The Adventure Starts

Why?! Why does everything have to die and make me feel so alone! I cried as i flew out of Cloudsdale heading towards the Everfree forest. Why does my life have to be so terrible!  I screamed to myself. I felt tears streaming down my face as I flew into the forest. A weird storm was forming over my head that night and i never noticed how serious it looked. Rain slowly started to come down making it troublesome to fly, especially since I wasn’t one of the best flyer’s from Cloudsdale, “Why!? Why do I have t-” and that was all I was able to say as a strike of lightning came crashing down on me. I screamed out from the pain in my back and started to fall down to the ground.

I was falling. As I came closer to the ground I started to hit every branch in the world from the way it hurt. I heard a snap and just a few seconds later from that sound I felt even worse as I felt the warm blood roll down the side of my left flank and not being able to feel my wing at all. A sudden thought had struck me at the one moment. I was going to die. Die out in the rain, cold, hungry, and alone.... so very alone. With that final thought i hit the ground really hard and fell into a deep sleep.

Angel was out in the EverFree Forest helping Fluttershy pick some flowers, for the upcoming picnic with her mare friend Rainbow Dash, after he got all the flowers he could possibly find in the park that was even suitable for the get together. As Angel was going out farther into the EverFree Forest that he somewhat knew, he seen a flashing light and was startled by it. Angel dropped the basket with the flowers in it, as he stared at the direction it came from and then, seen it again.

He started to go in the direction the flash was coming from, slowly so that he knew if he should continue or not on this little adventure. A few seconds later the flash went off again, so he started to go towards it faster knowing whatever it was, dangerous or not, his curiosity will make him do it anyways. The light was going off now every few seconds and as he was getting closer to the light he noticed the light wasn’t moving around so it couldn’t possibly be a weird creature from the forest, so it must be something else, a type of equipment or some sort.

After a few minutes of him now running towards the light, bumping into everything that got in his way, he came upon an unconscious and bloody pony with a broken camera on the ground a few feet a way that appears to have been ripped off of something, probably the neck of the pony, with the flasher stuck on.   Angel went towards the injured pony, noticing the broken wing on his left side of the body that has dried blood all over it, and cuts all over from head to hoof and being completely covered in blood.

Angel noticed under him that there were different sizes of branches from where the pegasus had fallen. He looked up to see a light shining down on them both and suddenly felt a drip of blood hit his cheek. Angel turned around and started to run back to Fluttershy as fast as he could, to show her what he had found in the forest as he completely forgetting everything else.

Fluttershy was in her cabin and was singing, practicing for the Summer Sun Celebration, while she was waiting for Angel to come back so he could watch the cabin. Suddenly, there was a knock at her door. She went to go check it out and opened it to find that Pinkie Pie was there holding out an invite in her mouth with a big smile on her face as she said in a muffled voice, “Hey Fluttershy! You’re invited to come to a party for a new pony named Twilight Sparkle! Be at the Library soon alright.” as she gave the invite to Fluttershy.

Fluttershy looked away. “I don’t know Pinkie, me and my birds have a lot of practice to get through for tomorrow morning before Princess Celestia arrives for the Celebration.”

Pinkie Pie’s smile started to go down a little bit but it then went right back, “Okie dokie lokie! Hope you find some time Fluttershy! I’ll save you some cake though!” she said as she turned around and started to hop away when Angel came running out of the undergrowth panting hard from the run. He bumped into Pinkie Pie and went straight to Fluttershy trying to demonstrate to her about the injured pony. Pinkie Pie came over after she realized what had hit her and quickly forgetting what had happened and smiled. “Ooh! I love guessing games! Is it a.......Pink Flamingo? Or a Dragon, no no that can’t be it umm....OH! A cupcake!!”

Angel smacked Pinkie Pie’s face and looked at Fluttershy for her to try and figure out what he is talking about. He laid on the ground closing his eyes trying to look like the unconscious pony.

Fluttershy watched him and says,”Are you tired Angel? Maybe you should go and take a nap.”

Angel shook his head and used his little arms to act like he had wings and then brings in his left arm to show that it got hurt and started to go down and crash. Fluttershy watches him and thinks hard, “Um, is it a kite?” Suddenly Angel smacks her face and points towards the woods as he started to go back in, waving for them to follow him completely giving up trying to explain. “Oh....umm... you want me to follow you? Alright...if that’s what you want...” She said faintly as she started to fly into the undergrowth slowly, when Pinkie Pie popped right in front of her face.

