Fluttershy Prologue part 1
After getting her cutie mark she went straight home to her lovely mom. her mom was an earth pony with a pink mane and yellow coat and right next to her in the living room was her dad a Pegasus with a mane of black and a red coat.
“Hey mom and dad I just got my cutie mark!” she said loudly in the joy of her new cutie mark.
“Oh that's wonderful, don’t you say honey?"
"Yes it is dear.” as her dad take a drink of his coffee.
“Want to have a party for your cutie mark tonight? We can invite your friend Rainbow Dash.”
As she says that Fluttershys ears fold back and she looks down and says “She's too busy, she got her cutie mark on the same day as me...”
Fluttershy dad noticed what was going on and said. “Oh ok then, by the way me and your mom was going to the Cloudsdale mall to pay off some bills. Want to come with us? You get to see the pet shop and play with the bunnies.”
Fluttershy perked up at this, she loves animals and got her cutie mark because of it. “Ok.”
Fluttershy lived on the ground with her mom and dad and the mall was there too it only takes about an hour walk before fluttershy and her parents get there.
As they have go inside the mall her dad gives her a small bag of bits. She looks at it for sometime and asks “Why are you giving me this?” looking up at him.
“Because you got your cutie mark, You can buy yourself a toy or maybe a pet” he looks at her with a happy smile.
Fluttershy was excited for the fact she could have a pet, she always wanted a pet, she wanted one for a long time.
“Go on now and get what you want honey” she smiled at her daughter.
Fluttershy was walking to the pet shop, but as soon she did she saw there was a new store open next to it. She never seen the store before and had no idea what it was. But as she walks to the pet shop something in the store catches her eye.
She walks away from the pet shop, walking into the arcade. Her eyes go wide open as she sees the neon lights and the hip music as she noticed the smell of fast food in the back.
She walks in the arcade as she looks at every game. Until a mare walked up to her and said
“May I help you with anything?”
Fluttershy jumped up in shock and turned around to see a mare with a dark blue coat and a green mane.
Fluttershy slowly said ”Um-um well.. What... Are those things? If you don’t mind me asking that is?”
The mare looked at her then smiles as she says “Well those are video game’s there a lot of fun to play and so on.”
Fluttershy then tilted her head to the side and say “What’s a video game?”
The mare keeps on smiling “It’s a game but you play it with a TV or computer. They are a lot of fun, I think you'll love this one.” she pointed at a game demo called Frogger on a nintencolt entertainment system.
“It's very easy just make the frog go to the other side in one piece. Here let me show you how to play then.”
The mare plays the game to show her how to play, in a few minutes Fluttershy was looking in wonder at how fun the game looked.
15 minutes later
Fluttershy was playing the whole time, now she wanted to buy it, she got off the demo set so she could go look at the price of the console.
Her eyes wide open at it and jaw drop to the ground, It was at 149.9 bits with a game of Frogger and Super Colt Bros.
She look inside bag full of bits to see how much she have and only come up with 230.5 bits, it was not enough for both a pet and a console. ‘Why does it always have to be so hard to pick.....‘
The mare at the bit register saw Fluttershy and raising an eyebrow she walks to her, than ask “Hey you ok mrs. Fluttershy?”
Fluttershy made an “eep” and looked up to the mare than said “ooh... uumm my dad gave me bits for a pet i want, but now I also want to buy a video game console. The NES to be more like it.”
The mare looked around thinking in her head then remembered something.
“I got it! my friend has a pet she'll sell to you it’s called axolotl and she’ll give you 20% off on it from me”
Fluttershy just looked at her and said “What’s a axolotl???”
The mare then says “oh can you get your mom or dad over then?”
Fluttershy was about to reply back, but then a voice come behind her “Don’t worry we are already here.”
