The Adventure Starts

PLEASE TELL ME HOW MY STORY'S DOING IN THE COMMENT'S! Also I'm sorry i haven't uploaded this sooner, I am not able to edit this at home to what i believe makes sense since chrome always shuts down and with Christmas Break and me leaving for a week this is the soonest i could upload this Chpt. working on number 4 now and a fair warning, lots of twists ahead  and lots more from the actual show's story and now enough of my rambling time for the story!

“Ah” i sighed in relief from not being naked anymore, “This feels much better! Thank you so much Rarity!”

“Oh it’s nothing darling. Now don’t forget the directions I told you to get to Twilight’s house alright. It’s not too far from here”

“Don’t worry Rarity. I have the directions memorized..... how am I going to get him out of here...” I said as I looked at the unconscious Sugar Rush. Of course  when Rarity was working on my jacket she had dropped some of her stuff and bent down to pick them up right in front of him and well...the rest is really clear what happened then.

“Don’t worry. He can stay here till he wakes.”

“Rarity you're the best ever! Thank you!” as I had given her a hug and started to head to the door, “I really didn’t want to carry him all the way back home and run all the way to Twilight’s house.”

“I understand that feeling.” she started to laugh, “Just don’t worry about him alright. He’ll be safe here tonight.”

“Thank you so much! Bye now Miss Rarity!”

“Come back soon! I had fun talking to you!”

I heard that little bit as I was heading out onto the road to Twilight’s house. Now Rarity proclaims that Twilights the best with magic in all of Equestria, but I wasn’t sure after I heard this, “Come one, come all! Come and witness the amazing magic of the Great and Powerful

Trixie!”

I stopped and turned around to witness a trailer unfold into a stage with spinning rockets, sparkling stars hanging everywhere and so much more. Then a big puff of smoke came up and this blue pony came out with a smirk grin. I really can’t say much for what she said, and I was confused why I couldn’t, since every time she said anything I was only able to make out faint screeching sounds from her, but somewhere in the crowd i heard this from a yellow earth pony with three apples as her cutie mark, “That’s it! I can’t stand for no more of this!”

A little purple dragon yell out, “You show her AJ!”

AJ, “Can your magical powers do this?” and with that last statement the yellow pony did some amazing things with a rope that I couldn’t believe, she jumped through it, had it spinning around her from high to low and did so much more I was completely dumbfounded.

I guess the crowd was the same way as all they got out was, “Ooh.” AJ stated proudly from her show, “Top that, missy!”

Trixie lifted her hat off of her head to expose her horn, “Oh, ye of little talent.” she had a stupid smug look on her face that I just couldn’t stand as she then state’s, “Watch and be amazed at the magic of Trixie!”

The rope starts to come up in a pattern of a snake as it came up slowly when suddenly it quickly wrapped around AJ’s hooves making her fall down. AJ makes a little sound before an apple was stuffed into her mouth. Everypony around me except the small group in front was cheering around and laughing at this show. “Imbeciles.” I state as I start to walk away.

Wait! Is that Miss Rarity up there in the front? I just couldn’t believe that even she was here. All that I heard in that small moment was this, “There’s no need to go strutting around and showing off like that!” but right after that it was all just a blur as I stared at Rarity. The next thing that after all the ponies were cheering for what the pegasus did I was able to snap out of the little trance I was in. The pegasus said with the cheering, “They don’t call me ‘Rainbow’ and ‘Dash’ for nothing.”

I looked up to look at that pegasus but right when I did, all I seen was a rainbow spinning around and around being lifted up into the air with it moving faster than a lighting bolt. I snickered a bit when the pegasus was done spinning around in that colorful tornado as she stated, “I think I’m gonna be sick.”

Well I really didn’t have a good seat but all I overheard was a crack of thunder and a yelp, some talking amongst the crowd and Trixie, and then I heard the pegasus and AJ talking up there about a magic duel. I was watching intently when I heard Rarity’s voice telling them that she took the hint to try and beat the blue unicorn. Rarity, lovely lovely Rarity, walked up onto the stage and suddenly BAM! She transforms with the most beautiful dress on that I have ever seen. I was staring in pure amazement, but that look on that blue unicorn well, it was downright evil.

The blue unicorn’s horn lit up and a flash happened at where Rarity was standing and I looked away from the light so I  wouldn't be blinded but after what Trixie’s magic did to Rarity lets just say that I wish I was blinded. The worst thing you could possibly do to a fashionista like her is to mess with one thing, her hair.