“Hey! Can I come with you?” Pinkie Pie said loudly startling Fluttershy. Fluttershy screamed loudly and fell backwards, wings clenched tightly to her, breathing really hard staring at Pinkie. “Oops..I’m sorry Fluttershy i didn’t mean to scare you.”

Fluttershy started to calm down and looked at Pinkie, “Oh, its fine Pinkie.. lets just go see what Angel wants.”

As Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy was running behind Angel they started to see a very little light in the far distance and Pinkie jumped and gasped, “SHINY!!” she yelled and just ran as fast as she could to get to the light and Fluttershy jumped and tried to catch up.

“Pinkie! Wait!” as she said in a small voice almost inaudible to Angel who was right in front of her. Fluttershy closed her eyes and started to talk to herself, trying to calm herself down, as she was approaching the light. Pinkie Pie suddenly yells and makes Fluttershy jump and quickly gets to Pinkie Pie, “Pinkie Pie. What’s wrong?” as she didn’t see what Pinkie Pie yelled at.

“It’s a little lonely wonely pony. I wonder what he’s doing out here and not in town getting ready for the party.” Pinkie said in a sad voice and as Fluttershy came up to Pinkie to see what she was talking about, Pinkie Pie said, “Then again i never seen this pony. I know almost everypony in town...hey wait! He has an injured wing!” as she looked at the crooked wing.

Fluttershy gasped, “We have to get him back to town but.....but...umm.....oh Fluttershy you can do this...” as she whispered to herself trying to get enough courage as possible to do what she knew was right.

Pinkie Pie started to giggle, “What are you doing Fluttershy?” as she had the injured pony on her back, ready to go back to town, “We have to get this silly willy back to town.” she giggled and started to walk away with the stallion on her back. Fluttershy walked behind her watching the injured stallion making sure he didn’t fall.

As Pinkie Pie walked into the hospital doors with Fluttershy following her close behind, the medical pony’s rushed right over to get the stallion off Pinkie Pie’s back without saying a word to them and rushed him back to the ER. Fluttershy sat down on a chair and took a big sigh, relieved that she was out of the forest and into an area where she doesn't have to be so afraid. Pinkie Pie came hopping over now and sat down right next to her and started to hum and sing and do...well everything Pinkie normally does. A little while later the head nurse walked over to them and spoke to them in a calm voice, “So where did you too find him at? We’ve got records of everypony in town but we don’t have anything for him.”

Pinkie Pie looked at her and smiled as she said, “We found him in the EverFree forest on top of some branches and stuff.”

Fluttershy nodded, “We only found him because of Angel showed him to us.” The bell behind her started to go off indicating it was the time for her practice with the bird’s in the park. “Oh no! I’m late. I will have to talk to you about this at the party tonight at the Library for that Twilight Sparkle you met Pinkie. Tell me what happened alright.” as she ran out of the door to go to the park.

“Okie dokie lokie!” Pinkie said as she turned back to the nurse and seen the doctor was coming out.

“He’ll be alright. Nothing too severe but that wing is really screwed up. Looks like someone was trying to kill him by the way its broke. Also there’s this burn mark on his back that makes me wonder what actually did happen. Also what I'm finding weird is is that he doesn't have a cutie mark on his flank so what ever happened to him, it isn’t good at all, but he’s still unconscious at the moment but if you want Pinkie Pie you can go see him.”

“Okie dokie lokie!” she said as she hopped away towards the stallions room.

Everything was hurting, every muscle, every bone, every feeling I felt in my body felt broken or dead, could that be it? I could be dead but now, for some reason, feel all this pain and suffering I had to live with in my life? No it couldn’t be that, not at all. It was just pure terror for me as I had to open my eyes, slowly trying to make out what was around me.

I am alive after all but I can’t see. Its just fuzzy, thats really all I can see, it was nothing but fuzz all around me and every little sound that I heard was so far away. I here a very faint beeping, what sound’s like some sort of  a machine, and now this pink blob appears above me and had her body pressed up against me, and I felt a weird sensation even tho I didn’t know what she was but I also thought that there were hooves on my abdomen as the pink thing tried to talk to me. I closed my eyes for a second or two and opened them up to see that the pink animal came into focus better than before and I jumped as I recognized that it was a pony.

I was able to choke out painfully, “W-where am I? W-who are you..? Last possible thing I remember was falling out of the sky with my dad’s favorite, most expensive, camera was in my hands try-....” he stopped short as the pink creature laughed.

