A kingdom of ponies, ruled by a benevolant couple, once existed in peace and harmony. Everypony loved one another, letting no pony fall from the light. But one who lived for too long fell to madness. His name, Jack Frost, bringer of snow and ice. He brought the fall of the kingdom and changed reality with an immense outburst of uncontrolled magic. Now, the world is filled with humans killing animals to survive in the glacier world. This is where Snowdrift comes in. After a series of unfortunate events, he finds himself as the reincarnation of Jack Frost, recalling what his past self did in the past world. But Snowdrift is not the same person as his predecessor. Will he be able to fix what the mess he caused? Or is the magic that controls the Winter wasteland of the Everfrost too much for any man?

Fall of the Kingdom

Two rulers rest on their thrones, their hooves tucked under them as they whisper to each other. The grand throne is lined with a red carpet down the middle, connecting the grand double doors to the twin thrones. Along the sides are giant pillars splitting the carpet from the walls. The room is empty of guards, all drawn to fight off the terrible evil attacking the kingdom.

"It's unstoppable; what are we going to do?!" mutters the beautiful white-coat, blue-haired queen as another boom rocks the castle, more grit raining down around the throne room, now not all loose bits.

"There's nothing we can do against such power," whispers back the beige-coat, black-haired king despite them being the only ones in the room to hear them. Not that it will matter soon enough, anyhow.

The rulers jump up as the doors are blasted inwards, frozen solid. In their place is the intruder who has marched his way through the kingdom and its castle with terrible force. His coat is frosty white and his mane chilly blue. His eyes dart around, cold as ice, and the same whit-blu of such.

He cackles, "Your men were a joy to massacre!"

"Why are you doing this?!" demands the king as he stands up against the unstoppable force.

"Why? Because it's fun! And you ponies were far too peacuful!" He cackles again, his horn sparking and sending out stray streams of ice magic.

"Who are you?!" the queen asks.

"Who am I?" he grins with a scowl etched in his muscles. "You tell stories of how I bring the snow every year!" He glares at the couple, answering the question as they gape. "Jack Frost!" He rears up, his horn aglow with much magic. He stomps back down, releasing a way of magic uncontrolled that wipes out the entire kingdom. Nothingness followed.
