Princess Luna has finally found her special somepony; a one winged Pegasus named Silverwing. Now, they are on a diplomatic mission together to the Griffon Kingdom. While traveling there, they are attacked after a rogue Griffon general stages a sucessful coup.

Now they and the ponies who travel with them have only one mission: make it back to Equestria alive as a war is fought around them.
