A Most Excellent Adventure

Derpy slumped down on her sofa after a hard day's work of delivering mail. She flung her messenger bag over her shoulder and was rewarded with the sound of a resounding "thud" behind her.

Derpy whirled around, jumping over the sofa, and landing flat on her butt. Her bag had knocked over a cardboard box that she now found in front of her. She blew away at the dust and gingerly opened it. Gasping, Derpy lifted up a deep blue journal from out of the box. She leafed through the pages tenderly, cradling the journal in her arms. "How could I have forgotten this?" she whispered.
