Chapters Demonic Wielders of Harmony
'How long as it been? ' thought Twilight. She, along with her friends and Spike where walking in the streets of Canterlot. '…..Three weeks. ' She remembered it had been three weeks since Princess Celestia sent a letter saying that Discord somehow got free and one week since she got another letter saying that Discord was seen with Chrysalis, the Queen of Changlings. It was also two days since the spirit of Nightmare Moon showed up in Ponyville with Discord and the Queen, causing mass destruction in their wake. Twilight shook her head, she couldn't focus on that right now her friends, the others that came with them, and herself needed to get to the castle to ask the princesses for help. Deep down Twilight knew that even the six bearers of the Elements of Harmony wouldn't stop the three most evil and dangerous beings ever to be battled. She looked up and peered at the moon. It was different without the mare in the moon anymore but to her the moon always seemed a tad brighter since Luna came back. Now it appeared as the moon had lost its glow. Twilight stopped walking and continued to stare.
“Hey Twi, how you holdin' up?” said a voice with a southern accent. Twilight snapped out of her trance and looked at the pony. It was Applejack. She wasn't wearing her trademark stetson, it was on the Apple Bloom's head who was asleep on Applejack's back.
“I'm fine Applejack” replayed Twilight.
“Ya sure?” asked Applejack, “'Cause you weren't always the best liar, sugar cube.”
Twilight gave a sigh, Applejack was right. She wasn't alright, the three villains that they had defeated had come back to attack their home. She looked back at the group that was with them. The group was consisted of her closest friends Applejack, Spike who was starting to fall asleep after walking for so long, Rainbow Dash, who had Scootaloo sleeping on her back, Fluttershy was walking next to Pinkie Pie, who wasn't bouncing around like she normally would because either she was still in a depressed from seeing Sugarcube Corner destroyed.
'Its a good thing that the Cakes left for Manehatten for that competition' thought Twilight. Rarity was walking carefully as not to wake Sweetie Belle, who was asleep on her back. Behind her was the remaining group Derpy and her daughter Dinky, Pipsqueak, Silver Spoon, Diamond Tiara, Big Mac, and Granny Smith (who was on a cart being pulled by Big Mac). She couldn't believe that this was happening. After a few minutes of walking they reached the entrance to the castle which had two Luna night guards on each side of the large metal door.
“Halt!” yelled one of the Luna night guards. “Who goes there?”
Twilight replied with “I'm Twilight Sparkle”
“Oh.. I'm sorry Miss Sparkle” said the guard, “The princesses have already received your letter. All of you, please follow me to your rooms.”
“But we need to see the princesses now!” said Twilight in a loud, demanding voice, awaking those in the group that were sleeping. “I'm sorry its just...”
“Its alright Miss Sparkle,” said the guard. “If you wish to see the princesses then follow me, they are in the throne room.” The guard opened the large doors and walked through. Twilight nods and follows the night guards, the others follow her. While walking to the throne room Twilight notices that there are more night guards than ever and she even saw a few of the morning guards as well.
'I see the princesses aren't taking any chances with this problem' thought Twilight. After a few minutes of following the guard, they arrived at the door to the throne room.
“They are right through here Ms. Sparkle.” said the guard as he opened the door. Twilight gave him a quick thank you and walked in followed by everypony else in the group. What she saw was both Princess Celestia and Princess Luna talking to her brother Shining Armor and his wife Princess Cadence. Upon hearing the door open Celestia looked at the group.
“Hello my faithful student,” said Celestia as she motioned for them to get closer. “I received your letter Twilight... I'm truly sorry about what has happened.”
“We'll be fine princess,” replayed Twilight, “We came here as soon as we can.” Rainbow Dash flew up to Celestia's face.
“Care to explain why Discord is free and hanging out with Chrysalis and Nightmare Moon?” asked Rainbow Dash in a demanding voice.
“Rainbow!” yelled Twilight, “That's no way to talk to the princess.” Celestia raised her hoof.
“Its fine my faithful student,” said Celestia keeping calm despite the situation and looked into Rainbow Dash's eyes, “Discord was free through very powerful dark magic.... Where it came from we do not now.” Rainbow Dash slowly descended not quite happy with that answer. Pipsqueak walked up and waved at Princess Luna and she waved back.
