The Meeting of the Orphans

Often, the fate of a nation is decided by rulers and armies, in courts and on battlefields. Occasionally, though, the course of history is directed by a few individuals, who may have no idea how profoundly their actions will affect the wider world. Shortly after the failed changeling invasion of Canterlot, events begin to take shape which could spark a much larger conflict. As the powerful make hasty decisions which could shatter the peace, the powerless find themselves in the unique position to stop a war.
