In Her Honor

Twilight awoke with a start. How awful that nightmare had been. She slipped out from under her covers, made her bed methodically and went down the stairs to find Spike. Spike was nowhere to be seen however Twilight did find a letter. It was addressed to her from Celestia, Spike must have left it for her. She opened the letter and began to read it aloud:

My faithful student,

I request that you come to see me in Canterlot Palace as soon as possible.

Please do not share the content-

Oops she thought as she continued to read no longer aloud.

Please do not share the content of this letter with anyone until we have spoken face to face. As soon as you have a convenient opening in your schedule visit me. It is here that I will give your next and hardest assignment but most importantly your final assignment.

"What could this possibly mean?" she thought. "Why didn't she sign the letter PRINCESS Celestia?" Twilight's stress levels were ascending rapidly. She grabbed a piece of parchment, a quill and ink, packed a saddle bag, jotted down a note and ran out of the library. The note read:

Spike,

I am going to the canterlot library to study. I will return as soon as possible, do not worry if I am not back by tomorrow.
