Colt, his tale is long and winding but filled with tragedy, joy, fear, fury, pain, but most of all, courage. What better place to start than the beginning? He was born in the human world but didn't stay there long. At a young age, he learned of his ability to travel to different worlds. There were a few in particular that he visited frequently though. Equestria was one of them.
When he entered Equestria, he was transformed into a little green Pegasus with a multi-colored mane. Colt traveled from town to town, occasionally stealing an apple or two to keep himself fed. He was travelling along a desert road, searching for some form of civilization. Colt noticed something off in the distance, a giant cloud of smoke. he ran in the direction of the smoke until he reached the top of a sand dune that was blocking his vision. There were faint screams and just about a mile away was a town, but a large building in the center of town was on fire.
Colt ran to the town and got a closer look at the building. It seemed to be an apartment building by the looks of it. There were ponies running and screaming in fear, looking for loved ones, and trying to put out the raging inferno. The little Pegasus was stricken with pure fear as he watched the tragedy occur. Once he regained his focus, he only had one thought; run, but he couldn't. His body wouldn't move no matter how hard he tried. During Colt's travels, he heard the word "Courage" many times, but he never knew what it really was.
It was now or never, and Colt knew he had to do something. At that moment, a rainbow explosion occurred in the sky, sending a shock-wave of energy surging through the air. Once it reached him, the energy resonated throughout his entire body. With a flash of light, Colt was the size of Celestia! Except, something was wrong. He wasn't in control of his own body. Someone or something was forcing him to run into the blazing building. But there was something else, something blocking his vision as if he were gazing through a helmet.
He wasn't able to do much else but look around very slightly. From what he could see, Colt was wearing a full on helm, but that was it. From what he felt though, he had on a full set of armor. Returning the frantic action that wasn't of his own accord, it seemed the being that was in control was pushing away debris that was blocking ponies from getting out. The flame was going to bring down the entire building within moments if it wasn't quelled. Suddenly, Colt felt all of his muscles working again and even though he was in a different body, Colt was in control again.
He couldn't explain it but it felt as if thousands of years worth of knowledge was pouring into his head. Without hesitation, Colt knew what he must do. He took flight with his new, fully armored wings and burst through the ceiling. Along his journeys, Colt learned a few helpful things. Such as, The only way to put out a large fire, is to set an even larger fire next to it. Colt hovered in the air several yards above the raging inferno. At this time, Colt was acting out of pure instinct. He didn't care why he somehow changed form, why he had this strange golden colored armor, or why he had a horn. All that mattered, was this.
The alicorn balled up in the air, and charged his horn. As a great energy charged, there was a moment of pure silence, and Colt thought to himself "So this, is what courage is." And with that, colt was immediately surrounded by a massive ball of fire. Immediately he felt the scorching heat of the flame. Every second, the flame was enlarging and growing extremely hotter. The pain of the fire was unbearable, but Colt knew this had to be done, even if it meant his death. Soon, the oxygen around the building was being consumed by the ball of fire above. Many of the ponies below stopped, and stared in awe of the burning orb. Colt was trying his best to hold out, but it was greatest pain he's ever experienced. The armor couldn't withstand the heat, and was starting to melt onto him. Colt could only hold out for a few more seconds before he would pass out. Everypony in the building beneath had escaped relatively unharmed. Just as the fire on the building died out, Colt stopped the spell. The immense fireball in the sky exploded into a supernova.
Fire shot out into every direction, looking almost like fireworks. A small green Pegasus fell, unconscious, directly to the ground. Colt barely felt the impact. Everything was hazy, and distorted. He looked at himself for a brief second. A lot of his fur was blackened and singed off, He had burn marks everywhere, and the tip of his tail was still slightly on fire. But something was strange. Colt's thighs were glowing, and something was starting to appear. Before he could realize what was happening, he passed out.
Colt slowly opened his eyes to a white room with machines everywhere. He looked around a bit, and was surprised to see he was in hospital room. He flipped the covers off of himself, and looked at his thigh. Instead of just a bare green spot, there was a cutie mark. It was a sword, with a blue handle, and a yellow triangular gem on it. (Brohoof to those who know the reference.) He couldn't tell what it meant, but he didn't care. He was just happy to be alive.
Colt got up from the bed, and looked out the window. It looked like midnight, by the position of the moon. The green pegasus opened the window and climbed out. He knew if he stayed that he'd just be put in an orphanage. He ran from the town, onward to wherever the world would take him next. He turned his head for a second and laughed. He risked his life to save a town that he didn't even know the name of.
Fast forward a few years. Colt was now 14. He had learned many spells, acquired many artifacts, trained for many years, entered new worlds, joined several organizations, wielded the sword displayed on his cutie mark, and obtained the ability to transform into a dragon, wolf, human, and pegasus. He was now an expert adventurer. Throughout his journeys, Colt had finally learned of the true meaning of "Courage"
Even though he was 14, when Colt transformed into a pegasus, he was the size of a full grown pony. His main and tail consisted of red, blue, yellow, and dark green. It represented the four main elements he used: fire, ice, electricity, and earth. Because of his abilities in other forms, he could use weakened magic as a pegasus, but only elemental.
It was only one month after he met the mane six, that Colt needed a place to stay. He didn't have a job, and his only revenue was odd jobs. All the houses were too expensive for him to afford alone. He needed the help of some friends. One pony came to mind.

