Through the Door*Girl
“Sounds good!” smiles the receptionist, then points towards a doorway. “Have fun!”
You step through cautiously, and after a short trip through a silvery tunnel, land smoothly on a leathery couch. You stand up carefully, wary of airsickness, and look around. You seem to be in a loft of some sort, very richly decorated. A quick glance around proves that it is about ten feet across, from the couch to the wall, and thirty feet down from the couch to your bed in the distance. Your leathery couch is smooth and real, indicating that whatever world you stepped into involves you being well off. About seven feet out from the couch is a television, and the three feet of space behind that is filled with bookshelves and a desk of some sort. To your side is several papery dividers, which you eagerly look into.
The first, on the same side of the room as your couch, hides a modest bathroom. Behind that sits your bed, with another desk and a laptop. Across the slender hallway is a guest room that’s never been touched, and next to that is a laundry room and then the kitchen. You hesitate after checking out the whole room, and look around worriedly. What to do?
Make a healthy snack of some sort.
Take a nap.

Chapter 1B*Boy
You're ready to relax when you remember something. Your diet. You stare regretfully at the Doritos and soda, then set them carefully on the counter and jog towards the door. You reach for the door handle and turn it carefully, ready to go for a jog around the block, when you're hit with a downpour of rain, some of which makes it inside. You turn, slamming the door shut nervously, and look around in a panic. Not a storm! Anything but a storm! What to do now though?
Go flop on the bed and goof around on your laptop!

You enter the kitchen and pull open the cupboard door, glad to see plenty of supplies. You grab some stuff after the refrigerator and soon have arranged a variety of apples, peanut butter, carrots, and ranch to make Applejack gallop across your plate. You snicker a bit, then take a seat at the small table in the kitchenette and enjoy the treat. Unfortunately, before you can begin Applejack's mane, you hear a knock at the door. You freeze. Do you...

Chapter 1B*Girl
You sneak between the paper dividers and stare with newly found respect for the bed. You carefully pull the corner of the sheets up, then snuggle underneath them. You realize, much to your delight, that the mattress is heated, and you fall into a comfortable slumber after counting Applejacks leaping over a fence.
You dream about rain, and cold, then knocks at the door. Wait. Knocking?
You blearily wake up, realizing that the knocking is real. You stare at the unappealing walk to the door, but remind yourself that if someone is knocking, it's probably important. What to do?
Answer the door.
Leave it.

Chapter 2A*Girl
You decide answering the door is too complicated for the time being, and resume the task at hand. Later on, you go outside to see a soggy, sopping wet cardboard box on your doorstep. You sigh, then lift it up, grunting softly as you realize how heavy it is. You drag it in, ignoring the drips of rainwater it leaves on your rug, and set it on the table in the kitchen. You peel the cardboard open, then lift the object out.
"A... a pony?" you cry, dropping it in shock. You run to wash your hands, then pull on gloves and lift it out again. "Luna?" you exclaim with joy, until you realize how limp the foal is. It lets out a strangled whimper, then you feel what little warmth it had vanish.
Always answer the door. Unless it's a serial killer or a telemarketer.

The Fourth Wall (START HERE)
You step nervously into a large office, and the moment you do, you look around in awe. The room is circular, and everywhere you turn is a door, a sign above indicating a story, movie, or something similar. Another human is sitting in the middle of the room, and you approach cautiously. She looks up, and smiles.
“Welcome to the Fourth Wall!” she exclaims. “My name’s Renee! I trust you’re here for our newest attraction?”
You nod, a bit shocked by her excessively bubbly attitude. She grabs your hand and drags you towards two doors at the back of the circle. One glows a bit golden, while the other's a bit silvery.
“Right this way then! Now, it is obvious, but I have to ask. Are you a boy or a girl?”
“Boy!” you respond, a bit offended.
“Girl,” you smile politely.

“All righty then! I have your file all ready, so just step through this door!” She shoves you through the door on the left, then waves. “It’s going to be fun!”
You spiral briefly through a strange, glowing tunnel, then land with a crash on a ratty couch. You stand up, hit with a wave of vertigo that quickly vanishes. You look around eagerly. It seems to be some sort of loft, a giant one-roomed mess. The couch you landed on is right next to the front door, and across the way is a television. Towards the back, about thirty feet away, is your bed, and on the opposite side of that is the bathroom, surrounded by paper-thin dividers for some form of privacy. Between the bathroom and the television sits a small kitchenette, stocked with plenty of snack food.
You leap up, running towards the kitchen, and trip. You look down and see you tripped over the television cord. You shake your head, and then walk carefully to the kitchen. You pull open a bag of Doritos and grab a Mountain Dew, then freeze. What to do now?
Go flop on the bed and goof around on your laptop!
Ditch the food and go outside.

Chapter 2A*Boy
You shrug, deciding against opening the door, and fall asleep. The thunder rocks the house, forcing you to hide under your pillows, but when it ceases, you wake up. You walk over to the door and see the rain has stopped, so you pull it open. A small cardboard box awaits, and you lift it up, wrinkling your nose at the smell. You instead set it back down on the step, and pull open the box from there. Inside lays a small figure, and you lift it carefully.
"LUNA?" you screech, dropping it. You lift it back up again, and gasp. She's dead.
Always answer the door. Unless it's a serial killer or a telemarketer.