“Okay then so give as the Elements and we'll blast them like we did before... well Chrysalis would get blasted for the first time.”
“I don't think your six will be enough this time..” said Celestia in a sad voice.
“What do you mean by that?” asked Applejack. Luna was the one to respond to Applejack.
“It seems that thine foes are concealed in a dark magical aura that even with the Elements of Harmony you alone would do nothing to them.”
“You mean we can't do anything?!?” said Fluttershy who started to shake, on the verge of tears.
“Wait... you said alone..” said Rarity “What exactly do you mean by that?”
Celestia cleared her throat, “We have found another world where there are six beings that also harbor the Elements of Harmony but there are a few problems.... We don't know who they are or how they well act upon their arrival.”
“If they harbor the Elements like us I'm sure they'll be fine with it,” said Pinkie Pie, “If not I'll throw them a 'We are sorry for taking you from your world but please help us' party!”
“Yeah no one can refuse a Pinkie Pie party” said Rainbow Dash.
Celestia nodded in agreement for the party, “Now if everypony would follow us.. we'll summon them before going to bed.” Celestia got up along with Shining, Cadence, and Luna and went into a back room behind the throne room, everypony followed.

The Assassin and The Devil's Eyes
Nick, a 29 year old male with a very toned body, enjoyed his life in Hell. He had money, which was mostly made up of gems and precious metals, that he never really used. Not even to pay his rent on his apartment, which the locks probably were changed... again. He had a good job and the best reputation of being the most feared and deadliest assassin, being called the Stone Assassin for the payment he received most often, but recently he had been doing mercenary work such as protecting demons and creatures that paid very handsomely. It was rare for him to receive a job to kill now a days. He had good minions that followed his every order, though some would argue that they didn't like him and only stayed because of the cursed binding that was forced on them, but Nick honestly didn't give a fuck.
As luck would have it though, he was hired to kill someone. He was filled with joy knowing he would kill again. He became even happier knowing who he was going to kill, a succubus, and a very hot and sexy one at that. Though all succubi were hot, this one was definitely in the top twenty and the bonus for this contract was that “he could do anything he wanted”. Oh how he savored those words. He looked over at the body that laid next to him in the bed, it was the succubus. She had a bullet hole in her head, heart, and womb with her eyes still open out of fear. He didn't need to shoot the heart or the womb, he just did that because he could. He grabbed the succubus' head and pulled it up so his light violet eyes could look into her's.
“I had a really great time,” he said to the corpse, “you are definitely one of the best fucks I've ever had and I didn't even need to resort to raping you!” he gave a loud slightly evil laugh. A pounding at the door ceased his chuckling. “Seems as though your body guard is here to kill me.” He unceremoniously let go of the body, making it fall on his leg. “Hey get the fuck off,” he pushed the body off the bed making it hit the ground with a thud, “I don't like being touched by a dead whore.... okay thats a lie, but still!” He got up from the bed, still naked from the events that happened before the killing, his body was covered in scars and burn marks, most beings would say it was because he was careless when he started out but he knew the truth was that these scars came from his uncle, aunt, and twin cousins abusing him every day since he had to live with them after his mother, father, and younger sister died in a car accident.
He looked at his right arm, which he deemed his most demonic part, it was a dark purple color, his fingers had become sharp claws. The color slowly spread up his arm. Ever since he was twelve, it had slowly crawled its way up and now it was covering ninety percent of his arm. He liked it and if any thing didn't he would claw out their throat before ripping off any sexual organ within reach. He gave a little smile, thinking about the other uses it could do like ripping holes into reality to take him home to either his apartment, his old home and even his dead uncle's house but to him the best thing it was able to do was absorb beings and items, just like his great sword, rifle, and bullets for his rifle and revolver for later use. The pounding on the door become more fierce. “Geez, have a little patience, ya little bitch,” yelled Nick towards towards whatever was pounding on the door.
“I WILL FUCKING KILL YOU! YOU KILLED MY MISTRESS!!!” yelled back the being on the other side of the door.