Her hair was a green mess that looked to me like some sort of moss that grows on trees with what I believed was twigs and a birds nest in her hair. Everyone was disgusted by what Trixie did to Rarity’s hair, and no one at all wanted to tell Rarity what Trixie did to her. Yet one little purple dragon ruined the whole “don’t tell her about her hair” thing.

The purple dragon said, “It’s green.” as AJ, the rainbow colored pegasus and a purple unicorn glared at him he say’s, “What?”

“That’s it I'm leaving from this depressing site.” I said as I started to walk away from the crowd.

I was walking for a bit down that road, now completely lost from the directions Rarity gave me, “I wonder if I could just find that unicorns home by myself....lets see.” as I had started to look around completely confused about the directions and where I’m at when I seen something I wasn’t expecting, a tree, but not just any tree but in fact a tree home and a purple unicorn had ran right into house at that moment.

I stared at the house for a bit. That seems like the description of the house that Rarity was talking about. I walked towards it wondering if the unicorn in the house would mind company but the way she looked running into the house, I wasn’t so sure if I should.

I walked towards the house just trying to imagine why the unicorn ran in the way she did. Should I not bother to ask what’s wrong? Well even if I do ask I need help anyways...I can ask her for help...hmm....I’ll leave the “what’s wrong with you” question out..... I kept thinking about this when my hoof came up and knocked on the door softly, but apparently she heard the soft thump and started to say, “Well hi Flutter-” when she noticed it wasn’t the pony she thought it was. “Hi, who are you?”

I cleared my throat and smiled kinda shyly and said, “Well....I’m not really sure how I can answer that if I really don’t know who I am. I’m only wondering if you know where I can find a pony named,” I looked at the side of my hoof and started, “umm ‘Twilight.... Sprinkle.”

She laughed, “Well I would guess that should say ‘Sparkle’ but thats funny you ran into me. I'm Twilight Sparkle.”

I laughed a bit, “Well I had some directions from Rarity down the road there and I kinda got lost with that show that was going on. She told me that she couldn’t do a spell that I was asking for and she mentioned you saying you're the best with magic. Is that correct?”

Twilight smiled and blushed as nodded her head, “Yea I know a few spell’s. What type of magic spell were you looking for by chance?”

“Well like how I said earlier I can’t really remember anything about my past. I was only wondering if you knew a spell to help jog the memory.” I said with a straight face.

Her smiled faded, “That kind of spell is really advanced, I really don’t know if the spell will hone in on one memory or jog some of it. It could give you the answers you want or some terrible incident that you never wanted to remember. Do you understand what I'm saying?”

I nodded my head slowly, “I think I do, so what you’re saying is that if you use the spell, you won’t be able to give me my whole memory back and that the memory that will come back is going to be something completely random, is that it?”

She nodded, “Yes. That is exactly it. Now do you still want me to use the spell to jog your memory? It can be really dangerous as it could completely ruin your life.”

I nodded, “Yes, please. I want to remember something from my past. My life now is just trying to remember who I am. So its completely fine with me.”

She nodded, “Well, come into my house and we will get ready to do the spell. I’m sorry if the spell does hurt you in anyway.”

I had a little smirk on my face, “Don’t worry about it alright.”

I walked into the house slowly not trying to show how scared I really was. I could be injured from this spell? I know I wanna learn who I am but still. I sat down on the wood floor right in the middle of what looks to be a library. Twilight went up the stairs up to the next floor. I sat there patiently waiting when the door opened and the purple dragon from earlier walked in, “Twilight! I’m back!” he yelled up before he even looked at me. He eyed me for a bit, “So.... why are you here?” he said bluntly.

I cleared my throat, “I’m here to have Twilight do a spell on me to try and jog my memory so I can remember my past.”

He nodded and had a small smile on now, “Alright well I’m Spike. Twilight’s assistant.”

I smiled, “Assistant huh. That’s pretty cool.”

Twilight started to come back down the stairs with a big book hovering in front of her with a purple aura around it. “I found the book that the spell is in. Oh Spike your back,” she said as she probably wasn’t even paying attention to his yells earlier. “can you go and give me a bucket of water and some chalk?”

Spike looked at Twilight, “Wait you're doing that spell? Twilight you know how dangerous that is to you and....him.”

She nodded and said in a nervous tone, “Don’t worry Spike I have been practicing a lot with the forming of this spell lately. I believe I have what it takes to do it.”

“Well alright then Twilight I won’t try and convince you of doing the other spell but you know, one little mess up and you both can well....explode.”

She sighed, “Yes Spike I know the consequences of doing this spell but it is needed for this kind of memory spell.”

