There are many differences about this world and many things that me and my friends made up. All of the characters that live in Aradia belong to me and my two best friends. Twilight sparkle and her friends were relaxing in the field outside of Fluttershy’s cottage when they heard Spike yelling from a little bit away.Twilight looked to see what was wrong and what she saw was Spike face first on the ground waving a letter in the air. After a few moments the purple dragon got up “Twilight! It’s an urgent letter from the princess! She needs you guys in Canterlot right away!” “Twilight Sparkle, my faithful student, I have called you and your friends here under dire circumstances. Princess Luna is very ill and I only know of one pony that can save her, sadly, that pony doesn’t live in Equestria.” Princess Celestia spoke quietly, trying not to look too downtrodden, and to keep her regal appearance. “What do you mean this pony doesn’t live in Equestria? I thought that there were no ponies outside of Equestria? Only Changelings.” Twilight said, confused “How are we to help Princess Luna if the only pony powerful enough isn’t within reach?” “I never said that this pony wasn’t within reach, I only said that they didn’t live in Equestria. Which is exactly why I’ve called you all here. I have a mission for you. I need you all to travel to the world of Aradia. There are many things that you need to learn first and many things you will have to learn once you get there. The main thing is, be open to new things.” Celestia gave them all a serious expression, “The first thing you need to do is travel to the everfree forest, you’ll be looking for an alicorn mare named Cloudswirl, she already knows you are coming. If you tell the creatures that you are friends of hers then they will guide you to her. She will tell you everything you need to do from there.” They all looked panic struck but they nodded in agreement “Anything to help Princess Luna,” Rarity said quietly, having a soft spot for the dark mare. “I think it’ll be fun seeing a different world!” Pinkie said happily, bouncing out of her moment of panic. “It shouldn’t be too scary....” Fluttershy mumbled, her hair hiding her face. “It’ll be awesome! I wonder if they have anything like the wonderbolts there.” Rainbow Dash said excitedly. “Ummm...... Sugarcube, I think you’re gettin’ a mighty bit off topic there.” Applejack said nudging Rainbow Dash. “Either way, I think what we’re all trying to say is, it would be an honor to help you and Princess Luna.” Twilight said giving all of her friends a look over before turning back to Princess Celestia. “Well I’m glad, now you should get going before it’s too dark out, send me a letter when you meet Cloudswirl.” Twilight nodded before turning and running out of the castle, her friends close behind her. Twilight and her friends walked along the path through the everfree, looking around for any lurking creatures. “I’m surprised that we haven’t seen any creatures yet. Normally there’d be quite a few of them.” Twilight said. “Yea, I wonder where they all went. Oh! I know! Maybe they’re planning a party to celebrate us coming to the Everfree! Wait, they couldn’t have planned a party without the ultimate party planner! Could they?” “Well, they could but I don’t think that’s why they aren’t here.” Twilight looked around again, noticing a seemingly glowing building “What’s that over there?! It seems to be radiating magic!” They all ran forward, nearly running into a cloaked pony that appeared from the mist, seemingly made out of it. “Halt! Who are you and why are you near my sanctuary?!” The misty pony asked. “I’m Twilight Sparkle and these are my friends: Applejack, Fluttershy, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, and Spike.” “Ah, I have been expecting you. I am Cloudswirl, protector and controller of the Everfree Forest.” She said, pulling off her hood to reveal her glazed over and cloudy blue eyes, along with her rainbow mane and black body. “Please, come in to my home so we can talk.” Twilight nodded and led her friends into the still glowing building. Once they were all inside and seated Twilight spoke up “How did you know we were there, since you obviously can’t... ummm... see....?” “I have a barrier around my home allowing me to tell when somepony is nearby. I also get visions that tell me of impending danger or of other important events. That’s how I knew you would be coming.” She sighed lightly, “Anyways, we need to get on to business. As Celestia has probably already told you, there is a lot to learn before you travel to Aradia. First thing is, it will take much more magic than you have to travel there.” “So you are going to help us?” Twilight asked. “Yes, I am one of the more powerful ponies in Equestria, I am a descendant from Starswirl the bearded.” “Really?! How close in the line are you to him?!” Cloudswirl laughed lightly, “I’m his daughter...” adding in a little bit more quietly “and Celestia is my mother.....” Twilight nearly fainted “I can’t believe I’m talking to Starswirl’s daughter! Actually! Not only his daughter but Celestia’s too!” “It’s not a big deal, really, I’m just a normal pony.” she blushed lightly, even if it was barely visible through her black fur. “Anyways, next thing, earth ponies are very rare in Aradia so the ponies there will look at Pinkie pie and Applejack with amazement.” “Do they have somethin’ against us earth ponies or somethin’?!” Applejack asked, looking somewhat upset. “No, the reason there’s so few of them actually has to do with my next lesson. Lesson number 3, there are a huge number of Alicorns. There is a giant council of alicorns that rule over Aradia. Infact, the council is so big you probably won’t even meet all of the members. Then there’s the royal guard, which is mostly made up of alicorns. There’s also alicorns who have normal jobs, like I know an alicorn there who’s a music teacher. Anywho, there are a lot of alicorns, though they are still more rare than unicorns and pegasus are. Due to the fact that there are so many alicorns being born from normal pony couples, it makes it more rare for there to be earth ponies.” Authors note: Sorry this is mostly dialogue, I’ll try to work on that. Hopefully you guys like it. Oh, by the way, Cloudswirl’s mane and tail actually are seven different colors, like the actual rainbow, not like Dashies mane. She is also solid black except for a white swirl marking from ear to chin on each side (goes over eyes), and swirly sock markings on her legs. I’ll have a reference on my deviantart soon.
