When Jolly Thinker arrives in Ponyville he opens his clinic to help ponies. He is able to hear the many problems of his patients and can help them go through the difficulties that life throws at them, but being an expert in psychology doesn't mean that he can't have his own problems, even less when this problem happens with his youngest patient. When Jolly accepts to help Scootaloo, things don't turn out like he wanted for him and her. What kind of relationship can a therapist and his young patient develop together?