“Yeah I would love to see that,” replied Nick. He ran his demon arm through his golden brown hair. “Now where the fuck is my stuff... Ah! There you are,” he said, spotting his stuff in a pile. He grabbed his pants that had half a leg ripped off, holes nearly every where on it. He put on the ragged pants, grabbed his belt that had a gun holster and twelve bullet holsters. Three were missing. He wrapped the belt around his waist making sure it was tight enough to not fall but not too tight to be uncomfortable. He grabbed his white, short-sleeved shirt and put it on. It had stitches all over it from being constantly hacked and slashed; dried blood caked on it here and there. He grabbed his leather jacket with its sleeves ripped off, just to make him look intimidating. He honestly didn't think it mattered but a woman from a bar he often went to said otherwise, so as to humor her, he ripped the sleeves off and hadn't fixed them since then. He wrapped his red bandana around his head and put on his black sunglasses. He peered over at the door and saw the hinges beginning to warp with the stress of whatever brute was raging on the other side. 'I got about five minutes, just enough,' Nick thought.
He looked around a bit more and found his only weapon he kept out, a revolver that was used to kill the succubus. The revolver had strange symbols all over it that he didn't fully understand, but the demon he bought it from said it made the gun more powerful, last a lot longer than traditional guns, and warp bullets in the chambers when its empty. He grabbed it and put it in its holster, and lastly he spotted his two most precious items: a silver necklace and a small chest. He grabbed the necklace and opened it to reveal a family picture of his mother, father, and him holding onto his baby sister. She was just a few months old in the photo. He remembered when the picture in the necklace was taken. It was his fifth birthday, Christmas Day. His mother was hugging his father both of them had expressions that reflected pure joy. His father's arm was on his shoulder, he had a huge smile on his face (a smile that he would never show anymore), holding onto his baby sister who was looking at him instead of the camera. He knew his parents didn't have much money but it didn't matter when they were together. He gave a small, more caring smile while looking at picture. The sound of a door hinge breaking threw him out of memory lane.
He closed the necklace and put it on, after that he grabbed the chest. To those who haven't seen or heard about Nick (which was a very rare group of people) it was a normal jewelery chest that he carried around, but inside it was his minions, beings made out of gems and precious metals (which was one of the many reasons why he wanted to be paid in them). They contained the souls of demons that he decided not to kill, but instead trap them to serve him. He did this after discovering a book on ancient golem rituals. It taught him about sealing souls into bodies of gems and metals and binding them to their new “master's” soul. He attached it to a small loop he made on his belt so it wouldn't fall off. He didn't know why he couldn't just put it into his demon arm for storage, but something made the chest react badly to it.
Finally the door was busted down and flew past Nick. He didn't flinch but instead looked at the approaching body guard. The body guard was a large gorilla-like demon who was clearly a couple feet taller than Nick and weighed much, much more than him. In the demon's one good eye was a void filled with pure rage and hatred towards Nick.
“Took you long enough, monkey boy,” taunted Nick, “I almost thought that I would've had to open the door, seems as though evolution hasn't quite hit you yet”
“YOU KILLED MY MISTRISS!” bellowed the demon, “I'LL RIP YOUR SKIN OFF AND FEAST ON YOUR FLESH!”
“Oh I'm so scared ,” replied Nick in a tone that was drenched in sarcasm, “I was hired to kill her and I did it now move along before I have to kill you too because I really wanna get paid right now and go to a bar.” The demon roared at Nick and charged at him. Before Nick could react he was uppercutted by the demon, he could feel his lower jaw cracking from the force of the punch and the blood that was starting to fill his mouth, as he went into the air the demon grabbed his leg with such force it broke the bones in it easily and proceeded to slam him into the floor multiple times. Nick could feel his spine and shoulder blades shatter and break even more each time he was slammed into the floor. After a few moments the demon threw Nick into the wall in which Nick was indented into it not even moving. The demon started to breathe even heavier from the lack of resting he had from breaking both the door and Nick's body.
“Ha, so much for being a great assassin,” the demon give a triumphant smile and turned around walking away from Nick's body. As the demon reached the door two bullets pierced his knees as he feel to the ground he screamed in pain, the pain it didn't just hurt it burned with such a sensation he knew only one thing could have caused it holy bullets. 'But where did the come from?' he thought in a panic state, with his strength he rolled over to his back, his eyes widen to see Nick standing, breathing heavily with his revolver's barrel smoking. “No! You can't be standing! You shouldn't even be alive!”
