Wartime Equestria

"Come on Flutter-shy, we need to collect the wood from it." I said as Flutter-shy blocked access to a tree.

"I don't want to harm my critter friends' homes and families..." Flutter-shy said as I face-hoofed.

Chapter 2: Surviving the first night

It has been but 1 hour since me and Fluttershy awoke and found ourselves in "Blockland-Equestria"(or Mine Craft-Equestria since it is featured in Minecraft). We saw that the sun was halfway across the sky and that Luna, if she is still alive, would raise the moon soon. So, we headed in the same direction we went when the void opened and found a forest/jungle near the outskirts of pony-ville. Now this is where we stand, Flutter-shy blocking a source of wood to build stuff with and, of course, survive out in the shadowy, eerie forest.

"Flutter-shy, for all we know, we are the only 2 creatures/ponies left in this world or the bucking universe. We need the wood to build a shelter and survive in this block-land. If your animal friends are alive and well, they would want us to get the wood from this tree so that we can survive." I kept trying to explain and Flutter-shy, tearfully, allowed me to buck down the tree for the wood. We both looked up then and saw that there was still wood and stuff above them although it is not falling.

"I don't know much about physics," I began, "but aren't thing's supposed to fall when their bottom/base is removed?" I asked Flutter-shy who was equally confused that the tree was not falling/collapsing at this point.

"..." That was all I heard from Flutter-shy.

"You know what, let's not worry about that. Let's just get more wood." I said motioning for Flutter-shy to help her with the next one.

"O-okay..." Flutter-shy said barely audible to the tree-bucking of me and the wood popping to the ground. Long story short is we collected 64 blocks of wood from the trees in the forest and it was starting to turn nighttime as the moon started rising.

"Well, that means Luna must still be alive somewhere." I stated relieved. Both of us started building a shelter just as the moon fully appeared in the clear, starry night sky. That is when thing's turned bad for both of us, mostly Flutter-shy for, as we finished 1 of the walls, a skeleton pony started coming up to the both of us and aimed at Flutter-shy. Then, it shot.

"AAAIEGGH!" Flutter-shy screamed as the skeleton pony archer shot her in one of her legs.

"FLUTTER-SHY!" I yelled alarmed as I flew straight into the archer and started to fight it. I dodged all of the blows the skeleton pony tried to deal to me and I managed to kill said skeleton archer with a quick buck to the mid-section. I then went over to Flutter-shy who was shaking in fear and inspecting the hole wound the arrow made in her leg.

"Here, let me see it." I told Flutter-shy as I inspected the arrow. Flutter-shy showed me the hole and I knew we might have a minor problem with fixing it.

"Well.......buck I wish I knew stuff about doctoring." I said partially to myself and partially to Flutter-shy. Knowing there was nothing she could do out here because of those creatures, I quickly built the rest of the shelter. Flutter-shy, still hurting but able to walk good nonetheless, entered the shelter I just finished.

"So, this is our temporary shelter." I said as Flutter-shy looked around the 3x3x3 shelter's inside. The surprising fact for I was, even though Flutter-shy feels a lot of pain and the hole was a pretty deep one, she seemed perfectly fine. This made me sigh with relief as saw that.

"It's...nice." Flutter-shy commented on the non-developed inside.

"I managed to make us some sleeping mats for the night." I said laying them out and oblivious to Flutter-shy's insincerity of her comment. Flutter-shy decided to go into her's and rest, but I decided to go out for a bit.

"I will be right back Flutter-shy." I said while exiting the shelter that may or may not be temporary as I kept thinking about it..

"Good night, Rainbow." Flutter-shy said getting comfortable in her sleeping mat and closing her eyes to sleep.

"Good night, Flutters." I said as I exited the Shelter.

Rainbow quickly installed a door in the exit-way of the house and looked over the burning hell-pit that is ponyville from a cliff nearby the shelter.

"Good bye Pony Ville......and every-pony else I loved and cared for...."