“You mean ‘camera was in my hooves’ don't you?” she said as she turned to looked at my lunch tray, “Ooh! Cupcakes!” she rushed over and started to eat all the food on my tray that was just brought in.

I was confused, “Hooves? I don’t have...” and I was surprised now because she was right, “..hooves...b-but...hey! Stop eating my food!”

Pinkie Pie laughed, snorted a little bit and burped, “That was good! Well to answer your questions. I’m Pinkie Pie and this is Equestria and that camera thingy is in the forest, but probably not where we found you.” she said a little bit sad that she forgot the camera.

“Pinkie Pie....huh.....alright Pinkie, thanks but now here’s the new problem... I don’t know who I am, or where you're talking about when you say forest...I’m so confused right now.!” As I was about to get up and grab my head in frustration as pain from the wing hit me and i had to let out a small grown, “Ahhh! that hurts!” I looked back and seen the wings. “W-what happened to these.....wing’s?”

“You fell in the forest, the Everfree forest, and I found you and brought you here with Fluttershy. Ohh! Speaking of Fluttershy I have to go get the party ready!” She said as she rushed out of the room.

“Well....i guess I’m not invited then..” he said as he sighed and looked at his tray of food  and looked out the window and fell asleep.

I woke up when the nurse came in that morning and said as she opened the curtains for me to see out of them, “Today is the 1000th time the princess will turn Night into Day. Do you have a nice view...umm...Mr....”

I sighed and shook my head, “I don’t know what my name is but thanks....I guess...” I said and yawned. I looked out the window and looked up at the stars close in on the moon and said in a small whisper, “I’m confused on who I am....I’m hungry.....and I'm in pain.......what can possibly make this worse than how it is right now?” With that he seen something inside of the moon disappear. I suddenly heard thunder crackle down and winced as pain came across my entire body and hearing faint screaming coming from a far distance. “What the heck was that?”

The nurse came in, “Nightmare moon! She has returned and she has just plagued us in eternal darkness!”

I looked at her confused, “Nightmare moon? Eternal darkness? What are you even talking about?”

The nurse shook her head, “J-just don't worry about it alright....you’ll be safe here in hospital. Just...umm.....take a nap alright?”

I still had a puzzled look on my face from what she’s saying, “Um......alright then. That’s a great idea actually...I’m still tired from all of this.” I yawned and started to go down towards the pillow hitting it softly and instantly, falling asleep on the uncomfortable bed.

There was a giant crash outside of my hospital room and I jumped up and looked around, scared, “What was that!! More thunder!?”

The nurse came into the room and settled me back down into my bed, “Don’t worry, I just accidently dropped some pans in the hallway. Nothing to fear alright.” she said with a big smile on her face. Suddenly her expression changed as she seen light coming from behind the closed curtains. “I-is that..... Light?!”

I turned my head and smiled, “That is light! The Sun’s back then! I’m guessing that whole eternal darkness thing was a big hoax then huh.”

She laughed a bit, “I heard 6 pony’s stopped her and her evil ways. Enough of that tho do you need anything before I go?”

“Not really I think I’m ok..”he takes a big yawn before continuing, “I’m just a bit tired but I’m ok.” he said as his stomach started to growl. “Can you please bring up some food though if you wouldn’t mind. That Pinkie Pie pony yesterday ate all my supper....”

“Don’t worry about it alright we’ll get you some nice hot food.” She says as she goes to the window’s, “let me open these up so you can see the sunrise first!” and as she pulled them back there was a gray pegasus pony coming right for the window at a decent speed, hitting her face on it hard. “Oh my! Ditsy Doo! Are you alright?!”

“Yea I’m alright.” she said as she got herself off the window and started to fly in a different direction, “Just trying to get back home is all.”

“Alright Ditsy be careful and don’t break...” There was a big crash from across the street, “....anything....”

I looked at the nurse, “Who was that?”

The nurse laughed and said, “Oh that was just Ditsy Doo....”

I nodded and looked out the window , “How much longer do you think I will have to stay here till I'm allowed to go and...is there any place or way I can find out what my name is here in this town of yours?”

The nurse sighed, “Well we have to wait till you can walk and do all other normal functions.....thats all up to you on how much you wanna work alright? About the name thing...I’m not really sure to be honest.”

I looked right at her and nodded, “Well lets get started with it then. Right now.”