Nick gave a weak chuckle, “I have a neat little healing factor, I think its because of my arm but any way its time for a lesson you fucking monkey boy,” he cocked his gun, “This gun has three more bullets in it, these bullets are coated in banshee blood giving them amazing trajectory and penetrating power, also they're shrapnel rounds that explode the holy metal inside of them into your body. Best part is when heated by oh lets say your body heat that holy metal melts and courses through your veins slowly killing you and trust me you'll feel it.” The demon's eye widen, Nick was right he could feel the holy metal starting to melt and move through out his veins, he gave a scream in pain but was silenced when Nick placed foot on his windpipe. The demon reached for Nick's legs but was shot twice in both shoulders in a quick succession, his arms fell limply to the ground. “I would love to see the metal reach your brain if you have one that is and kill you but I'm on a time table and now that I have one more bullet,” Nick cocked his gun one last time pointing it to the demon's head, “Well the little bitch go down with his eye closed or with it open?” Nick gave an evil smile as the demon closed his eyes his and waited for the gun shot that would end his life. Then there was a bright flash of light and after moments of silence the demon slowly opened his eye and saw Nick had vanished. The demon didn't have time to wonder where Nick had gone has the pain from the melted holy metal was too great for him and passed out never to wake up again.
A seventeen year old boy grouchily woke up, slowly sat up, and yawned while stretching his arms. To anyone looking at him, they would believe he was just a normal seventeen year old with light brown hair and a light build. Then they would see his pure red iris's surrounding his pupils and see the Devil himself looking into their very souls. He didn't like when people freaked out about his eyes and he also didn't like that when he looked into s person's eyes he had the nearly irresistible urge to make a 'deal' with them. Luckily for him, he found a way around it. Wearing a pair of sunglasses, any kind would, could curb the power of the urges.
He felt something shift in his bed. He looked next to him and saw his girlfriend sleeping peacefully. He gave a faint smile then chuckled at the thought of their own names. Possibly it was destiny for them to fall in love or maybe God and the Devil had a strange sense of humor. He looked at his digital clock. It was 8:12 A. M. on a Sunday and he knew his girlfriend doesn't like it when they are late for church (as much as he didn't like to go). He decided it would be best to wake her before he would feel the only thing hell couldn't copy, the fury of a woman's wrath. He nudged her, saying “Hey Eve wake up.” Eve slowly opened those beautiful, blue eyes that were the perfect contrast to his red eyes. She gave him a small smile.
“I'm glad to see I have you trained Adam,” Eve said with a small chuckle.
“Oh, I don't think its training, just simple fear of you being pissed.” replied Adam. He got up, got dressed in his favorite red 'Devil Child' t-shirt, a pair of jeans, and his sunglasses. “The last time you got pissed I had to run away from your guardian angel.... he still tries to attack me when you call him... even when you aren't pissed at me.”
“Well...” said Eve, “I think he just hates you.”
“I don't think hate is the right word,” Adam responded has he went to the bathroom. He looked at himself in the mirror. “God I look terrible.”
“Oh I wouldn't say that.” said a voice behind Adam. He turned around, saw a tall man in a deep red suit, and screamed at the top of lungs, sounding like a little girl. “Seventeen years old and still screaming like a girl?”, said the man.
“The hell are you doing here Satan?” asked Adam. “Hey! You scream like a woman too.”
“I do not.” replied Satan, “Besides can't I come and visit the boy I gave my eyes to?”
“No,” said Adam flatly, “The only time you really visit Kain, Olivia, or me is because you, and I really do mean you, want something”
“I'm hurt,” replied Satan. Adam gave Satan a look that demanded why he was here. “Okay, okay. You got me. I came by to ask a little favor.”
“How 'little' is this favor?”
“Oh I just need you to enroll into a Catholic school again and stir up some sin is all”
“What!? I already did that once before and almost got fried for it!”
“A minor miscalculation on my part...”
“Minor miscalculation!? Father John's guardian angel almost killed me! If it wasn't for Eve stepping up to make sure I didn't do anything too extreme, you would have been looking for a new person to give your eyes to!”
“I know. I know... Look this time I consulted God and the other two and now you don't have to worry about them,” Satan said with a smile.
“What do they get?”
“I'm sorry?”