I looked at her still stunned from the word ‘explode’ but I only nodded, “Twilight. I trust you from the way Rarity described you and from the fact you're making sure about all the precautions you're doing for this, well it’s reassuring to me. Thank you.”

Twilight smiled, “See Spike nothing to worry about.” she said with a smile for reassurance, “Now Spike, where’s that chalk at?”

He ran into the kitchen to get the supply’s she asked for. I sat there, patiently looking around the room, “So...if this goes really well...will we be counted as ‘friends’?”

She looked over there and nodded, “Of course we could be friends.”

I sighed in relief.  That’s good to have somepony like her to be a friend...  she started to draw a circle big enough for what looks like two pony’s can fit. Is that circle part of the spell?  After she was done putting the circle down she was then putting down lines in weird patterns as she kept big enough spots for us both to stand at with a small circle in the middle.

She placed the bucket on the inside of it and looked over at me, “There are many different ways to do this spell, but this has been the best way for me to do it. Walk into the circle to your spot t and stand there but please do be careful, if you touch anyone of those lines you may accidentally mess up the line, the spell could completely backfire on us”

I was nervous as anypony would have been, if just barely touching one of those well crafted lines the spell could backfire. It would have been a bit more reassuring if I could have used my wings, but then I would have to worry about landing and maybe the wind current that came off my wings but that stupid injury has left me crippled to the ground.

“A-alright. Here I go.” as I started to walk towards the design carefully, not trying to touch it at all. “Almost there...” I said taking the final step into my spot.

Twilight nodded her head, “Alright are you ready? If so put your hooves in the bucket and close your eyes and stay still.” as she said that she put her own hooves in the water.

I slowly picked mine up and put them in the nice warm water feeling, and getting relaxed and calm from the temperature as I closed my eyes.

“Alright I’m going to start the spell.”

There was darkness, thats all Twilight was able to see inside of his memory’s, but after a few seconds of the non-stop darkness, there was light. Light that showed her the way to go to help her new friend get to his memories and feelings and to try and answer all of his questions.

“Alright now here’s the door.....now where the heck is he at?” she said as she was looking around for him. She seen him in the distance and sighed in relief as he approached from her left and she knew the most difficult part of the spell was completed.

As he approached she smiled at him, “Hey! I found the door that holds your memories. Now all you have to do is open the door and walk through it. Now remember that this is just going to be a dream and you won't be able to control what's going on, but you will feel like you're there. Do you understand?”

“Yes I understand.” he said as he went to the door. “Well here we go!”

“Ok.” I said as I held my eyes shut. I was surprised with what was going on. It was first dark then I witnessed what happened that day as I was going back through the memory’s that I knew. Then it came to a door and I seen Twilight right in front of the massive thing.

“Alright this spell can only show you a few things alright. I have no clue what you will remember or what will happen to you with the memories that will come back.” she seen me nod my head to show her I understand what she is talking about.

Her horn started to glow a bright purple as the door started to open and a bright light shown at them. She was sent to a bright yellow room  where she seen many different door’s to lead to different feeling’s of her new friend. “Why did the door bring me here and not with him like normal?”

She looked around as she heard an echoey voice that sounded like her new friend. He sounded like he was freaking out and completely terrified. “Don’t worry! You won’t get hurt!” She looked at all of the different door’s but spotted one that sparked her interest a bit.

Love. That’s all that the door had said on it’s little sign above the door. The only reason why she had any interest to look at this door is because when she first seen him, she couldn’t explain it but she just, had an instant liking to him as she looked into his green eye’s.

“This is just weird......I know it’s short notice to have these types of feelings for a new friend that i just met but......Gah! I don’t know!” , she looked at the door and slowly opened it up and was surprised what she had saw.

It was an image of her. Not only here though but of food and other thing’s, including a camera that looked really old, but the only thing that she cared about was the image of her in his mind. “H-how......” was all that she was able to get out of her throat.

She quickly closed the door to the image of her and just sat there quietly, trying to get a grasp on what she just saw, “Is this what they mean by......’L-love at first sight?’ That’s it I’m going to get out of this part......but I’m going to keep his dream going as long as I possibly can......” and with that she got out of the dream state and back to reality.

“Alright I’m going to start the spell.” is the last thing that she had said before we got into the spell

It was a dark and desolate area where I ended up at, but after a little while of waiting it brightened up and I was able to see Twilight. I smiled and walked towards her  “Hey! Here’s the door that holds your memories. Now all you have to do is open the door and walk through it. I have to follow you though to keep the spell in motion. Now remember that this is just going to be a dream and you won't be able to control what's going on, but you will feel like you're actually there. Do you understand?”

