A Pink Haired Miracle

The sky was nice and bright as Twilight, Fluttershy, accompanied by Angel, and Rainbow Dash walked through the open field outside of Ponyville.  Twilight dragged them along to help her with an experiment she was working on that involved teleporting things to other worlds. They stopped in a very wide-open spot with no obstructions in the area. "Alright this look's like a decent enough spot for testing. Rainbow Dash can you help me set up my equipment?" Twilight asked her. Rainbow just nodded at her. She didn't really feel like talking today since she was still feeling a bit tired after attempting a few new moves the other day and helping out Applejack with some renovations to the apple farm. "Is there anything I can do Twilight?" Fluttershy asked. She hadn't really been communicating with Twilight for about a week because of how busy she was with this newest experiment. "Oh... um..." Twilight said. "I think... Oh! How about you look around for some stuff I can use to teleport."

"Alright, I'm on it." Without a hitch she ran off to look for something Twilight could use as a guinea pig, so to speak for this experiment. Eventually she came back with some rocks, sticks, and weird berries all of which were wrapped in a small satchel. All of the equipment had been set up. A magnifying glass set hovering over a symbol of what looked like a clock with 8 hands and 24 numbers with a symbol between each hand, all of them in different shapes. There was also a sky blue crystal placed in the center on a stand. She didn’t think she was gone long enough for them to be done though.

“Will these do?” she said after laying the satchel down.

“Yes, thank you Fluttershy.” She looked up to the sky where Dash was holding a circle made up of clouds. The inside was the same size as the symbol on the ground was. “Alright Rainbow Dash, get the ring and place it over the symbol so that the crystal has a direct beam of sunlight!”

“Alright.” She called out. She moved the cloud ring directly under the sun and a beam of light came down on the crystal. It started to turn lighter and lighter eventually turning white and shining radiantly. All of this was interrupted when a strong gust of wind blew some of the mirrors Twilight brought over. The sky started to become even darker and soon even stronger wind was blowing. It was so strong it knocked the cloud off it’s original position and sent the beam to a mirror that reflected off of the crystal and went in the same direction it was headed originally. A bright light flashed and blinded everyone near it. It could even be seen by passers-by in town. Twilight got up and rubbed her eyes while she adjusted them to the sunlight. Rainbow did the same and looked around. “Hey Twilight?” she asked.

“Yeah?”

“Where’s Fluttershy?”