“Satan when a deal is made both parties get something. What. Did. They. Get?”
“Right..um... lets see here...” Satan replied as he pull out a contract, “No....no.....no.....no....Ah ha! Here is it,” Satan cleared his throat and spoke with a voice that seemed like it was saying a royal decree, “As in conjunction to the agreed terms Party A, you, will have no trouble with Party B, God and those other two people, while you try to corrupt the student body of a Catholic school of Party C's, your's truly, choice”
“Okay. I'm following so far.”
Satan continued, “And as such Party B will choose what shall be the proper punishment for Party A when done.” As he said the final words the burst into flames, ashes falling to the ground.
“Punishment?”
“Yes. Its the only way they would have agreed to it. Once you are done your punishment well commence.”
“Guess I have to wait until I'm done to prepare for it then...”
“I'll regret this but... What is it?”
“Yeah...this is the hard part..” said Satan as he shift uncomfortably, “They taking Eve away on some spiritual guidance thing.. and you won't be able to see her.” Adam's body started to slightly shake. He could believe it. He wouldn't be able to she her until the guidance was done, she once told him that a guidance could take from three days to three months. He loved her too much to not see her for that long. He fell to his knees.
“That's cruel....” said Adam in a monotonic tone.
“Yeah well...the perfect punishment for you Adam besi-.. Adam you're glowing.”
Adam looked at Satan, confused. Did he hear him right, glowing? Adam looked at his body and quickly stood up in a panic. He was glowing and he was getting brighter by the second.
“Satan wha-” Adam couldn't finish his sentence as a bright flash of light happened and Adam vanished. Satan looked at the spot that once held Adam.
“Uh....kid?” said Satan as he waved his hand over the spot, “Adam?” Satan heard the door opened and looked to see Eve staring at him with an expression that was getting angrier by the second. “Oh...uh..Hi, Eve..how have you been?” Satan said trying to give has best smile and hoped it would work.
“Where. Is. My. Boyfriend?” asked Eve while she clutched her fists.
“Well...you..see..... I don't know.” replied Satan, giving Eve a nervous laugh.
“LANCELOT!!” yelled Eve. Then in a smaller flash of light, behind Eve stood a large golden armored, six-winged, angel-knight with a lance.
“Oh my, just look at the time. I must be getting back to Hell. Those souls won't torture themselves, you know.” Satan said hoping Eve would let him go. Being in this form he was constricted to only a very small fraction of his power.
“Get him.” ordered Eve.
“As you wish!” said Lancelot, thumping his chest. Lancelot charged and Satan ran, screaming like a lady while busting through the bathroom wall.

The Hybrid Prince and The Necromancer
A young man, being thousands of years old but still with a body that was 19 years of age, was sleeping peacefully upside down on the ceiling. He was dreaming of the night he would spend with his lovely wife or maybe his pet dragon (who was sleeping outside the castle that his family lived in). He was rudely awoken with a metal pot striking his head. He quickly woke up and lost his instinctual grip on the ceiling, fell, and face-planted onto the floor of his bedroom with an “Ow.”
“Get up 3-D,” said a male voice no older then him. 3-D looked up at the man, a mummy, and well older wasn't really the thing to say the man was much older than 3-D. “You're mom wants your opinion on some food.” 3-D stood up with a groan and dusted himself off.
“You know a simple tap would wake me up, Jackal.” 3-D said as he looked at a clock, “9:50 A. M.? A bit early for me.”
“Yeah well your mother wanted you,” replied Jackal, “Beside I couldn't find the broom.” 3-D rolled his multicolored eyes. “Hey, I saw that! Now get going! You know how impatient humans can be.”
“You think being married to my father would have changed that.” said 3-D after which both of them shared a laugh. “I best not say that though, never know when he might be listening.”
“Well his royal highness is asleep in his coffin so we don't have to worry.” said Jackal in which 3-D replied with a shrug and left. As 3-D walked down the halls, he couldn't help but feel like something was calling to him. He shook it off as being woken up early in the day. He was planning to go back to sleep after seeing his mother so he decided not to change out of his pj's. It was a simple black silk robe that could never be lifted up, so he could sleep upside down without worry. He liked it but between “royal sleep wear” and rules that he had to follow, he didn't get out much to see his wife, Emily. He sighed. Being a hybrid of 'creatures of the night' gave him many things but it was also a curse, trying to fight each instinct that all the creatures demanded him do. He reached the room that his mother would be in, the kitchen.
