holding his sword out - a spinning slash. Applejack took out a lasso and whipped it onto the sword, being careful not to slice the rope in half.
She pulled with all her might, causing Odolwa to topple. Rainbow Dash punched again, Applejack kicked the stunned Odolwa in the face, Link fired a flaming arrow, and Twilight fired a magic bolt again.
Odolwa flashed with light again.
Suddenly, the ponies were back at the Great Tree. One of the kids was gone. However, lying next to them was a mask - the same one the kid had worn.
"Now I see. We have to take down the rest of them," Link said.
"We can do it!" Rainbow Dash bragged.
Since I don't want to go into tons of boring details, the ponies defeated Goht, the Masked Mechanical Monster; Gyorg, the Gargantuan Masked Fish; and Twinmold, the Gigantic Masked Insect.
When they had all four, the Great Tree began shuddering.
Then a hole split open inside.
"It's time for the final battle," Twilight said confidently.
The ponies walked inside.

The inside of this tree was average sized. However, it was rainbow colored and flashy.
Majora's Mask was in the back wall, eyes closed.
"So... you made it. I'm surprised. Well, then. If you win, you can stop the moon. If you lose... Equestria goes bye bye. Now let's get on with it."
The masks flew out of the ponies' hooves and into four other walls.
"Hey!" Rainbow Dash yelled, trying to pull one out.
Majora opened his eyes. The wall started shaking, and finally, Majora flew off the wall.
"Good-bye, my little ponies!"
Majora spun like a maniac in an attempt to slash some of the ponies. Link shot him with an arrow, but it was deflected. Luckily, the ponies managed to avoid Majora.
Majora started flashing with a red light. Link switched masks to a white-colored Link and threw out some boomerangs.
"OW!" Majora fell to the ground. Link quickly switched to the Fierce Deity mask and started beating Majora up with his sword. The other ponies joined in, except Fluttershy, who was cowering in the corner.
Majora screamed. "BOSS REMAINS, COME TO LIFE!"
The four masks flew off the walls, animated. They fired energy at the ponies and Link, who took the Boss Remains down without ease.
"That mask is a durn powerful one," Applejack commented.
Link shrugged. "What can I say? It has its uses."
Majora fired a fiery beam.
Rainbow Dash was hit.
"OW!"
Twilight, panicking, quickly summoned a water spell to douse Rainbow Dash. It worked.
"Phew! Thanks! I thought I was roasted!" Rainbow Dash sighed with relief along with Twilight.
"Relief? During YOUR DOOM?" Majora was then stabbed by Fierce Deity Link.
"NOOOOOOOOOOO! YEEEEEEEEOW!!!!"
"YES! Equestria is - "
"It's not over," Link said. "We still have two more forms."
Majora did the grotesque transformation into Majora's Incarnation.
"Oh yeah. This."
Majora started moonwalking around. He was so fast that Link's shots kept missing and images of Majora were left in a trail as he moonwalked.
Twilight managed to hit him with a magic bolt. He fell to the ground.
"BEAT HIM UP!" Pinkie Pie screamed with excitement and blew on a party whistle.
Even Fluttershy joined in this time as the ponies attacked. Link added a nice touch.
"One more to go!"
Majora's Incarnation backed off, then transformed into Majora's Wrath with the muscle-pumping grossness.
Majora instantly went for the whip maneuver and swung his whip across the ~~screen~~ room. It hit all of the ponies, who fell to the ground. Even Link couldn't stand it.
"Yes.... YES! I knew I could win. Now.... to finish you off!"
Majora raised his whip.
"Oh, no, you don't!"
Twilight gasped.
"Princess Celestia and Princess Luna?!"
Princess Celestia nodded. "I finally recovered from Majora's magic and found out where you were. I managed to wake up Luna."
"We'll be able to return all the harm you've caused," Luna said, speaking to Majora.
"Try me," Majora said, growling.
Princess Celestia and Princess Luna charged up a spell and fired.
"You can't kill me with that pathetic - "
It went right through Majora. And not the ghost-like - it hit him and ended up going through him.
Majora started shaking. Cracks started forming in his body.
Then finally, he exploded into dust.
Fluttershy let out a "Yay".
"We beat Majora!" Twilight jumped with joy.
"You still have to stop the moon!" Celestia pointed out.
"How about the Elements of Harmony?" Applejack suggested.
"Good idea, Applejack."
The ponies, with the help of the princesses, got back to the castle.
"Wow. Majora's evil lair was just the top room of the castle. I'm shocked," Twilight said, without sarcasm.
She dashed to the "Elements" room and handed her friends each of the elements.
"Now, let's activate them!"
They charged up.
A rainbow beam blasted out, countering the chaos energy on the moon. The rainbow made the moon start shaking, come to a stop, then slowly turn in the other direction.
The ponies stopped just as the moon was in the right place.
"We saved Equestria. I don't believe it."
"We couldn't have without Link here," Applejack said, pointing to Link.
Link blushed. "You guys helped a lot too." He had an idea. "Pinkie, how about that party?"
"I'm on it!" Pinkie Pie dashed to her house.

Author's Note

Yes, I know, the "tree on the moon" part was stupid. The thing is, I haven't actually beaten Majora's Mask. I'm just using some detailed stuff I learned from my BFO(best friend offline).
And this is my LONGEST chapter ever. In fact, it's probably actually considered a chapter.
