Tokyo Equestria

(A/N- This chapter is more to tell you that I'll finish this rather that to continue the story. Sorry it's short and sucks, but you should expect bad things from me. More later, see ya. -Playcolt)

Twilight Sparkle had greatly adjusted to the new world she'd unexpectedly been pulled into. She had grown omnivorous, could run and jump and climb with two legs, and her fingers grew dextrous and nimble. Occasionally though, Ko would find the young girl rubbing at her forehead or trying to look up as though something was missing.

Oh right...She said she was a unicorn in her world. Missing a big old bone there isn't she?

Twilight sat in the courtyard behind the church with Ko. The girl sat on a branch up in a tree, keeping her eyes screwed shut for minutes at a time before frantically scribbling down ink onto paper. Beneath her, the rowdy boy was standing in a fighting stance, his loose karate pants still partially stained with blood. His tight muscular stomach was covered in sweat, and half had a large bandage stuck to it. He had cushioning martial arts gloves on that had several scuff marks on the knuckle brace and were falling apart at the wrist on the left hand. Similar, also dirty braces covered his shins and the tops of his feet. Repeatedly he struck at the pad wrapped around the trunk of the tree, punching and kicking for several minutes before he would take a break and bounce around on his feet.

Twilight winced with every heavy hit from the boy onto the tree when she was writing, and eventually she slammed her parchment and pen onto her lap.

"Do you have to do that Ko!"

"Yes."

"Why? Please explain to me, why, you must disturb me!"

Ko grit his teeth and slammed his leg into the tree one hard time and sighed. He turned away from the irate young woman and held his bandaged side.

"I have to fix my body, it's gotten slow, gotten weak. The time I had to spend in the hospital made my muscles languish even more. You're smart- that means I have to be strong, if we're a team."

Twilight slowly climbed out of the tree and walked behind Ko, wrapping her arms around his waist and hugging him from behind. She pressed her face into his toned back and breathed deeply. He flinched inherently, but soon had relaxed and was holding Twilight's hands.

"You need to rest Ko, you've been working too hard since you got out, you'll make your wounds worse."

"Twi...you're right, I know... but I was stabbed- right in front of you. I know those guys, I don't know what happened to make them leave, but if they hadn't than they would have...would have...done things. To you. I can't let that happen to you."

The two stood together, Twilight embracing the sweating boy from behind for several minutes in silence before she spoke.

"You smell terrible."

Ko laughed and stepped out of the girls hold.

"I'm sweating, I would have thought you'd get used to it now. Do ponies sweat?"

Twilight repeatedly opened and closed her mouth, before she simply shrugged. The two walked arm in arm into the church, and Twilight went upstairs while Ko went down and showered.

The purple haired girl yawned when she sat at the short table, and began to read over her notebooks and fevered drawing. She had flipped through them idly, before the door slid open and Ko walked in, wearing a towel around his waist. Twilight looked back and blushed before she quickly turned her attention to the books. Ko stood behind her for a minute, looking in at the papers, before he grabbed one of his kenpo-gi suits and changed into it.

"So what are all these drawings? Circles and lines and runes and stuff, what's it mean?"

"These are magical leylines and augmented spheres of power that float through the universe and influence fate and reality. A unicorns magic, or an alicorns, works by altering the shape or consistency of the magical leylines and fixating them into bent points that change the physical world. By studying how the 'circles and lines and runes' look naturally in my world and in your world, and then how they look in my world when I tried to bend time, and then when I tried to teleport, I can attempt to find how the magic in this world would have to look to open a portal from here to Equestria!"

"...You...Sum that up in short?"

"I'm making magic."

"Ah."

"You're not going to ask about how there's magic in this world, or that I had previously and am now attempting to time travel and teleport?"

"Twi, you've convinced me you're a magic talking purple pony from another dimension."

"Ko you're so dumb sometimes."