He braced himself for the worst, though he loved his mother she isn't what one would call a chief at best she was a killer with food even if she thought she was a great cook. He'd seen some of his father's toughest minions fall from one taste of his mother's cooking. He was glad having the stomach of both a werewolf and zombie (that could digest almost anything with no problem) but the food his mother made it...it was stuff that everything in the darkness feared. He walked in.
What he say on the other side was his mother, a human that was granted eternal life through a spell, with her back to him, cooking but it was more like brewing poison by the smell of it. To the left of her was the butler, 3-D considered him to be an uncle of some sort has he had the butler's DNA mixed with his. The butler looked at him with a smile, but had a clear expression of worry if one looked closely enough. He smiled backed and wave. His mother turned around and smiled at her son.
“Hello dear,” she said in her cheery voice, “Glad you could come by and taste my newest masterpiece.”
“Always glad to help mother,” said 3-D trying to put on a brave face, “So mother what did you make today?”
“Meat stew.”
“What kind of meat?”
“Well thats the thing I couldn't decide what meat to use. So I grabbed random bits of meat and threw them in with some spices and what not.”
“Well...it's...um...good to experiment.”
“Indeed,” said the butler.
“Thank you, both of you,” said his mother. She grabbed a bowl and filled it with the stew. “Now please try it.” She held it out to 3-D with a smile. He looked at and didn't believe that he was looking at a bowl of meat stew but a black abyss and was that hissing coming from the stew. 3-D gulped as he grabbed a spoon and took a bite of the stew. If he had been anything else he might have died, been reborn, and died again in a three second span. He didn't know what the taste was and he thought of drinking gasoline, a garlic/silver juice mixture, and light his mouth on fire and see if that got rid of the unknown taste or kill him first. He saw his entire life flash before his eyes, then he swallowed.
“Its....definitely....something....mother.....” 3-D said, using all will power to keep himself from throwing up after each word. His mother smiled completely unaware of her son's current life or death struggle.
“Glad you like it,” she said, “I think I should give this to the guards for lunch.”
“NO!” yelled 3-D, which made the butler and his mother look at him, “I mean...no its good but...uh how about you add a few things to the mix...because...uh...I think its missing something.”
“Really?” asked his mother to which he replies with a nod, “You're right I should make sure its one hundred percent perfect before feeding the guards,” 3-D gave a silent thank you to what ever deity made his mother think that. “I'll be back to make some more after I get some ingredients from town.” and with that she left.
The butler looked at 3-D and said with a smile “You know one day eating your mother's cooking well kill you.”
“Yeah but until then I'm glad to take a few bullets for everyone else.”
“You do have your mother's caring heart..... also there's medicine in the basement”
“OH THANK YOU!” 3-D said hugging the butler and ran off to the basement. The butler shook his head playfully and started to clean up 3-D's mother's mess. Later in the basement 3-D was looking for the medicine. “No.....No.......No....here we go.” He grabbed a green-blue glass bottle that said 'Witch's Cure-all Stomach Ache's' on it. “Guess this is what I'm looking for.” He popped open the cork and drink the entire bottle without a second thought. “Bleg. This is awful.... but still better than that 'stew' mother made...” He yawned, sat down on the cold stone floor, and leaned against the colder wall. “Well thanks to that stuff I don't think I'll be able to sleep upside down without throwing up.” He gave a chuckle then sat there for a few minutes in complete silence. Then he felt it again, that feeling of something calling him. He stood up and looked around.
“Hello?” he called out and waited for a response, “Anyone out there?” Then he noticed that the room started to get brighter. “What the hell? There's no light down here!” The light started to get brighter and it started to burn his vampiric skin. He looked at his arms and realize this light was coming from him. The burning sensation grew as the light became more brilliant until it flashed and 3-D vanished.