Thanks for reading. The next chapter will be published the week after this one does. The first few chapters will be consecutively published, then the ones after come when I get the ideas. Sorry, the first 4 chapters are only 1,000 to 1,500 words. Once those are finished, the following chapters should be at least 5,000 to 6,000 words. cya
A green pegasus with an agitated face walked through the market, turning his head in every direction. "Why did he have to disappear NOW, of all times?" Colt thought to himself. "Iv'e searched every possible spot in Ponyville, where could he be?" His face started to gain an angry expression.
Finally, Colt threw his hooves up in despair and shouted "where could he be!?" He laid on the ground for a minute, but his ears perked up and stayed. Though all the chatter and commotion, Colt could hear the sound of an electric guitar. He shifted through the crowd, following the noise. He stopped as a cart passed by, and behind it
was a black grey pegasus, with short a short red mane and tail. He was wearing shades and playing an electric V guitar on an amp to a crowd of onlookers.
His cutie mark was two electric V guitars crossed, with wings, and flames behind them. There was a case with a good amount of bits inside near him. He finished a song just as Colt approached. Everypony disbanded and went back to their shopping and browsing. He tilted his sunglasses down just enough to clearly see the livid pegasus approaching. "Colt!" He exclaimed as he flipped up his shades and set down his guitar. The "Rockstar" opened his arms for a hug but was greeted with firm hoof to the stomach instead. "What was that for?" He wheezed, clenching his stomach. "I have searched EVERYWHERE for you. And the one time I need you, You're not there." Colt huffed, lightening up his mood.
"Sorry? I'm just putting on a little gig for a few extra bits." The grey pegasus said, regaining his composure. "So, what do you need?" He added.
Begin Origin
Flying Visord, also known as Flying V, and Roland to his friends, was born into a wealthy family in Canterlot. Even though he was taught to be proper and mannerly, he was always a bit out of line. His parents played in the Royal Canterlot Orchestra. Like every other high class parent in Canterlot, they wanted their foal to play the violin, in hopes that he could one day play with them in the orchestra. Flying V didn't want to play something so "Boring" but his parents insisted otherwise.
Secretly, is friend who was a master at guitar, taught him how to play. He wasn't very good at first, but got the hang of it after a few weeks. One day, while he was practicing, Flying V's parents found out about these lessons from a neighbor. They immediately banned him from playing such an "Atrocious" instrument, and from seeing his friend again.
He still continued learning, but not nearly as much. Soon, he was teaching himself, because seeing his friend was too risky. A few years past, and now he too, was a master at guitar. For his birthday, he received a V shaped electric guitar from his friend. It was Flying V's favorite present he had ever received. He customized it to his liking, and stowed it away when his parents were near his room.
Only a month after his birthday, a concert was coming up for the Royal Canterlot Orchestra. Of course, his parents wanted him to attend. Little did they know, he was planning something great. It was the night of the concert, and it was in full swing. It took a little while before Flying V's parents realized he wasn't in the crowd. His mom shrugged and continued to play her viola. The song had reached a quieter section near the end, and this is when the plan was set into action.
As soon as most of the instruments had refrained from playing, Flying V burst through one of the windows near the stage, with his guitar. He immediately started playing an extremely advanced solo. It was a few moments before some ponies started to nod their heads a bit to the music. The entire Orchestra was still in awe, especially his parents. Their son was now playing a great song, with the very same instrument that they condemned. Once he finished his solo, the crowd started clapping and cheering for him.
Some guards came up to apprehend him for the vandalism, but he didn't care. Even in this situation, he simply started shouting "Thank you so much!" He didn't know at the time, but something was appearing on his hips. Two crossed guitars, with wings, and flames in the background. While he was being carried off, his parents could only feel a sense of pride.
That night, he was picked up from the station. On the walk back home, his parents never scolded him or showed an angry expression. They smiled and told him "We're so proud of you." Within the next few days, all of his rock memorabilia was put back into his room, and he became well known for his skill in Canterlot.
End Origin
"I need your help." Colt said, with a serious face. "With?" Flying V asked. "I need a place to stay. I know you can't live in hotel rooms forever, So, we can help each other out. I don't have nearly enough to afford a house alone, and you don't either." Colt replied. "I see what you're getting at, but I don't make as much as you'd think. You know my job back at Vinyl's club?" "Yeah, what about it?" Colt asked. Flying V laughed for a second. "Well, I might have accidentally turned up the volume on my guitar a bit to loud. I also might have blown up the amps with said guitar five seconds later."
Colt's expression changed to confused. "What are we going to do now?" He asked. "Well, there is one pony whose in the same situation as us." Flying V murmured. "Surely you don't mean-Yep." Colt's sentence was cut short. "Let's go find him. He hangs around the park a lot." V said, pointing a hoof in the direction of the park. "Fine" Colt replied.
It didn't take long to reach the park, the market wasn't that far off. Everywhere there were fillies and colts playing with their friends and family. Joyous smiles surrounded the two as they searched for their friend. They searched all over the park, but to no avail. Colt searched around a tree for the millionth time, but something hard fell on his head. "Ow!" he whispered as he looked up into the foliage.
Sitting on a concealed branch, was the exact pony he was looking for. "Found him!" Colt shouted. "Huh?" the pony in the tree asked, looking around for the voice.
