Yu-Gi-Oh! Feral Beginnings

I had walked into town the next morning with a sleepy look after leaving to visit Fluttershy for a bit. She'd realised she was late for something and ran off. I realised the same later once I bothered to actually look at the time. I took wing and quickly raced into town to make a new deck to try out. I flew to the library, where the others were gathered.

"-and thus, we shall be starting a tournament!" Twilight finished as she stepped down from the lightweight pedestal for the Dueling Club of Ponyville, or the DCP.

"Hey dude, it's your turn." My friend Changeheart whispered to me. I cautiously walked up to the pedestal and spoke into the microphone up there.

"Well. As the resident loser of the DCP-" This elicited some chuckles from the crowd "I have to say that we have some of the best duelists in Equestria, as I've traveled around and beaten everyone I've met. So I'm proud to say with the start of this tournament, we can decide what seven ponies (A/N: You can see where this is going, right?) will be representing us in the DMWC, or Duel Monsters World Championship. We will have fourteen tournaments, organised accordingly, with 4 or more ponies in each tournament. At the end of the fourteenth finals, we will start a "career" as some would call it. Dueling random people at random times. The seven duelists with the best win/loss ratio will represent us in the DMWC."

"Let's shut up and start dueling!"

"YEAH!" The crowd shouts as they rush around the fourteen signs, looking for their name, and their first opponents.

I walk up to the sign I know has my name and look at my opponent. Cloud Jumper. Didn't know he was here, but, oh well.

"Hey Heroe! Let's duel!"

"Not now, Changeheart. I need to find Cloud first."

Cloud Jumper suddenly appears behind me, undisguised (He's a wingless changeling that most of Ponyville gets along with, he's much better at magic then most changelings.), and I turn around quickly.

"Cloud! Let's get to our duel!