A young lady wearing a black skirt and shirt was wandering through field of black roses that surrounded her school, giggling. She couldn't believe it, her brother got her a new voodoo doll and she was ecstatic. She threw the doll up into the air and caught it as she skipped about. She stopped and laid on her back and looked at the doll, her smile growing bigger the longer she stared at it. It was a simple doll made of straw, shaped into that of a person, just like her old one. The difference though was that this one had a smiling face and a tag around its neck saying 'To Maria, From Keith'. Oh, how she loved her brother. He might have been less than happy most of the time but she believed it was because he studied black magic while she studied necromancy so they couldn't see each other until class was out. He was in “Advanced Black Magic” while she was still in “Introduction to Necromancy”. She was made fun of that because she was sixteen and was in a class of seven year old children that could do better necromancy than herself. She didn't like that because she was very powerful but to use her necromancy she had to do something that she didn't like to do.
She shook her head and looked at her bracelet that she made, it had two chains. On one end it was a skull with its lower jaw missing and it was used to summon her undead minions. She didn't like to call them minions, like everyone else, who used necromancy. She considered them her friends. The other end was empty and had an open chain link. She attached the doll to it, now it was complete. She just kept smiling and sat up.
“What shall I do today?” asked Maria to no one in particular. Then she got an idea, even though she had to do the one thing she hated to access her full power, she could still summon a small skull familiar. She closed her eyes and a dark aura came out of her chained skull and surrounded her. The surrounding flowers started to wilt but not enough to die. Then out of the ground came a small, grey-ish skull. Though the skull didn't have any skin, it was smiling to see Maria again. “Hello again Kull.” She petted Kull, its non-existent smile grew bigger and her smile grew too.
“Sorry that I haven't summoned you in a while.... Can you forgive me?” she asked to which Kull replied with a nod. “Oh thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou.” She hugged Kull and gave him a small kiss on his forehead. If Kull had cheeks or blood he would be blushing. “Now what shall we do today?”
“Oh look, sister, it's the worst Necromancer in history.” said a female voice coming from behind. Maria looked behind her and saw the twins Rachel and Jessie. “What are you doing here loser?”
“I'm just enjoying the day Rachel.” answered Maria hoping they would go away.
“With that pathetic excuse for a familiar?”
“He's not pathetic..he's my friend.”
“Oh thats right, the loser doesn't have any friends because she's till in IntroMancy.”
“Hey sister,” said Jessie.
“Yes?”
“Why don't we fight her and just take her powers away, it's not like she needs them.”
“Yeah you're ri- HEY GET BACK HERE!!” yelled Rachel as she saw Maria running away. Rachel and Jessie both glowed a dark aura and summoned two identical saber tooth skeletons. They got on them and yelled, “Get her!”. The sabers' gave chase. Maria looked back and saw them closing the distance, fast.
“Good thing I didn't wear heels today.” Maria said to Kull who was floating beside her. She didn't want to fight, it was against the rules to fight any where but the arena. She also didn't want to lose her friends if she lost. She reached the wall surrounding the field. “Oh no...”. She turned around to see the saber's slow down as they got closer to her.
“Why don't you just give up loser,” said Jessie, “We both know you're a pathetic necromancer. So just let us destroy your summon skull and we'll leave you alone.” Kull floated in front of his mistress to defend her. “Oh look the familiar wants to take us on.” The twins began to laugh even the sabers gave the motion of laughing. Maria fell to her knees, looked down, closed her eyes, and began to cry. “Oh look sister, the loser is crying!” They laughed even harder. Maria kept crying, waiting for them to stop laughing and attack her then she felt something brush against her hand. She opened her eyes and saw a mouse sniffing her hand.
“No...please...go away..” Maria said but the mouse just looked into her eyes and she knew what they said, 'use me'. She had no choice, she opened her hand and the mouse crawled onto it. If she didn't want to lose her friends she had to do the one thing she hated most of all, she crushed the mouse in her hand. She felt the mouse's eyes pop out of its skull, the bones breaking in her hand, and the blood that now coated her hand. Then it happened, a dark aura burst forth from the skull and surrounded her. The aura was twice as large as the twin's aura and five blue flames and one pure black flame appeared before her.
“What the hell is that!?!” asked Rachel, her voice tinted with fear. Jessie didn't answer, she was too focused on what was happening in front of them. Maria slowly stood up and looked at them. They felt a ice cold chill run down their spines as they looked into her eyes that were filled with hatred, anger, and sadness.