“Yes I understand.” I said as I went to the door. “Well here we go!”

“Ok.”

I was falling. I wasn’t a pony anymore and I wasn’t having that bad dream. This was real, and I was in life or death situation. “Help me!! Help!!” I was terrified since I knew I was going to die. I heard through my mind,’Don’t worry! You won’t get hurt!”

I felt a bit more comfortable by this voice. I looked down at my hooves, but they were not hooves but hands. I couldn’t believe what was on my hands. Blood. Blood all over my hands and arms and even part of my shirt. I smelt something that smelt like there was burning, which i then realized was my hair.

In the memory i turned over to look up at the sky and I seen a plane completely on fire coming down at a more gradual angle than what I was going at. I turned back over and closed my eye’s expecting for the impact that was soon going to come over me, when I felt this cool mist come all over me as I fell through a puffy cloud.

I opened my eyes to only be surprised that I was now floating in mid-air, but wait....i wasnt floating, but I am actually flying. I looked up to see the brand new wing’s that was now evident on my back.

I was in total shock and all I could get out was, “Wow.” I started to go slowly, learning how to fly rather quickly. I was having a blast! Feeling the wind in my face and going through all the clouds was amazing.

I flew around in circles like a little toy airplane that you would get at a store. I kept flying closing my eyes to feel the cool breeze in my face when I ran into a very fluffy and well put together cloud . I pulled myself off of the cloud and looked at the cloud. The cloud looked like a house of some sort. I went to the side of the cloud and now that looked like the front of the home and then I seen something that I couldn’t believe.

It was an entire city made out of cloud homes and pegasus entering in and out of them with ease. I flew over to gaze upon all of the cloud homes when I didn’t notice myself running into another pegasus. “Oops, my bad. Are you alright?”

She nodded, “Yes I’m fine don’t worry about it.” she looked right at me with an interested look, ”Hmm you look new here, where you from? If you don’t live here then you must need a home, oh my that must be so bad without a home. Hey you can stay with me and my family! My husband wouldn’t mind if we helped another pegasus out. Oops how rude of me for rambling on like that.” she giggled, ”My name is Shining Star, what’s yours?”

I stared at her confused from the rambling and I realized I didn’t know my name, but thanks to her she helped me figure it out as she looked at the camera in pure awe from how hi-tech she thought it looked. “Oohh this is such a cool camera. Hey it say’s ‘Property of SnapShot.’. SnapShot huh? That’s a cool name!”

I smiled a bit, “Well thank you, and I would be happy to go with someone so humble to let a guy like me stay at a place till I can get my hooves off the ground.”

She laughed and tapped my shoulder a bit, “Your funny since you're hooves won't touch the ground here. You know, since we’re up in the sky.”

I laughed and suddenly there was a bright light coming all around me and I opened my eye’s into Twilight’s house. Twilight’s eyes were open and she looked at me, confused and what seemed like.....embarrassment about what she seen. “What........did you see in your dream?” she said in a shy tone.

I stared at her, “Are you alright Twilight.” she was a bit frantic and tried to get what i saw out of me and not to worry about her. “Alright then...... I’m sorry I asked but what I seen was..... these creatures that I believe are called ‘humans’ and I was one of them......but I was falling and suddenly “Poof” I was how you see me now. I also found out about my name. My name is SnapShot.”

“SnapShot huh?” she smiled and was blushing, “That’s a nice name there”

“Thanks Twilight.” I smiled back and started to feel drowsy and tooked a big yawn and when I was done Twilight looked at me and laughed slightly, “If you want you can sleep in my bed tonight. I will sleep on the couch or something if you want....but first I have some studying up on these ‘Ursa Major’s’ because of that story Trixie said.”

He looked at me, “Alright then. Well....good night.” he said sleepily but when he came to give me a hug he fell onto me knocking us both over with the bucket. He was out cold as I enjoyed his presence on top of me as I hugged him as  tight as I possibly could so I knew what he felt like, but I knew I had to get him to bed so I used my magic to levitate him off of me and I brought him to bed.

“That always happens with that spell.” She laughed as she had the biggest blush on her face from the big hug. “I may go to sleep on the couch” she started to laugh enjoying the little joke she said,”Yea right I’m going to sleep on the couch if I can stay with my little crush” she said in a whisper at the end. e. “Good night, SnapShot.” as she stayed at the door, but walked back in and kissed his forehead for the longest time. “Well I guess it’s time to study.”
