Where am I?

It had been only 15 hours since Jordan had been brought into Equestria, Princess Celestia and Luna were just about to leave to go back to Canterlot, but before they could depart Princess Celestia gave Jordan and the mane six an envelope.

"What's this?" Jordan asked

"It's an invitation." Princess Celestia said "An invitation to the Summer Sunshine Gala next weekend. You are invited as well as you all my little ponies. And Jordan if I recall correctly, you obviously don't know what this is. It's a ball party that we do in Canterlot to celebrate the beginning of summer. Where something nice."

"Don't worry your grace." Jordan said "I've got something nice and well put up to chart for that."

"It was a pleasure meeting you Jordan, see you next week." Princess Celestia said, and with that, they were on the carriage back to Canterlot.

After they had left, the other main 5 left as well to head back to their proper places and to prepare for next weekend. Twilight decided to let Jordan stay with her and Spike until further notice. She had set up a bed for him in the back room.

"Twilight, you don't mind if I bring my stuff in here do you?" Jordan said

"Not at all." Twilight said

Jordan went back to his car, which was parked behind the library, and got out his bags. Once he got back inside he went to the back bedroom and put his bag on the bed. Once he got his bag and settled in he went back to his car, went under the passenger seat and pulled out a box of Romeo & Julieta Bully cigars, and took his lighter out. Everytime he went on a trip he always took a box of cigars with him. He managed to sneak past Twilight and to his room. He put the cigar box on the stand by his bed, opened it and pulled out one. He poked a hole in the back of the cigar, put it in his pocket, and walked up to the balcony along with his iphone and his charging dock that he packed.

Once he reached the door that lead to the balcony, he found Twilight and Spike already up there chillin', he then opened the door.

"Twilight, can I..." Jordan was about to ask, but Twilight already knew what he was going to to ask.

"Yes Jordan, you can relax with us." Twilight said

Jordan pulled up a tanning chair and sat next to Twilight, Spike was lying down beside her. Jordan then reached into his pocket and pulled out his cigar.

"What's that thing in your hand?" Twilight asked

"It's a cigar it's something humans use to smoke, along with other types called cigarettes and pipes."

"Cool, I can smoke too." Spike said, blowing out a puff of his green fire. Jordan slapped a hand on his face in annoyance.

"No duh, Spike, you're a dragon for the love of pete." Jordan said, he then put his cigar in his mouth took out his lighter, lit it, and started puffing. Once he blew out the first whisp of tobacco smoke, the first question that came to his mind was this.

"So what's gonna happen at this Summer Sun Gala place Celestia spoke of?"

Twilight looked at him curiously "Jordan, didnt you listen to her, it's to celebrate the beginning of summer."

"Really." Jordan said "Back in America, we never celebrate the beginning of seasons, but we do have federal holidays, like for example there is one called Independence Day a.k.a the 4th of July."

"Why is this 4th of July holiday so important to America?" Twilight asked

"Well, because, it was the exact day on July 4, 1776 that a document called the Declaration of Independence signed by the third President of the United States, Thomas Jefferson, was put into place that America would be free of a country called England. Because England was power mad and was performing taxation without representation. So Independence Day is basically the day to celebrate that time we were set free from England. But most people mistake it as America's birthday."

Jordan took another puff on his cigar.

"Wow Jordan." Twilight said "You're a smart one."

"Thank you, T'" Jordan said, turning on his iphone that was plugged into his dock, it now started to play Free Bird by Lynyrd Skynrd.

"Well, Jordan, what are you gonna dress in?" Twilight asked

"Actually, come to think of it, I don't have anything, to dress in, but if I'm not mistaking, Rarity is answer for that isn't she?"

"Yes she is, how did you know?" Twilight asked

"I have my way of guessing." Jordan said, taking another puff on his cigar.