“You....made me do it...”, Maria said after moments of silence tears still falling from her eyes, “Now witness my power.” She looked at the six flames and touched one of the blue ones. The flame grew in size, fell to the ground and created a circle of fire around Maria. “Come forth... Kilucks!”
Five large, black blades irrupted from the ground around Maria. She rose as a 12ft armored skeleton came out of the circle.
“What the fuck is that!!?! asked Jessie fearfully. They looked at it but couldn't believe that Maria could summon something like that. The skeleton was wearing black armor on his chest, four arms came out of his sides, an arm coming out of his back, each wielding a black blade. The most interesting thing they saw about the skeleton was a yellow smiley face on the breast plate. Maria sat down on the skeleton's shoulder, gently petting its check.
“No...fucking....way...” said Rachel “Impossible....you...you...”
“I love each of my friends but to summon them I have to kill to gain that power..... I don't like it...” replied Maria. “Now..leave before I let Kilucks have his..... fun.”
“W-we won't stand down. R-right Jessie?” asked Rachel trying to put on a brave face but failing miserably “....Jessie?” She looked beside herself and notice Jessie was running away. “You c-c-coward!!”
“I'm sorry sister but I'm am a coward that can't hide it!” yelled Jessie as she got farther away. Rachel couldn't believe it, her own sister ditched her. Now her rage out weighed her fear. She faced Maria rage filling her eyes.
“I'll kill you!” yelled Rachel.
“Kilucks.... go easy on her....please.” said Maria. Kilucks nodded and looked at Rachel and her saber tooth. He took a step forward and the saber took a step back.
“Wha-what are you doing?” asked Rachel to her saber tooth. The saber kept backing away, matching each step of Kilucks's. “D-don't run away you coward!”
“You aren't very nice to him....” said Maria.
“Yeah. So?”
“A familiar of any kind will protect is master but it will only defend when it thinks it's worth it.” explained Maria. “You don't treat him right...you scold him when he does his best... so why should he defend you when he knows he'll be scolded any way...”. Rachel's eyes widen after every word. She shook her head, she couldn't believe any word Maria said. The saber was here to serve her not be pampered. She would prove Maria wrong, any one who pampered their familiar like Maria was weak.
“You're wrong!” yelled Rachel, “Pampering makes them weak and I'll prove it. GET HER!” The saber's fear of its master outweighed the fear of the skeleton in front of him. It settled into a pouncing position as Rachel dismounted.
“I'll take care of you.” said Maria. “Just end this quickly Kilucks.” Kilucks nodded. He knew that his master did not like to fight unless it was needed. He looked at his opponent, a saber tooth skeleton. It took some will to summon something like a saber tooth and control it. Kilucks had an idea instead of fighting this saber tooth, he would instead talk to it. Now most necromancers only know that they can talk to their minions but what most don't know is that minions can talk to each other with out their masters knowing. Only necromancers that have a strong connection to their minions would be able to listen and even participate in such a conversation. There were only two that Kilucks knew had this connection and those two were the Necromancer Headmaster and his master Maria.
“There is nothing to fear here saber..” spoke Kilucks in a deep voice of a knight that has seen many battles.
“I-I'm not scared,” said the saber in a female voice. “I...I'm cold...” Kilucks gave a little chuckle. “Don't laugh at me!”
“Sorry but here's the thing... my friend wishes not to fight.”
“But my master says so... so I must..”
“I feel sorry for you...”
“What? Why?”
“Because my friend Maria has taken care of us since she acquired us. She is kind, loving, and never wishes us harm.” As Kilucks finished he felt something. He looked around.
“Kilucks.. is something wrong?” asked Maria. He didn't know what was wrong or what he was feeling. All he knew was that something was going to happen.
“What trick is that?” asked Rachel pointing at Maria and Kilucks.
Maria slowly turned her head to Kilucks. “What are you tal-”. She stopped mid sentence. She couldn't believe what she was looking at. Kilucks was glowing a faint light. “Kilucks?” Kilucks pointed at her. She looked at herself and saw that she was also glowing. “Ooooo pretty light....” Then the light flashed and both the necromancer and her friend were gone.
Rachel looked at the spot that once had Maria. Maria was gone and she had one thought in her head that she screamed at the top of her lungs towards the sky, “THE HEADMASTERS ARE GOING TO KILL ME!!”
